Maker CommunicationConsidering the US is on the opposite side of the world from New Zealand, all communications were quick.
The communication seemed to be a mix of formal and friendly.

Project Completion TimeThe maker initially planned to have it sent out December 24th, but was pushed back a couple of times to be sent out around January 20th or so. New Zealand Post was used without international tracking, so I was unable to see where it was. I was told it should arrive in roughly 3 or 4 weeks but it got to me March 4th, barely in time for the convention (Arrived less than 1 hour before I had planned to leave)

Overall Project QualityOverall, I am really pleased with the purchase. For the price I paid, it has really exceeded my expectations and has been really fun to use.
It arrived without any weird smells, stains, or debris on it. It has held up to quite a bit of abuse without any damage or staining and is easily able to be smoothed by hand in a pinch. The fur keeps its shape when smoothed and does not require much brushing, although it is durable enough to withstand the occasional slicker brush if needed. The tail stays on and doesn't move around side to side on my belt due to the 2 belt loops. It does bounce around up and down a little bit.

Components

Tail

Wear SatisfactionI didn't really know what to expect with the tail, but it was really nice.
The two belt loops are elastic bands that are sewn with the two ends in a common place. It is really easy to put on despite having a belt that is not rounded off at the end like most belts are. The spacing between the 2 belt loops is large enough to fit between the belt loop on my pants but not so wide that the entire tail can rotate around on the belt. The belt loops do allow it to move vertically though and sometimes I can feel it bouncing around while walking around with it on.
Durability-wise, the tail has really exceeded my expectations. I did not know what to expect from a tail, but it has survived quite a bit of abuse with no visible damage of any sort. It has survived walking around a convention with a backpack pushing down on it; sitting between my back and the back of a chair; getting pulled on by a child; being put in a bag with camera equipment on top of it; and general everyday convention use. It is really durable and has dramatically exceeded the expectations I had initially put on it for the given price.
It has stayed puffed up despite this use as well, with no signs of the stuffing going flat. I have only had to comb it once since I got it despite wearing it to 2 conventions and having it internationally shipped to me. It held up to a slicker comb and only a couple loose hairs came out of it.

Visual SatisfactionThe belt loops are a bit uneven and are angled inwards towards the center, but other than that, everything is even.
There are no seams visible, although the fur is a bit pinched near the belt loops and there is one spot where the fur is a bit shorter due to a seam. The shaving is even. The transition between white and black is very well except one minor spot where there is a little bit of black fur that protrudes into the white fur.
The only problem I have with the fur is that it has some individual hairs that don't stay flat and randomly spike out, even after brushing. Brushing removes one or two individual hairs. It is really easy to brush and keep flat, and I don't need a brush to keep it flat if I want, I can smooth it by hand. The fur is soft, but not so soft that I can compare it to petting a kitten. I can compare it to petting an older cat though.
The tail does move a bit vertically around my belt, but it stays centered. I haven't had anyone say my belt loops are visible.
