Prior ExperienceNo, This is my first fursuit

Wear Time120+

Informed Maker of IssuesQUALITY
Multiple areas are falling apart at the seams. There are several obvious holes that have reopened since
delivery and as such, I’ve had to put away the suit.
• There is a hole on the shoulder
• There is a hole on thigh
• There are holes along the wings, inside the wings and outside
• The zipper is falling apart on the inside
• There is a hole along the sides of the body
• The zippers inside the thighs are falling apart
• There are several cuts in the suit that are present for some reason.
• The feet where never finished and sown shut – they are still open now and are unusable
There are more holes in this suit than Swiss cheese
DESIGN – FUR COLOURS
My ref sheet has 12 Colors comprising of:
• 3 Main colors, 1 Side Detailing Color,
• 1 Color for the beak and legs + 1 detailing color,
• Claw color
• Eyes + mouth.
That amounts to roughly 3 main furs (A dark fur, A medium fur and a light fur), 3 corresponding Minky furs
(for the wings + tail), 1 Minky for feet + beak (+ 1 detail Minky fur), 1 for claws and finally painted eyes.
• The suit in total has 3 different furs for the darkest fur (the back has different fur to the back of
the legs; the head has different fur to the back of the wings). This is incorrect.
• The tail is just one color, my ref sheet has 3. From light to dark.
• The fur pattern on the stomach/crotch uses medium color. On my ref, the body is all just light fur!
• The feet and the beak colors are two different Minky furs on the suit. They are one fur on my ref.
• The head is comprised of 2 different light color furs. Although this is partially my fault for linking a
piece of artwork that had white instead of tan as the eyebrows.
• The wings are also wrong, the medium Minky should be 10% of what it is on the current suit.
All of this could have been avoided by communicating furs before starting the commission!
DESIGN – FUR PATTERN
The fur pattern on my ref compared to the final suit is wrong.
• The fur pattern on the stomach is shaved. With a T pattern. I did not agree to this
• The tail pattern is wonky due to missing stitches.
• The wings are the wrong pattern. You again assumed a pattern/layout and threw it together. The
pillow pattern is nice, but it’s not the wings I wanted or match my ref.
DESIGN – DETAILS
There is just a ton of missing details on the suit that were present in the suit.
• The legs and feet are missing the patches on my ref.
• The wings are missing the dark color detail.
• I have a claw at the end of the wing. It’s not present in the final suit!
FEATURES – MISSING
• Hand escapes – This is the biggest and most missing feature on my original feature list. These
wings are just short enough to be annoying because you need to clench your hand into a fist
constantly. This causes cramping long term. The hole escape we made at NFC 2025 was a stop
gap measure that doesn’t really solve the major issue.
• Outdoor feet paws – Seriously. The feet are useless even indoors. They have no base support and
thus no way to reliably control them. They are floor draggers that easily get shredded and dirtied.

Overall

Initial ContactVery easy, i got a fairly decent response when i contacted them through telegram. However, i received no contract, no email receipt, no trace of anything other than a informal agreement and expected payment. I found this maker through word of mouth, then reviewed their website and gallery. The maker never asked for a DTD or measurements, i had the insist on one being sent.

Maker CommunicationPoor, very very poor. This maker at the start, took my initial payment and then had her telegram account suspended. I tried reaching out via other forms of communication but got blanked for a solid few months. It was only through connections was i able to find her alt telegram channel. Then from that point on, she had no communications on head updates until 2 weeks before the deadline of the head for NFC 2024. Of which her communication came in very fast and very abrupt with very little time to process changes or feedback. Then after the head was received and then sent back because of issues and feedback, the maker once again ghosted on communications until i had poked her every other month for updates. She then proceeded to rush job the full suit after missing the first deadline and once again provided lighting updates 2 weeks before the final deadline.

Project Completion Time1y 8m – 1 Deadline was missed, the head had to be returned because it was unfinished and overall the project was supposed to be completed by EF 2024 but was pushed to NFC 2025. I received the items at con and even then i received the items poorly and late.

Overall Project QualityBad. This suit was basically unusable at the start, it had to get repairs multiple times by a different maker. And even to this day, its a difficult suit to wear and manage. Wearing it indoors can be fine, wearing it outdoors is impossible. Sitting down in it is a risky move unless you want to blow open another hole. The wings make it difficult to bend your arms sometimes. Initially, there was no hand escapes, which meant my hands had to be clenched while wearing the suit. This often resulted in swollen fingers. Impromptu hand escapes needed to be cut just to stop hand cramps.

The head has glue in some of the fur, the eye holes are too big, you can see my eyes sometimes. The paint coloring in the eye line is badly painted on. The colors on the head are wrong, the pattern is wrong and eyebrows are wrong. The strap she placed inside the head is painful after long periods of wearing it. It presses against the back of your head hard. The heads only good quality is its easy to hold.

Getting in and out of the suit is horrible. Because the padding is poly fill, you fight against the tight entrance of the legs just to wear it. Cleaning it is also horrible. You need to take out all the poly fill, which is behind two awkwardly placed zippers. The seems inside the suit are glued together. GLUE!!. Seriously, it peals off sometimes when you rub against it. The other maker had to remove a bit of it just to fix some holes. When a hole was discovered at NFC upon pickup, the effort to get into the suit to repair it was staggering. A hole needed to be cut just to patch up the hole.

The feet are absolutely atrocious to get into. They had to get redone by the other maker just to get them to a 'working' condition, and even then there was only so much can be done.

The patterns everywhere are all wrong, the colors are all wrong, the suit is all wrong. This suit did not even meet my most basic expectations, its a suit, that's it, its not Aireul, its not even a good suit.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionAre you satisfied with how it fits you? Is it too tight or loose? Does anything poke you, stab you, or make it uncomfortable to wear?
The head was also not fitted properly initially, the head had to be taken back and adjusted. However, the adjustment made was just adding a strap inside it. The head strap is uncomfortable to wear, tight and generally pretty terrible overall.

If it is lined, what material was used? Does it absorb sweat appropriately? Does it make cleaning easier?
The lining was fine. No major issues there.

How is the ventilation? Can you breathe well? Is the mask stuffy? Does the air circulate through your head?
Bad, there was no provided fan and the mouth opening is restrictive to airflow

How is the vision? Can you see well in front of you? Is there a large blind spot? Do you have to turn your head to see? (Note: most suits do not have peripheral vision.)
Serviceable, However the mesh that was used for the eyes is too coarse. As a result, you can see my eyes really easily from a fair distance

Visual SatisfactionHow is the symmetry? Is anything lopsided? Are the markings symmetrical? Do they match the character design?
The symmetry was fine, the head generally is symmetrical on both sides.

Is the shaving even? Is it choppy? Can you see the backing? Is the transition between fur types and/or lengths what you were looking for?
The shaving is fine, there are a few odd looking patches, but nothing to complain about.

How does the material (e.g. fur) feel and look? Is it crunchy? Do the markings rub off or bleed? Is the fur able to be brushed or smoothed easily?
Fine

How satisfied are you with the expression and overall appearance of the head? Can you achieve varied expressions from different angles? Are the eyes follow-me or static?
I was not satisfied with the expression of the head. I originally asked for magnetic eyelids to make different expressions, however that was not provided. The eyebrows are static and non adjustable and the eyes are not follow me eyes.

Does it match the concept art? If the maker modified your design, are you happy with the outcome? (e.g. if markings were simplified or omitted.)
No, the eyebrows are the main focus of the head. Not being free flowing or standup has the design very different from my initial ref material.

One thing to note about the head was that the features, patterns and colors are all wrong compared to my refs i provided. The fursuit maker more or less went ahead with working on the head, asked me for input, then proceeded without my input. Making decisions that countered my original design. Also there was glue on the head fur….

One-Piece Body

Wear SatisfactionAre you satisfied with how it fits you? Is it comfortable to wear? Does it allow for good movement?
Mixed, Because the suit took so long to make, the body suit and the weight at the time of receiving it had changed. As such adjustments needed to be made. It is overall ok to wear, but it had bad movement due to the wing design.

How is the quality and durability? Are the seams durable? Can you move without popping seams?
BAD, very bad. This suit had a lot of seems popped before and after entering it. Many parts of the suit where reinforced with GLUE!!! and poor thread work.

What is the interior like? If there is a lining, what material is it? Does it absorb sweat appropriately? Does it make cleaning easier? (Note: most fursuits are not lined.)
Some parts are lined, others not. Overall lining is ok.

If there are construction marks on the inside, do they bleed on you or detract from the overall appearance?
There is many constructions marks. Bad cuts and glue on the fur. They do detract from the overall appearance.

How is the airflow? Does air flow easily through your costume/clothing or is it immediately stuffy and hot? (Note: all fursuits will be hot, but is this one unexpectedly more hot?)
Ok

Visual SatisfactionHow is the symmetry? Is anything lopsided? Are the markings symmetrical? Do they match the character design?
Fine

Is the shaving even? Is it choppy? Can you see the backing? Is the transition between fur types and/or lengths what you were looking for?
No shaving

How does the material (e.g. fur) feel and look? Is it crunchy? Do the markings rub off or bleed? Is the fur able to be brushed or smoothed easily?
Fine

How satisfied are you with the selection of colors and materials used? If there is any padding, does it create an appealing curve/shape?
Dissatisfied, the shape, pattern and colors are all wrong from the original design. For some reason there is a T shaped fur pattern along the stomach of the suit, when no such pattern exists on the ref. This continues all over the suit

Does it match the concept art? If the maker modified your design, are you happy with the outcome? (e.g. if markings were simplified or omitted.)
NO! No it does not. I have reviewed the suit vs the ref many times, and each time i see a new thing that is wrong. This is like a temu version of my expected suit.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionHow satisfied are you with how the tail(s) fit? Are they comfortable to wear? Do they allow for good movement? Can you put them on comfortably with ease?
Its grand. Generally its an ok tail. You can sit on it. However, the tail was not considered when the suit was built, as such holes needed to be cut into the suit in order for the belt to work.

How is the quality and durability? Are the seams durable? Can you move without popping seams or straps? Has anything (spikes, scales, etc.) fallen off? Can you pull on it without tearing? Are the straps secure and even?
Tail has a few popped seems and missing sown lines. Otherwise the tail operates fine.

If there is any padding or armature, does it look right and function correctly?
There is padding, but the tail is lobsided and does not look right.

Visual SatisfactionHow is the symmetry? Is anything lopsided? Are the markings symmetrical? Do they match the character design?
The tail is lobsided and does not look right. It curves upright.

Is the shaving even? Is it choppy? Can you see the backing? Is the transition between fur types and/or lengths what you were looking for?
Not shaven

How does the material (e.g. fur) feel and look? Is it crunchy? Do the markings rub off or bleed? Is the fur able to be brushed or smoothed easily?
Fine

How satisfied are you with the selection of colors and materials used? Do you like how they look and feel?
The colors are all wrong, the tail is too small and there is no pattern to it.

Does the tail move or act how you expected?
Sure

Does the tail match the concept art? If the maker modified your design, are you happy with the outcome? (e.g. if markings were simplified or omitted.)
The tail does not match the concept art. In fact this tail is just a basic 1 color tail when my tail in the ref has layers and patterns.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionAre you satisfied with how the feet fit you?
No

Are they comfortable to wear?
No

Do they allow for good movement?
No

Will your ankles show if you stretch too much?
Yes

Do they stay on your feet or do they slide off?
They slide off

Can you put them on comfortably with ease?
No

How is the quality and durability?
Bad, seems popped multiple times, because no underlining to protect the feet, you basically gather all dust and dirt from every floor.

Are the seams durable?
No

Can you move without popping seams?
No

Have paw pads, claws, or paint chipped or fallen off?
N/A

What is the interior like? If there is a lining, what material is it?
Polyfill + lining, loose fitting, no shoes, sock paws

Does it absorb sweat appropriately?
Yes

Does it make cleaning easier? (Note: most feet are not lined.)
No

Visual SatisfactionHow is the symmetry?
Good

Is anything lopsided?
Yes, without support the whole feet are lopsided

Are the markings symmetrical?
Yes – there is no markings, thats the problem… there is markings on my ref sheet.

Do they match the character design?
No

If there are claws, do they all face the correct direction?
No particularly, they are floppy.

Are the paw pads fleece, silicone, something else? If there are any claws, what are they made from? Are the feet hooves? Do you like how they look and feel? Do they get scratched easily? Has paint chipped off?
The colors do not match the ref sheet, the claws are sown not hard, i do not like the look and feel of these feet.

Do they match the concept art? If the maker modified your design, are you happy with the outcome? (e.g. if markings were simplified or omitted.)
No, these feet are all wrong and feel like an afterthought. I was not happy with the outcome.

RatingFursuitReview rates by asking the question:
Would you recommend this maker?

NO This review has been marked with a negative rating.
This means the reviewer would NOT recommend Pawsome Fursuits unless they significantly change their practices.

Final CommentsI would not recommend this maker at all. This suit was a rush job, poor design, wrong patterns, wrong colors wrong everything. This suit literally fell apart when worn initially at the con. I was so deeply disheartened by the quality of the suit upon receiving it both times that i refused to wear it for a period of the con. Not only that, when i had to take this home, i had to make a decision, put it in the corner of the room, return it to her or get it fixed myself. After having it sit in a corner for a period of time, i decided not to return it to her because of how bad the process was, that i instead sent it to another maker to get it fixed. I paid near 500 euro to have it repaired and brought up to some acceptable and wearable standard, all because i feared that even if she took it back, i'd never see it again.

This maker has a habit of biting off more than she can chew. She takes on dealers dens at cons, does fursuit making, runs in shows at cons and travels a lot. I dont think she takes the work she is being paid to do seriously. The rush jobs towards the ends of the deadline was the nail in the coffin for me. If she had communicated with me about being delayed or something reasonable, i would have understood and agreed to push out the deadlines. But she blanked me, several times over.

This maker also seems to have a massive commission queue, and I'm not sure how she manages it, i wouldn't be surprised if others have the same experience as me.

This maker tried to reach out to me to make good on my initial feedback to her. However, i was so deeply unsatisfied by the suit as a whole, i refused to give it back for a repair or replacement. She instead offered a refund to me, and said she would give it on a date. She has not given me the refund and has assumed that because I've worn it after paying to get it fixed by another maker, that i'm not eligible for a refund
