Reviewer Information Reviewer Anonymous Relationship With Maker The maker was NOT a friend when the item was purchased, but they ARE a friend now Prior Experience Yes, i am a fursuit maker! Informed Maker of Issues Things looked okay when i unboxed her, after a couple wears i told her about how things popped, she offered to fix. The time i waited and with multiple failed due dates i didn’t want to send anything back and wait longer. Review Video Character Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction The wear for a resin base is great, obviously very warm but that got used to by me wearing the head. LEDs are hidden very well, switch is in a convenient place. Velcro was used to close the back of the head, honestly now would’ve preferred a zipper since the velcro has been not sticking very well from the NFT getting in the way. There is i noticed some very sharp edges hidden with the balaclava, i will keep an eye on them to make sure they wont poke me. Overall the wear is very comfortable!! Vision is as good as it can get with a resin base, there is a large blind spot in the middle, my glasses fog up quite a bit. But I’m thinking of getting contact lenses or antifog. Visual Satisfaction The symmetry is perfect, nothing lopsided or uneven, the shaving on the head is good as well. Everything is hidden well on this head. It is gorgeous. The fur feels nice and fluffy, had that new smell unboxed. The expression was exactly how i wanted it, grumpy with a smile. She matches the concept art to a par. Very happy. The nose was chipped when i received her but did i coat of paint myself, maker said it looked great. Special Attachments and Features As mentioned above she has LEDs and they work and are hidden well! Moving jaw works great, hinge snapped but was easily fixed by super glue. I would suggest using thicker material for the hinge itself. Hinges are thin and fragile. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction Hands were snug but do fit well, feet were made on crocs in my size. No issues with the fit, fit is good. Noticeably the claws were rough looking, they do pick up dust easily, maybe could have been sanded and coated? After a couple wears and when it was time to clean up the suit, seams fell out and holes formed on the toes as well as fur shedded where there are big missing patches now. The claws i knew during the con i attended moved around quite a bit, not until further inspection they were actually not scored very much and the hot glue was pulled out from the claws. I was greatful i didn’t lose any at the con. The claws on the hands, same issue, the claws were wobbly, some actually could fall out by a few more wears i think. The feet are lined and the cuffs are lined too. I feel like the paws were rushed due to multiple missed due dates, could have been better with better glue and maybe ordering a better batch of fur. Visual Satisfaction Overall in photos they look nice, in person however you can see the flaws they have and now the patches and wobbly claws. I am going to scrap the hands and feet as they will continue to deteriorate. The fur on the hands are shaven very weird, short in places, long in others, feet looked okay when it came to shaving. They match the concept, with ordering parts i would not commission them again. Special Attachments and Features Resin claws on both hands and feet, silicone paw pads (which looked great), outdoor soles. (Held up nicely) The only issues were the fur quality and care for the resin parts. Not being smoothed out or glued in properly. Tails Wear Satisfaction Tail is easy to wear, attached via belt, nothing has been broken or worn. Quality is nice! Visual Satisfaction The tail is a bit smaller than i had hoped for, it looks dinky on my fullsuit, which is fine. I can wear this tail if i want to wear the suit as a partial. The tail matches the concept well, the maker confirmed fur direction and patterns well. I was happy with the attention to detail. Special Attachments and Features She added a zipper in the tail for the delays, it was a nice gesture. i am grateful for it. Acts as a wallet to store money or treats. Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? She asked many questions on design and if she made something that was incorrect she fixed it. Getting details right is not an issue with this maker! She draws her own concept art. How well does everything fit together and match up? Overall as a partial suit it looked great, as a fullsuit i think proportion for a bigger person would have called for a thicker tail. Everything fit good and i commissioned her for her style. She looked professional and seemed very nice to work with. Was consistent to her style. Overall Project Quality Overall the suit now is basically unwearable and i don’t feel like waiting a long time to get the parts repaired. If i had no due date i would order a head and tail, hands and feet I’d say forget it. So sorry i have to say this, but your suit should hold up and not miss many due dates. The head is my favorite, i do not regret commissioning just for the head. Purchase Process Initial Contact I got a hold of her i believe through her website, then directed me to her Facebook page as it was easier to contact her and see photos. Maker Response Time Everything was fine up until it came to due dates, i waited patiently and did not bother her very much understanding queues and whatnot. Every time a due date was missed made me feel uneasy and think she was not going to make the final due date. Which was August, for my con. She seemed to get things done well on time for others, i thought maybe it was just a snag with mine. Maker Professionalism She was pleasant to talk to and easy to get details down. There was a lot of things getting in the way it seemed, but understandably. Life happens. They were professional, and treated me like a client. No issues business wise. Project Completion Time 14-15 months Things are a bit difficult now to get a hold of them as i ordered a kigurumi that ive been waiting half a year for. 3 due dates were missed. So when it comes to due dates i think if you are okay with not having a due date she would be good to commission. Rating FursuitReview rates by asking the question: Would you recommend this maker? Final Comments I think everything i needed to say was mentioned, i feel like i was an unlucky commissioner who got caught up in the middle of other commissions and she felt rushed or maybe unmotivated to work on my suit. Hopefully the kigurumi i ordered will have a much happier ending. I should mention she still owes me a badge with my partial suit order. I had no received it yet.
