Initial ContactI contacted the maker on FurAffinity and was immediately met with a quote and payment plan proposal. The initial commission was very easy to handle.

Maker CommunicationThe communication with the maker throughout the commissioning process was terrible. I was constantly ghosted, deadlines were not being met and flat out lies were being told about the completion and progress of my fursuit commission. I was not consistently updated on my suit's progress until 3 years after it was started. I had to ask about a refund because progress was so slow, and that was when I started getting consistent updates. I was greeted with rude and disrespectful comments constantly for asking for updates once or twice every few weeks. I was also told about features of the suit that never happened and had to be fixed by myself. Many blatant lies and empty promises were given consistently.

Project Completion TimeMy project took far too long to be completed. I was given legitimate reasons for the initial project delays, which were completely okay. However, after this hurdle was crossed and long gone, progress was still halted and I was left in the dark on what was going on. I was initially expected to receive my fursuit at several different deadlines and those deadlines were surpassed by several years. Conventions, holidays and birthdays were promised and were never met with 0 communication as to why. When my suit was finally completed, my maker requested $300 for shipping. I made the decision to pick up the fursuit from his household. I was once again met with unprofessionalism and lies about what was done compared to what was promised and seeing the truth in person. When I addressed these issues, I was met with rude comments and endless hours of repairing the commission.

Overall Project QualityI am very unsatisfied with what I received. After waiting over 4 years, I received a good looking, terrible quality fursuit that did not meet the expectations or promises that were presented. The tail dragged, the wings were not structurally sound, the bodysuit was too short, the feet are very difficult to put on and the maker willingly and knowingly used yellowed fur on major parts of the head and bodysuit. When I requested for the standards to be met, I had to fix all of the problems on my own time with my own materials.

Wear SatisfactionThe head is very comfortable. Her vision and ventilation is good as well compared to other fursuit heads I have worn .It fit very well, despite my large head size. The air circulates well and I can breathe quite easily. The sequined lycra is itchy but is cured by wearing a balaclava.

Visual SatisfactionThis head was of decent quality. Her fur was soft, the eyes had plenty of detail and life to them. The shaving was minimal but well done. She has a great expression and look. When the head was received, the neck fur was quite yellow compared to the white fursuit head. I ended up replacing this fur with a white fur that matched the head.

One-Piece Body

Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit fits well. The fur quality was good as well. However, after addressing the issue about the neck fur not matching, I discovered the chest fur was also made of the same yellowed fur. I addressed this issue with the maker and was told to "fix it myself". The scales on the belly were well made out of minky and breathe pretty well. The wings were well made but terribly attached to the body, several seams pop every time I wear her. They flop and are barely hanging on to the body suit. Repairs still need to be made and were not attempted to be fixed by the maker. When I arrived to pick up my suit from the maker, the legs were way too short and also had to be completely repaired.

Visual SatisfactionThe bodysuit looks great. It didn't fit very well due to the duct tape dummy being several years old once it was used. I asked if I needed to send another duct tape dummy and was told I do not need to. It breathes well and fits okay at best on me. It looks almost exactly like my reference. The only major visual issue was the yellowed fur on the chest.

Wear SatisfactionHer hand paws are very very comfortable and look great. The durability is very good and they have lasted me very well since I got them. No complaints on the hands at all.

Visual SatisfactionOnce again, the hands were the only part of the suit I have 0 complaints about. Great fur, great quality, very comfortable.

Wear SatisfactionThe tail had a lot of issues from the get-go. It was over 6 feet long total and was supposed to curl upwards to minimally touch the floor. However, when the suit was received, the tail dragged heavily on the floor and had no support. It puts a lot of strain on the body suit due to it just being filled with several boxes of polyfil. I addressed the problem with the maker and was once again told to "solve it myself". After several weeks of testing, sewing and experimenting, I fixed the tail so it no longer drags. The tail also has foam scales on the bottom that ripped and had popped seams after wearing the fullsuit only a few times.

Visual SatisfactionThe tail looks accurate to my reference but has many structural issues. A lot of the scale foam has ripped after only wearing the suit a handful of times. Good idea but terrible execution and no quality or durability.

Wear SatisfactionI was very accommodated when I requested a way to wear my feet while not straining my back. They are a large foam boot from my knees down with shoes inside. They fit well and the quality is also pretty good. The lining was a weird material that clings to my socks and underarmor, which makes them hard to put on and take off, but they look good and fit pretty well.

Visual SatisfactionThese feetpaws were perfect as far as appearance goes. They looked exactly like they were supposed to and fit the style of the suit so well. The shaving was great and the fur quality was good as well.

Final CommentsIn conclusion, please do not commission this maker. You will be met with unprofessionalism, empty promises, blatant lies and possibly one of the worst commissioning experiences you will ever have. I hope this review will help things make a change in a better direction for the maker, as well as make people aware of what to expect.
