At first, contacting the maker on their Facebook page was easy. But the more days passed, the more it was DIFFICULT to contact them as they are NOT responsive at all times.
COMMUNICATION WAS SHIT! I'm sorry, but once your quote taken and all paid…its the VOID. The maker will NOT get back to you until its your turn, and even then, they can pass other commissions BEFORE yours. I was NEVER treated well when i waited 3 years for my suit. I always asked when it will be my turn, and the maker would say In X moths, or stay silent. I had to ask for communications on the maker's personal Facebook. They also had a ''secretary'' (which was the maker's mother) and even INSIDE the business, there was NO communications! The maker's mother wanted to charge me more for having feetpaws-hooves, which was completely stupid imo, since makers need to give an overall estimated based of the difficulty of you character. I also need to add, as of march 2022. I JUST KNOWN that the maker let me know that my slot was a refunded slot. I NEVER KNEW UNTIL THIS WEEKEND, AS OF MARCH 18-20, 2022!!! The maker has NO TRASPARENCY WHATSOEVER!!!! The communication with their customers are SO BAD!! They even disabled their Facebook comments, and their Instagram comments because they couldn't take the customers comments about how long their queue is. They don't even HAVE a public queue, or trello, THEY HAVE NOTHING!! So as a customer, you don't even know where you are in the list, their communication is shit…They give LAME excuses on why they don,t have a public queue. And as a past customer, ive been gaslighted ALOT because i refused to speak about FTW. But now, its time for me to be completely transparent with my review, and tell the absolute truth on their shitty practice. Their white knights will attack me, as well as the maker for speaking out! But at this point, i don't care! I've sold this suit because each time i wore it, i had a really bitter taste in my mouth of how bad I've been treated, and how bad the communication went. And like i said, as of 2022, its even worse, because i didn't knew that my slot was a refunded slot. Makers should let their customers KNOW of EVERYTHING!! Communication is key.
Honestly, it took TOO MUCH TIME to complete a fursuit. In 3 years of wait, my body changed A LOT. That's why they should close their commissions, but don't want to for lame excuses again. I also asked them if it was possible to complete my fursuit for FurnalEquinox 2017 and 2018, both of their ETA's were missed, with LAME excuses again, and false promises. Of course, the maker deleted every proof of our discussion. But this needed to come to light! How bad FTW treats their customers, with lame excuses, and letting them wait in the void with NO communications.
The quality overall is good! Despite having some issues with it, the fursuit is comfy to wear.
The only thing that made me mad when wearing the suit was the WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICES! But i will talk about it more in the next segment. And the paddings were so heavy for me. But i speak for myself for this, since i'm a small shape person! Other customers will say that the paddings are good, and its fine!
The fursuit head fits me perfectly. The head is lined, and comfy. The cleaning of the head is done amazingly. The only thing i have to say about it, is the poor used of material choices for the antlers, as they used 10 mm EVA foam, that has LED's in…which make the antlers go down with gravity. Ive let them know about the issue, but i'll had to pay for the replacement, which i didn't want to do because i've already had financial issues. The vision in it is okay. Its not THE best, but not the worse either. Ventilation is…kinda meh? Like the head fits you perfectly but i feel like they could use some holed to make the ventilation better. The head is lined, but i used a balaclava inside just to be sure. The head has leds, on the antlers and in the eyes, and let me tell you that, once the space is REALLY dark, and i turn on the leds, i cannot see ANYTHING with the leds on. This is a known issue, but again, i will have to pay to replace them. So i let them as they are. Also, the shaving on the head looks like it have been rushed, since ive spotted some shaving done too close to the plastic of the fur…and its bad!
The only thing i really don't like about it, i don't know, the nose is weird. The cat ears are too much behind the head, and overall, the head looks weird. The antlers are the thing that frustrates me the most, because i had to put an elastic for it to be looking good visually. Otherwise, i don't even know why, but the antlers would separate and look weird. The hair is weird looking too, not gonna lie. I've kept it to myself for it to change because i would have to pay AGAIN for them to redo the hair, and i'm getting tired to ''pay'' to have something at my own taste, especially when i've paid a good amount of money already for it…
Overall, the bodysuit is comfy. The padding tho…yikes. Its so freaking heavy for my 4'9'' in body. The padding is what made me frustrated. The padding is separated, meaning that i need to remove it, was it so hard to sew it directly? Ive seen nots of makers doing this. The thighs paddins are the worse, heavy for absolutely nothing imo. QUality speaking, i havent had any issues, and thats a first because ive hears lots of stories with friends commissioning this maker, and having to sew some holes upon wearing them 1 time. But i guess im blessed with this? The interior has NO lining. But i've bought a underarmour to go with, since the fabric directly on my skin would have made some rashes. The airflow is okay. In the same time, its a fursuit, and its meant to be hot lol.
Visually speaking, it looks good. Of course i had to alter her markings a bit for the makers to be able to sew them correctly. The look is good!
The hands are really comfy! They're good movement speaking and overall so good looking. The quality is good! Durability speaking…eh…sometimes the hooves would come undone and i had to sew them back, but its not a big deal, i know how to sew them back! The interior is not lined sadly. The fabric is directly on your skin, but its not a very big deal.
Visually speaking, the hooved fingers are sewn crooked like. I don't know how to explain this, but the finders look so crooked on pictures and visually, its weird. Shaving is good, since its beaver!
The tail is amazing, despite using fur for belt loops??? They just use fur for the belt loops, and having to solidify the seams of it, because lots of their past customers (or even current) have lots of undone seams. So better be safe than sorry, ive solidified them, since then, no issues!
The tail look good, amazing choice of colors! The white tip was not a good idea from me LOL. Because the white tip was always coming brown because of outside or inside grounds. But at least, the maker gave me some kind of ''diaper'' for me to put on the tip, and it worked perfectly!
The feet were the most annoying thing. Upon commissioning FTW, ive let them know that i wear women 8. But i've waited soooo long, that my feet changed, and i wore women 91/2. Upon receiving my fursuit, ive let them know about the feetpaws issue, and they've guilt tripped me for my feet. They told ''If you want us to change them, its fine, but the interior will not look clean'' okay?? Can you make myself another pair since you're taken SO MUCH TIME? But obviously NO, i would have to pay for them…A G A I N. My fursuit costed me so much already…your job is to make sure the customer will be satisfied with it…URGH!! So they had to alter the interior and the fabric inside is weird looking. But after the modifications, they were confier. Also, the plastic thing they use to make outdoor feetpaws ARE THE WORST SHIT USED!! We live in canada, meaning we have winters. Wearing the feetpaws on snow is FREAKING DANGEROUS!!!! My boyfriend bought FTW feetpaws in 2018-2019 (i dont remeber exactly when) and i had to make sure that he can walk perfectly with his, since the feetpaws on snow are VERY VERY slippery!! Its really dangerous ngl!!
Visually, outside, they're amazing. But inside, the fabris way too loose, i feel like they rushed to repair mine. Of course, they have a LOOOONG queue, and repairing fursuit while making others, repairs are rushed. But at least, they're comfy? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The fur is soft, since its beaver and long fur used.
I also have Armsleeves. They have the same markings as the bodysuit, and its comfy to wear. I had to alter the markings for the makers, it was easier to sew.
