Overall

Initial ContactIn around 2020-2021, I made friends with someone who, at the time, was affiliated with OFA. We spoke for a while and I told them once a slot is available to let me know and I'll immediately provide a downpayment. I stuck to my word, and they did as well, and that’s how I entered the queue.
A few months into the queue they cut ties with OFA. I wasn't familiar with anyone else on the team, and I suspect this may have been the start of the communication issues I had. This setup – one where I was able to wait until a slot opened to provide a downpayment – was something that should not have happened and I should not have accepted. This likely pushed others around in the queue instead of rightfully filling their empty slot with an existing customer. I apologize to any OFA customers still waiting for their commissions.

The initial conversations were quite quick due to knowing someone at the studio. They cut ties with OneFurAll quite shortly after I officially joined the queue, and the majority of my time in the queue was spent without them there.

Maker CommunicationI want to start out by saying the new helper in the studio – Roxy – had been good, and had been consistently responding to my messages. I just want to put this front and centre because I can imagine things were frustrating being the new communications person. Thanks Roxy!

Overall, I was extremely unsatisfied with communication.
To highlight a number of issues:
Communication was between email and telegram, and switched consistently. They also handed over communication to someone else halfway through my time in the queue, which caused some issues.
I did not feel like I was treated well, and I felt like they were blaming me for their overtime and rushed head.
To highlight a couple of examples:
– They ghosted me and didn't respond to messages between July and October 2023
– They only started actually responding to me after I threatened a refund in January 2024.
– I was consistently the one to message first. If I didn't message, I rarely heard back.
– They forgot the blue on the nose ridge on the first version of the head. I asked what happened and they said they thought it wouldn't look good with the 3d printed nose they made, so they removed it, but they forgot to tell me that in an email because they were rushed to finish the head.

Project Completion TimeI was very unsatisfied with project completion time. Nothing was started on time, and they missed two deadlines past when I said I wanted a refund or a deadline.
Due to their poor communication, I demanded a refund in January of 2024 if they could not give me a deadline. They gave me a deadline of July 2024.
The first deadline of July 2024 was supposed to be for the fullsuit, but they only ended up shipping me a very rushed head, and hands and tail. The head was shipped back to them in order for them to make me a brand new one due to how poor it fit and how it didn't match the artwork.
The second deadline came from them; they said they'd have the fullsuit completed by august 2024 at the latest. They also forgot they told me this..
The new head and the fullsuit was delivered the first day of Fur-Eh 2025, one full year after the original completion deadline.

Overall Project QualityOverall, I think the suit looks very good and visually it's what I expected and wanted from OnefurAll.
The head is gorgeous, and the jaw movement is amazing.
The bodysuit is clean and the wings are striking.
The feet are exceptionally comfortable and the handpaws are perfectly serviceable (I really asked for nothing much for the handpaws so this is a positive).
Had it not been for the plethora of communication issues, delays, and the issues with the first version of the head, I'd have said the suit could be worth the price I paid for it. There were a couple of minor issues, some seams popping, and the crunchy airbrushing, but overall I do love it.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head fits me very well. I can move the jaw with ease and see clearly. It's heavy, so it is a little bit tiresome to wear.
The inside is unlined and uses thin foam strips to aid comfort. It's relatively easily cleanable. I sweat a lot in this thing because of the weight.
The ventilation is okay[./i] It does have a built-in fan, and I find I more or less HAVE to have the fan running in order to be comfortable in it. Else it gets stuffy.
The vision is great. The central blindspot is quite small. The only real issue in this regard is that there's no room for my glasses, but this was expected.
The headphone prop fits very well on the head.

Visual SatisfactionThe first head:
The first one was delivered in July of 2024, and was very disappointing.
It did not fit, nor did it match the concept art.
With the way these heads are built, there was a very solid plastic bar along the bottom that was digging into my neck. Between that, and the bridge sitting directly on my nose, I felt unsafe wearing it for extended periods of time. I communicated this to them the day I got it.
On top of this, they also forgot the blue nose marking, which I specifically asked for when discussing the design of the character. This frustrated me, as this was the ONLY revision I asked for when they sent me the original design. I asked them about it and they said they meant to tell me they thought the blue mark wouldn't look good with the 3D printed nose they put on the suit, but they forgot to email me before committing. Visually, there were a lot of issues with shaving, things just looked messy. I wasn’t happy at all with this outcome.
The maker and I communicated and tried to resolve the fit, but it didn't work. Between the fitting issues and the lack of proper markings, they ended up taking this head back and making me a new one.
First head

The updated head:
The head looks fantastic. The markings are symmetrical and the updated head matches the character design.
The shaving is mostly good. I can notice a couple of lines here and there but overall it's pretty smooth.
The airbrushed portions are crunchy and very uncomfortable to touch. If I try to move any of the fur where the airbrushing is, I can see where the airbrush color did not reach the underlayers of fur. The hair tuft sheds quite a bit but otherwise it's cute.
The expression and appearance are fantastic. I like how much I can emote with it.
The updated head matches everything and after they resolved the issues I'm happy with the final product.

Comparison of First vs. Updated Head

One-Piece Body

Wear SatisfactionThe bodysuit fits me relatively well. The legs are slightly tight, so I have a little bit of limited range in bending. I'm impressed how well it fits considering they only use measurements and not a DTD.
The upper half fits well, but because of the wings, there is limited upward motion for the arms.
The majority of the seams have been okay so far, but I had to repair two completely popped seams in the neck after the first weekend of wear. I am concerned I'll start finding more quickly.
There is nothing wrong with the interior.
The airflow is pretty okay. The weight of the wings – as expected – makes it slightly cumbersome but it's pretty good considering how much extra heft it has.
The two side zippers are hidden by a flap of fur that snaps together with little magnet snaps. This is mostly okay, but the top two snaps don't quite fit properly and very frequently come undone. Since they're bright white against blue fur, they do stand out in photos quite a bit.

Visual SatisfactionThe bodysuit is gorgeous. The wings are huge and they really have a striking design on them.
The symmetry is good, and I see no issues in the fut.
The material is nice, and there is nothing wrong with any of the markings on the bodysuit.
I asked for a small amount of padding just to make it feel a bit more animalistic and they did exactly that. There's slight padding in the thighs and the ankles to slightly change the shape. I'd almost argue it's plantigrade, but there is a nice amount of padding.

My one issue with the bodysuit is the comically large tail hole. The tail is a belt loop tail, and the hole is basically the entire size of the tail, with nothing to cover any extra space or any significant reinforcement. I'm concerned it is just going to rip at some point.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe hands are comfortable. They are five-fingered which I like a lot. The pads are a nice fabric. There is not much padding in them to speak of so they lay pretty flat and I have good dexterity.

Visual SatisfactionVisually the handpaws look as I expected. Everything is acceptable here.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail is a belt loop tail with a very nicely reinforced belt loop. I like how it fits.

Visual SatisfactionThe tail is very nice. The zigzag design on it is a nice touch, and it stands out against the rest of the body.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionThe feet are easily the most comfortable fursuit feet I've ever worn. The movement is fantastic. Nothing shows. They don't slide off but they're really easy to slide on. There is no shoe in them, so it's just memory foam, and it conforms to my feet perfectly. I love these.

Visual SatisfactionVisually, the feet are exactly as I expected. The claws are cute, the furs are nice.

Special FeaturesWINGS:
The wings are massive, and extend about a foot out from my hands. They are made with pockets for PVC bones that keep the structure. The pipes are inserted through a small zipper at the end of the bodysuit's wrist. They're easy to take out for washing and storage, and equally easy to install.

HEADPHONE PROP:
I also commissioned a 3d-printed prop set of headphones I could put on the suit. We worked together on the design of them and I love how they sit on the head. They're very cute.

RatingFursuitReview rates by asking the question:
Would you recommend this maker?

NO This review has been marked with a negative rating.
This means the reviewer would NOT recommend One Fur All Studios unless they significantly change their practices.

Final CommentsWhile the introduction of Roxy to the team certainly helped communication, I cannot in good conscience recommend OneFurAll as a maker. The lack of professionalism and issues with timing and reliability made for an overall negative experience. Though I was eventually able to get a suit I was satisfied with, the overall service was unacceptable.

I’m happy to answer more questions on Telegram under the name JezzaBat. I wanted to highlight my experience in a matter-of-fact way. There are sincere positives to the look and feel of the suit , and clearly communications are being worked on. I do believe they are actively trying to improve their business. This isn’t meant to only be a negative review or a beware; I mean to warn others about their current queue times, communication issues and general lack of professionalism, in the hopes that they DO improve and folks can be satisfied with their service again.

Thank you so much for reading. I appreciate it.

  1. hey everyone, it’s Jezza!
I’ve been given permission to include a more detailed document in the comments. I wrote this up as a matter of fact review of OFA and my experience with them. I’m so happy they’re actively improving their communication, but there is a bit of a ways to go in that regard. the suit is ultimately quite lovely, and I hope we continue to see communication improvement from them 🙂
