Head

Wear Satisfaction

Head has amazing ventilation and FANTASTIC vision, honestly the best vision in a suit I’ve ever worn. The head is massive though, does not fit and moves around a LOT. Head is extremely disproportionate to my body even with the body- the head is flat on the back side of it and there are holes in the muzzle, glue spots, and visible seams- some beginning to pop even with gentle wearing. Exposed foam on the head and overall is just way too big, patchy uneven shaving and the backing of the cheap fur is visible on multiple spots.

Visual Satisfaction

The suit markings are symmetrical but the shaving is not, the brown fur is nice but the white and black is very cheap and rough to the touch. A bit disappointed overall but I do still love her.

Body

Wear Satisfaction

The body is extremely comfortable and form fitting. The arms, however, are MASSIVE and crinkle up, the zipper is visible but that’s not a big issue. When the bodysuit arrived there was no tail hole which was a tad irritating. Overall i think the body is my favorite part of the suit except for the arms (i can fit my leg in them)

Visual Satisfaction

The body looks good other than the arms. The marking on the back is very asymmetrical and wonky looking but the stripes on the arms and thighs look great. I don’t like that the zipper is visible but there’s not much you can do about that i assume. Backing of the fur is visible on all white spots on the suit. The white goes all the way up to my shoulders which doesn’t exactly match my concept art.

Hands and Feet

Wear Satisfaction

Hands and feet are comfortable, i cant grab anything in my paws but its because they’re padded. Feet are built off of crocs so they’re comfy but they feel like a larger size than i stated. Some seams are starting to show and the feet are loud and squeaky when i walk in them

Visual Satisfaction

The claws on the feet look massive like monster feet, but other than that my only complaint is the type of fur used- very rough and you can see the back of the fur on ALL of these parts- and the toes are very flat and look more like hooves with claws.

Tails

Wear Satisfaction

Tail is very thick and bouncy, comfy to wear but the elastic wore out quickly.

Visual Satisfaction

Tail looks good but the same craft fur was used on it and its rough.

Overall

Product Satisfaction

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Some of the markings are off, mostly the belly spot and the back marking. The head doesn’t match up with the body due to the weird way the white tummy spot was put on. The head is massive compared to everything else, arms are extremely baggy.

Overall Project Quality
No, cheap fur was used when i asked and paid for luxury shag. The head and hands were an obvious rush job for MFF. I feel like my suit will fall apart after a year.

Purchase Process

Initial Contact
Easy, was recommended by a friend she replied quickly in the beginning

Maker Response Time
HORRIBLE, was left on read and ignored more times than I can count, maker was constantly pushing my suit back and would post-block me on Facebook.

Maker Professionalism
Extremely unprofessional, ignores customers, takes multiple vacations and pushes suits back, ignores deadlines after agreeing to them.

Project Completion Time
Queue was much longer than I was informed of. I was told my suit would be done for MFF in late November, mini partial was done for MFF and then missed multiple deadlines afterwards and shipped bodysuit and feet later after missing 3 other deadlines. I kept getting pushed back in queue and ignored. Shipped late the last time and asked for priority shipping but was not sent via priority or through the company I asked for. Suit was shipped via Estafeta after I asked for DHL

Rating FursuitReview rates by asking the question:

NO

This review has been marked with a negative rating.
This means the reviewer would NOT recommend Pyrope Costumes unless they significantly change their practices.

Final Comments
Maker was friendly at times, I felt bad for complaining or asking for changes because the blame was pinned on me. Poor communication, ignores customers and does rush jobs. This maker could be amazing if she put in more effort and cared about her customers.

Comments

  1. Woah, I was planning to get a partial from Pyrope, but after seeing so many complaints I’m glad I switched to another maker. The worst part it’s that I see so many people paid for luxury fur and get cheap craft fur instead :/

    BTW hyenas aren’t canines ^^U
