Overall

Initial ContactIt was quite easy to contact the maker.

Maker CommunicationWe communicated mainly over telegram and the maker was quite responsive. They communicated very well, responded quickly, and showed work-in-progress and updates frequently.

Project Completion TimeThe maker sent me a link to a trello board with a checklist showing my suit in the queue, then in progress, with boxes being checked as the suit was being made. It was in the queue for a good few months, and once the maker started working on my suit it was done pretty quickly. Commissioning in sept 2022, I was hoping for 2023 TFF completion, which was never promised, but I got the suit the week prior which was excellent. The suit was shipped in 2 boxes from UPS, and arrived on time.

Overall Project QualityYes! Overall, I'm very happy with the suit! It looks super good, has been quite durable, and is very comfortable expressive and fun to wear.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head fits quite well, and is very light, making it comfortable to wear for a very long time. It's lined with a thin, spandex / balaclava type material, but I wear a balaclava underneath anyways. It's a foam-base material so it's a bit squishy but springs back, and has held up very well. Being so light, it's pretty breathable, with most of the airflow going through the mouth. The magnetic tongue is really nice because it can be swapped out and cleaned easier. The visibility is quite excellent for me, I have pretty good field of view, very good clarity through the large eyes, and only a small blind spot between the eyes and a larger one below them. I know of some people who clean foambase heads in the tub, but at the maker's recommendation I use a green machine on the inside & outside. Only problem I've had with the head is a couple of thin threads ripping on the inside near the neck, which just took a few minutes to handsew and has been good since.

Visual SatisfactionI absolutely love this head, it's just about symmetrical dead-on to the ref sheet and how it looked in my head. The expression from the front especially I really like. The fur looks great and shaving is really good, floofy where it should be and short where it should be. The eyes are static / 2d, which I think fits the style of the suit better. The maker did not have eyelids available at the time, which I wish I had available.

One-Piece Body

Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit is really good and quite comfortable. It fits very well, slightly loose, but this is a requirement for me being able to wear an ice vest underneath and move around a lot. The interior material is just the back of the fur stitched together, it feels fine. The airflow is about what I'd expect, it's not too thick anywhere to block airflow entirely.

Many of the hand-sewn seams and some of the machine sewn ones have ripped, especially the spots on the back. I tend to move and jump around a lot in fursuit, so I don't really think this is bad design or making. All of the ripped seams have been small and easy for me to handsew quickly.

The zipper in the middle occasionally gets some fur stuck in it because the fur there is longer (to hide the zipper), but with a bit of practice I've been able to get the technique just about right to not have any fur stuck.

The padding is removeable and separate from the bodysuit, which makes it a lot easier to clean. It's essentially a specially shaped fabric pouch with cotton or something on the inside, but it works really well and is quite comfortable.

Visual SatisfactionThe bodysuit looks really good. It looks super good on me and would probably look good on anyone if I let them wear it. The symmetry is really really good, and it matches the ref sheet almost exactly. Only difference between ref and bodysuit is the two-tone on the arms instead of a gradient, but I think that's kinda just how fur goes. The padding looks really good, I love the body shape a lot.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe handpaws are really good! I haven't had any problems with them. They have a very soft material on the inside and fit a bit loose, but would be impossible to put on or remove if they were tighter. The lil claws are made out of soft fabric and have held up really well.

Visual SatisfactionThe handpaws look great, I love them. The material is super soft and the pawpads are great.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail has a single very large loop in the back which I run a belt through. With a ratcheting belt, it holds on to my waist really well, and works either just around my body for fullsuiting or through my pants belt loops if I'm partialing. I clean it in the tub and it cleans really well and easily. The material has held up really well and survived being pulled on more than a few times.

Visual SatisfactionI intentionally got a smaller tail than my ref sheet shows so that it wouldn't drag on the floor, which I'm glad I did. The tail is super cute and fluffy, and goes very well with either fullsuiting or partialing. The bodysuit has a hole in the back that the tail goes through, and for partialing I use the belt loops on my pants to keep it where it should be. Very fun to shake and pull

Feet

Wear SatisfactionThe feetpaws are very good! Because they're so big and a bit padded, they can take a lot of time to dry when I clean them, but pointing a fan inside solves this. They are about knee-height with a zipper attaching them to a bodysuit, so they won't fall off or separate. They're not built around shoes, which is unfortunate because I would really like arch support in them. I haven't had any seams rip or anything like that happen. The maker only offered indoor paws, I've made my own sandals to protect the bottoms which I wear most of the time.

Visual SatisfactionThe feetpaws look great! Being indoor paws they're vulnerable to getting dirty, but they look super good. The lil claws are made out of soft fabric and have held up really well. The pawpads on the bottom are awesome.
