Prior ExperienceThis is my third fursuit and my first from a different maker.

Wear Time12+ hours

Informed Maker of IssuesI did not. I chose not to tell them because I did not want to burden them with more work nor did I want to send my fursuit so far away and possibly not have it for a long time.

Overall

Initial ContactIt was very easy to contact the maker for a quote, doing so via email. However, I corresponded with them mostly on Telegram.
It was easy to understand what the maker needed from me in terms of measurements and reference.

Maker CommunicationThe maker's responses were prompt, despite us living in such disparate timezones.
I was treated extremely well by them, friendly but business-like.
They were clear and explicit in their explanation of the commission process.
The maker did not give any details about personal life, nor did they have to make any excuses for delays as there were no delays.

Project Completion TimeI was more than satisfied. The project was completed extremely quickly. I ordered it in November and got it in March, a period of only four months.
The maker used Trello to show where I was in the queue. I could clearly see where I was in comparison to others who commissioned them.
My items were shipped quickly as well. They used Georgia Post to ship the suit. As it was valuable, it was sent to my local post office for me to pick up instead of my apartment.

Overall Project QualityThe product is built well and has an excellent aesthetic appeal. I've gotten many compliments on it whenever I go to conventions or meets.
The look is unified and I like trying different outfits with the fursuit.
The product is consistent with the maker's style as well, including how they do the hair for characters with heads with hair.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head fits very well. It is not too loose, not too tight. I especially like that the maker included a removable foam block for my forehead to keep the head stable.
The lining is cotton and is a pattern using my fursona's colors of orange, white, and dark gray. It is easy to spray down with disinfectant to keep it from getting smelly.
The ventilation could be better. The mouth hole is extremely small (though this is common for kemono-style suits) but it has a removable USB fan held there with a 3D printed holder.
I like that the maker added a pocket in the front of the lining to hold a small battery to power the fan (battery not included).
I also like that the eyes and the acrylic pieces that go in front of the eyes are both removable and as such won't get damaged when I disinfect the suit.
However, I rarely wear the acrylics now because they get fogged up extremely easily. I use anti-fog wipes to try to temporarily prevent this but it only works for a few minutes.
The vision is really good, probably also due to being kemono-style and therefore having large eyes. It's more difficult to see when wearing the removable magnetic eyelids though.

Visual SatisfactionThe head has no noticeable problems with symmetry and I've found it matches my character perfectly including my preferred style for her.
I have noticed no problem with the shaving. One cannot see the backing and the transition between fur types and colors is perfectly smooth.
The material is soft and feels good to the touch. It can be easily brushed using a two-sided fursuit brush, using the wired end for the hair and neck and the bristle end for the facial fur.
I am pleased with the expression the head makes, especially with the additional eyelids giving my fursuit a sassy and sexy look.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe hands are extremely comfortable. They stay on perfectly. However, they don't quite fit 100 percent , the distance between thumb and forefinger being slightly smaller than my actual hand.
I can easily put on and take off the hands, and they stay on until I am ready to take them off.
The seams are extremely durable, able to handle being put in the washing machine.
The lining is the same cotton with the same pattern as the head. It absorbs sweat well.

Visual SatisfactionI love how the hands are big and puffy, fitting the cute aesthetic of my character. They do not have any noticeable issues with asymmetry.
The shaving is even and the transition between fur types, lengths, and textures is perfectly smooth.
The material is soft to the touch and the lining is decently tough, being the same lining my head has.
The paw pads are fleece and the claws are that as well. They have not fallen off as of writing this review.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail has a hidden loop, as opposed to the usual elastic bands. I also like how big and fluffy it is. It matches my head and hands in color perfectly.
The seams are durable and nothing has fallen off as of yet. You can pull on it without tearing but I would not recommend doing so if you can help it.
However, the loop has been extremely secure so far, being able to survive tail pulls from some folks who, to be honest, should not be doing so without my consent.
I also like that the tail can be put in the washing machine with no damage to it.

Visual SatisfactionThe tail is perfectly symmetrical, fitting the character's design, who has a decently thick fluffy tail.
The shaving is even, with the transition of dark gray fur to white fur perfectly smooth.
The material is soft and fluffy.
The tail moves as expected and stays taut to my body provided the belt I use is as well.

RatingFursuitReview rates by asking the question:
Would you recommend this maker?

YES This review has been marked with a positive rating.
This means the reviewer would recommend Al Fur.

Final CommentsI would absolutely recommend Al Fur to anyone looking for a kemono-style fursuit at a reasonable price.
The total cost of my mini-partial, including shipping, was about $2500 USD.
The turnaround time for their fursuits is far quicker than many other fursuit makers and yet the quality is far better than prior fursuits I have bought.
The only major problems I have with the suit is the fogging of the acrylic eye pieces and the ventilation not being the best due to the tiny mouth hole.
If they can improve the ventilation, their fursuits would be absolutely perfect for me.
