Pre-Made Head Wear Satisfaction The mask fits wonderfully: its a little snug putting it on but once it gets over my head it’s awesome! The ventilation is awful. The mouth doesn’t open very wide and that’s the only outlet for fresh air. I bought a fan and installed it myself and WITH the fan I can wear it longer. Without the fan I could only wear it MAYBE 20 minutes before I needed a break. The vision is alright. The only thing about it is when you’re wearing it that’s when you can notice the eyes are uneven and without my glasses it causes me to use my left eye more than my right, I have to turn my head a bit, so when I take the suit off I feel a bit cross eyed. I wish this was caught before the suit was finished. Visual Satisfaction The shaving is a little choppy around the top of the head but I don’t mind because it gives her a scruffy look. Some markings are a little harder to distinguish and made designing a reference sheet easy enough to follow a bit difficult. Some of the airbrushing was also smeared down into the white of the cheek and it made her look like she had “blush”. The fur is also crunchy where it was airbrushed. There is also glue stuck on her lips that I cannot get off. The pupils of the eyes could’ve been painted a little darker and were gray when I received it but I fixed this myself. There was also some stitching missing under the left ear where the foam was exposed (approximately 2 inches long). I know another customer who had this same issue on their head as well. I am satisfied with her despite these minor issues. Special Attachments and Features The tongue is adorable the way it sticks out as well as the little feelers/whiskers on her face. I also adore the gills on the sides of her head. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction I only received hand paws with my partial and they are a little big. They came with finger stuffers to help full up the hands but I prefer to wear them without them anyways. There was a tear or some missed stitching in the palm area on my right hand paw, I fixed this myself. Visual Satisfaction The paws are adorable! the detail on them is awesome. They have red felt webbing between the fingers and are fluffy. The markings on them as well are brilliant. Tails Wear Satisfaction The tail is a bit large and kinda bulky. But I’ve received the MOST compliments on my tail. It’s very unique but heavy. I am shorter than the artist so it drags when I walk. The fin is white and had gotten dirty at a con because of this. The tail requires a thicker belt though in order for it to be “lifted” up more. The tail is very durable! It had been accidentally stepped on a few times the first con I wore her and it did not get damaged. Visual Satisfaction The fur is awesome and very easy to brush on the tail. The markings and the other fins on the tail make the suit even more better and gives the character it’s dragon look! Once people see the tail they say “fish dragon” or “koi dragon” and it makes me happy! Overall Product Satisfaction How well does everything fit together and match up? The markings match up quite nice! I think the colors could’ve been more so matching to the character’s inspiration (more “koi” colors for example) but other than that, I love the colors! And think they all fit together well. Overall Project Quality Overall quality is decent, I would give it a 7/10. Purchase Process Initial Contact I was completely satisfied. But we communicated via facebook messenger so I cannot give a completely honest review on communication. Maker Response Time Again, facebook messenger. We did not email at all. Maker Professionalism The maker was a bit annoyed I could not pay in full when I won the auction. But they had received a payment from another commission they worked on so it wasn’t a big deal. I made two payments all within a few weeks. Customer service was good, from what I experience. Pleasant to work with. My only MAJOR issue is the eyes. Like I said, they are uneven and the eyes are the only issue I cannot fix myself.
