It was very easy for me to contact them about the price, I just messaged them on Instagram and showed them my reference sheet and they found all the Furs and gave me a price very quickly. They responded within the day or faster and I never had to wait long for a response.
Throughout the commission process the communication of this Maker only got worse. Initially they were really good at responding quickly and answering my questions but as it went on they started responding less and less and I had to start sending multiple messages for them to even respond within a week. There were some times where they would leave my messages on read and wouldn't respond until I bumped the message multiple times. There were also times where they would swap from one social media to another chatting app with no warning so I would receive no updates and no messages until I send them multiple messages to which they would tell me to contact them on telegram or Instagram depending on the time. I contacted them mostly through Instagram throughout the commission process but there was one point where I had to message them on telegram or else they would not respond. I received very little commission updates with photos, I mainly saw photos of the bodysuit after they were nearly done. I saw pictures of the feet paws when they were first being worked on and they looked good but then I didn't really see much unless I asked them multiple times to see pictures of it.
Compared to lots of other makers I would say that this bodysuit was completed in a decent amount of time, it took about 6 months but with all of the completion dates that they promised and made it feel a lot longer. I haven't gone back and totally checked but I would say that they promised my body suit would be done between 4-5 different times and every single one was passed until Denver. Each date that was passed I was given a different excuse as to why it wasn't done and they said it was really close to being done but then the next time I saw pictures of it it would not even look close. There were a lot of times where they said oh it would be done next week a little be done at this time and it would never happen. The maker was barely able to finish it for Denfur and had a friend deliver it to me at con and the bodysuit was squished into the smallest suit case possible when it was brought to me so many parta were deformed and I had to work with them to make them look normal padding wise.
I'm disappointed by the experience that I had with this maker, I feel like the experience I had made the final Commission seem even more disappointing. I told the maker I was satisfied with what I received, but I did make sure to mention all of the problems that I had found first wear. As I have continued to wear the bodysuit I have only found more problems, so I feel that what I paid isn't truly what the bodysuit was worth. There have been a lot of things on the bodysuit that I have had to fix myself, and a lot of things that can't be fixed myself that I would need to pay a more experienced major to fix that I just leave alone. I do want to commission someone else for a body suit just because I don't feel this one fits what I wanted or what I asked for completely. This bodysuit didn't meet my expectations of being a slim Digi, I never received any of the freebies that they said I would be receiving. The wrist cuffs that they said were a freebie should have been included in the price given that they were mentioned to be not optional to my design and I was expecting them to be with my bodysuit. I would have been a lot more upset if they had said that the wrist cuffs were included and what I paid for, but instead they said that it was a freebie. I have recently commissioned another maker to do her wrist cuffs instead. The incorrect markings that were placed also make this commission very disappointing and could have been avoided by just sending me more update pictures throughout the whole process so that I could correct anything that looked wrong. On a better note, the bodysuit I feel is very cute. They did a good job at a nice Digi shape and the pause and bottom of the feet paws are very cute. For the markings that they actually did correctly they look pretty nice. Some of the seems are very nicely done and are strong and durable While others could pop open at any moment and I've had to fix them. They're shaving job is pretty good in most places. Some places look a bit rough but most of the bodysuit looks clean.
Bodysuit is generally comfortable, definitely gets hot very easily but that's to be expected. My biggest problem is the feet, there is not padding for you to walk on so the only thing separating the bottom of my foot and the floor is just the fur in the lining of the Paw. Even the pair of sock Paws that I have from another maker are more comfortable to wear because they have a sheet of Foam for me to walk on instead of just walking straight on the floor basically. The suit has a lot of padding so it's hard to walk around which is a little disappointing because when I initially commissioned this maker I requested that it be a slim Digi while it ended up being just normal digi. Overall the biggest problem is definitely the feet, I honestly don't like wearing the bodysuit just because it hurts to walk around when I have no padding for my feet. The bodysuit started developing holes almost as soon as I received it. The zipper started detaching from the body, which is something that I showed the maker after my first wear. There were also some markings that were placed wrong or shaped incorrectly, which I also mentioned to the maker. So far the bodysuit has held up pretty well but it's still developed a lot of holes within the first wear. I found probably four or five holes the first time I wore it and as I've been wearing it more I just find even more holes. I've had my friend so up my footpaw at Texas furry Fiesta because it popped a hole. Cleaning the bodysuit is somewhat difficult, to wash it I have to remove all of the stuffing from the feet through a small hole in the lining that they left for that purpose. When I washed it recently it took me about an hour to restuff the feet paws because the hole was so small and I could barely reach the end of my feet Paws to make them look correct with the stuffing. I also had to add additional stuffing because there was so much extra room in the lining for the paws.
Overall I felt pretty satisfied with how the bodysuit looks, though they messed up a few markings such as the dark gray marking on her hip. They are supposed to continue to her back but they just made a small circle that sits on her hip. I mentioned this and they said that they could fix it, but I decided not to send it back to them for all the problems that I found just because I was so afraid that I would never see the bodysuit again. There were some markings that hadn't been trimmed either and I trimmed them myself because there were long pieces of fur that made the markings look weird after I brushed them. Throughout the whole building process I really only saw a few pictures of the markings before they were completely placed in stone so I wasn't really able to direct their placements other than seeing what they had drawn on the duct tape dummy.
My character wears a pair of leather wrist cuffs that were said to be included in my commission as a quote freebie, though when I first received my bodysuit they were never completed. I never actually ended up receiving these at all, they said they would have them done soon after I received the bodysuits but months went by and I never got anything. There was one point when they said they had completed the first suit sandals that they were going to be making for me, the day came that they said they would be shipping them out and then that night I messaged him asking for the tracking number and they said that they never actually sent them out and that they wouldn't be able to for a while so I told them just not to worry about making the Cuffs or the sandals so that I could find someone else to work with.
