Character Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction Hands are comfortable! Feet are beautifully made and sturdy. I never specified the feetpaw type. They’re comfortable as hell and fit a range of sizes… I have bad circulation and admit I wear them around the house because COMFY. The feet are durable as hell and I only had to sew a small hole in one of the toe ends after 2 cons and two events. Like feetpaws tend to do, they do dry slow, but not as slow as foam feet would- Just stick a rice bag or other desiccant in the toes while drying! Visual Satisfaction The hands look a bit big in proportion to me but I’m also small- I’m sure they wouldn’t be an issue if I got a bodysuit for him, which I plan to do. I guess I never thought about it but he has white on the bottoms of the feet (which are embroidered) so I had to make him some fursuit sandals but I otherwise love the paw detail. Dirt washes out fine. Symmetry overall is fantastic. There’s a lot of fur color transitions and somehow it’s all smooth and the arms always fold and wear very nicely. The shoulders are actually shaped to mine and not just a flat cut! The seams on all items are also lined. Since the suit uses mostly all short pile seal/beaver furs, shaving isn’t really necessary. If there is shaving, it’s done extremely well. I gave CantOfTogs a bit of artist’s liberty with his fursuit part design since I was still working on the head and developing his character. I was stunned by the outcome- more complex, beautiful, and ties into the head well. The furs were honestly probably a challenge given the main color was Ashes of Roses seal fur and a bone teddy fur, something that doesn’t exactly have a long fur equivalent so I was impressed with color matching. I don’t expect to be able to translate a refsheet (made after the parts) to fursuit perfectly, especially given that the main fur color is hard to even get on screen. Special Attachments and Features Tails Wear Satisfaction Light! When washing, dries out very quick. The bottom seam where the padding was stuffed into came loose after first wear. I just added a safety pin as I like to be able to access the inside. Basic polyfil inside- I didn’t request anything special. 🙂 Visual Satisfaction The tail color gradient is great! While I am used to bigger/heavier tails, he is a coyote-jackal and they tend to have skinnier tails. Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? I gave them artists liberty on the pieces and they turned out more detailed and beautiful design-wise than I thought! How well does everything fit together and match up? They look great! While silicone handpaws doesn’t seem right at first with toony/embroidered foot bottoms, I really like the overall style and how they function. Because he’s a semirealistic/semi-toony suit, it’s passable! The paws are a bit proportionately large for me but everyone else can wear him just fine I’d like to get outdoor paws in the future as I don’t like to dirty the bottoms outside and the sandals I made can be a trip hazard at times. Overall Project Quality Professional, durable, lovely to look at. No odors or stains or anything. Purchase Process Initial Contact Contact was easy! I found out about them thru Facebook. Facebook messages were our main form of communication and I filled out a form for measurements. Maker Response Time Very satisfied! Quick communication, all taking place on Facebook messenger. Maker Professionalism Very professional and respectful. Pleasant, only ‘excuse’ was to inform me of a work delay due to a con, which is 100% understandable. Project Completion Time Quick! It took a total of 4 months exactly to finish amsleeves, handpaws, a tail and feetpaws. 🙂 I never asked for an ETA and there was no rush. Items shipped two days after marked completion!
