Prior ExperienceNo, this is my first Fursuit, but I did order paws before, so I have experience with commissioning suit makers.

Wear Time15+ hours

Informed Maker of IssuesYes, I did come to my maker with the issues I had during the commission process itself, but I was blocked on every one of their platforms soon after the suit was sent out to me so I can no longer contact the maker about the rest of the issues I have with the suit.

Overall

Initial ContactInitial contact was very easy at first, I asked if their commissions were open on Instagram, they said yes, and we agreed to a 50% pre-pay plan. I sent over 505$ the first day, and we agreed that I would send the rest of the payment once everything was finished. Sadly, month after month passed, was never spoken to on Instagram after that, so I found their email, and they told me they do most talking on Telegram now, so we then spoke there, and once again I was ghosted for about the entire time within the 3 year wait, no progress till I talked about it online, and finally my head and paws were done months later, my maker asked me if it was fine for them to send the head and paws together first so they can send the rest later after that, so I agreed. I then received my head and paws and spoke out a bit about how bad their business practices are since they were taking in even more new commissions and I wanted to make sure people were informed (at this time their queue had over 120 people in it), and then I was instantly blocked from all platforms, removed from all chats, and my suit was never finished. So, I couldn't even send the rest of the money. And now they blame me, the customer, for not paying for what I originally paid for, even though, we agreed to send the rest once the suit was finished, and I already paid for it.

Maker CommunicationCommunication was absolutely awful, I've commissioned many people before, and I do this job myself with art, so I understand how it goes. And with this maker, sadly I was never really ever talked to. On Instagram when I commissioned, as soon as payment was done, they never got back to me till I contacted them through email. And even then, once we were on Telegram, after that initial contact, I was ghosted for over a year. As a maker with a business, you are supposed to update the customers, and talk to them, the customer shouldn't have to always ask for updates without answer, even then when you get an answer, sadly you are once again ghosted for a few days, and no progress gets made. For me to get my suit even done, I had to ask for updates, and almost every time, there was none, and deadline after deadline was passed (had about 5 deadlines in total within the years). And sadly, with the language barrier it was a little harder to understand things, but the biggest issue was the constant ghosting and lies about updates and WIPs never being sent unless I asked. Even then, most of the WIPs, were not mine, and were other people's commissions being sent to me just so I didn't ask for anymore in the moment. It was very upsetting. And I was noticing this pattern after a while. Thankfully though, my suit got made, sadly only because I pushed them to do so, since there was no progress at all till, I started asking for updates.

Project Completion TimeThe completion time is the saddest part. I waited almost 4 years for a Mini Partial and was told in their TOS that there was a 3-month completion time. And of course, that was not true. That TOS has now been changed, but it still displays a short completion time I believe, and that's very misleading. If I knew my suit would take over 3 years to (barely) be completed, I would have not commissioned in the first place. There was also, many deadlines for my suit such as her supposedly having to be done on, Oct 2021, Dec 2023, June 2024 etc. And within all those dates, my suit had zero progress. And basically, nothing was communicated. I was kind of just left there waiting, in several Trello queues (there are 8 in total) only finding out they existed through other customers, waiting to be moved in up the queue. And when it comes to the shipping, thankfully she took only 2 weeks to get here, but just trying to get the tracking from this maker was awful, they said they would send it multiple times, even said they sent my head out without giving the tracking, but as soon as I got it that day and read what it displayed, it said it was sent out 3 days after they said it was sent out. So, I was once again lied to. And scammed, because after this, I was removed, blocked, and I have not been able to communicate to them ever since. Even then though, doesn't seem like they want to communicate, since according to them, even with proof, it is all lies.

Overall Project QualityOverall, I am happy with how the suit looks, but I am very dissatisfied with the quality, the several years long wait, the terrible communication with the maker, the ghosting from the maker, and the fact that this suit was supposed to be a Mini Partial with sleeves, and all I have received was a head, and paws. The head looks nice yes, but the experience that came with it was terrifying and very stressful to deal with. I did pay for a Mini Partial with sleeves to be made, but as soon as my head and paws were done, they were sent out, I was promised to receive updates for my sleeves, but after I spoke out about my experience, I was blocked on every platform for my criticism. This maker did not make my sleeves, or tail that I paid for, and I have confronted this problem online but sadly instead of taking accountability for their actions, I was publicly berated on their platform. They made up a lot of lies about me and a lot of other customers who have criticized their bad business practices, even though we have proof of said things, but sadly not many of our issues get recognized since they've got a large following. And honestly, I'm very scared that they will scam more people, and I am really hoping more people speak up about this, and their experiences with them, especially since their queue is over 130+ customers long. Now to talk about when I physically got the suit, a lot of her piercings were broken, was probably just the shipping so it's fine, but the quality dipped from there. On day 3 of having my suit, I put her on for quick photos, and as soon as I was done, I opened the mouth a bit to breathe, and one of the bottom fangs, twisted off. These fangs are 3D printed, and they told me and everyone else who commissioned the plastic was super strong, but sadly I guess not, since my tooth broke off with a simple movement. I also took a photo of this which is displayed in my review. The bottom jaw was also not even glued down. So, I had to fix both issues myself with hot glue. The eyelids are also really bad quality, and those are also shown in this review, the magnets are very weak, and had to be replaced, so I could properly wear them and put them on. And like I said with the paws, they are not very well sewn, the claws are loose, and they have had about 3+ seams pop, just from two uses. It seems that the suit is very sensitive, and can be damaged very easily, so I try to be careful with it, and baby it as much as I can now. I'm very glad she is here though, nonetheless. Even though she got damaged. And isn't too high quality.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe suit itself feels really good. I've never owned a Fursuit head before but for a first ever experience it was really nice to be able to wear it comfortably. I can also see very well in suit, vision is great! Paws are also comfortable, and unlined, very dexterous with my finger movement. But yeah, overall, the suit feels great to wear around, and I can breathe perfectly fine in it. My only negative with it would be how the head strap inside hurts a bit after a while. Sadly though, after a few days of wear, the head began to fall apart in quality.

Visual SatisfactionVisually the head looks absolutely beautiful, but there are a lot of mistakes with the design of the character that I asked to be added and sadly those details aren't there. The ears were supposed to have black tufts on the tips of them but were never added, so I had to add them myself, the marks under her eyes are very uneven the symmetry is pretty bad, the fur feels fine, shaving is good, her expression is good, maker also forgot to add muzzle padding I asked for to shape it and make it soft, she was also supposed to have a thicker bottom lip, and big fluff around her cheeks like I asked for, but never got added. All these things I did indeed ask for, even sent photos describing as I wanted it, but after the WIPs were sent, because of the 3 and a half year wait I just wanted it to be over with so I didn't ask for the changes to be made since it would have taken too long for them to be redone. The eye mesh is also kind of badly printed on, paint is smeared, but you can only notice it up close so it's fine.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe paws feel really nice as I said before. But the quality and durability are very questionable, I barely ever wear the paws themselves, only for photos twice, and the seams are already going loose, one popped open on one of the paw pad areas sadly, so I had to sew it back up myself. The claws are also plastic, and are sewn in so loosely I can flick them and they'll wiggle like a dangling worm on a string, I also have a second pair of paws to compare these two with plastic claws as well, and the other pair (these ones were from a separate maker) had them secure in the paws, no wiggling, no loose sewn strings, they are sewn inside, and glued to make sure they stay secure in the paws. So sadly, I feel like I can't wear them without the seams undoing, or a claw falling off, so I mostly don't wear em, I'm way too scared of them falling apart.

Visual SatisfactionThe paws themselves do look nice. They match my character which is great too and thankfully no details were forgotten. I just wish the claws weren't so badly sewn on, because they look like they are dangling.

Final CommentsTo sum this all up, I am incredibly sad, and disappointed. Back when I originally commissioned, suits seemed like they were being completed left and right, but I suppose that wasn't really true since there are people who have been waiting even longer than I have, some even 5-6 years still in queue with no progress being done. These bad business practices really need to be talked about in our community more, especially when it comes to huge makers such as this one. It's so sad to see and experience this artist mess up this bad and take all criticism so personally they trash their customers publicly for it. All we want is accountability to be taken, but instead we are being thrashed around like we are worthless, and that is not okay. I really hope this maker gets better in the long run, stops taking in new commissions, sticks to making profit from premades and gets everyone's suits done without scamming them. But to do that, accountability needs to be taken, and that's all everyone wants, I do not want to see this business fail. And it deeply saddens me to give this a negative review, because I originally wanted to order from them more before all this happened, but it is the truth, and I am tired of hiding it. I really do hope things get better, and I appreciate the friends I have made during this situation, but it is not okay to trash them like this maker has been doing lately on social media, especially since we've all been through years of stress from this experience, and its money not all of us will ever be able to see again considering suits are a luxury for most people. Either way, customers have the right to be scared and concerned for the products they paid for, so I hope they get them.
