Overall

Initial ContactInitially met the maker at a convention and bought this partial there.

Maker CommunicationAfter the convention I contacted the maker via Telegram regarding the removable eyelashes, as they wouldn't hold very well and would fall off or get skewed easily. I wanted to fix this myself, so I sent a DM in the evening one day to ask for repair advice, and she got back to me the next morning. Her demeanor was very professional and she quickly helped me resolve my problem. A couple months later I ran into her at another con, she asked me how my fursuit was doing, if I had any more questions, and checked to see if my eyelashes issue was fixed, and encouraged me to contact her on Telegram if I had any questions or problems.

Overall Project QualityOverall beyond satisfied with this partial. All the pieces complement each other and help create a strong unique visual style. The whole thing screams quality, care, and attention to detail. Overall it is seamless, comfortable, and a pleasure to wear.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head is all foam and velvety lined with a cushiony elastic strap to hold the back of the head. The fit is quite snug, only very vigorously shaking my head will shift this thing, or being slapped on the muzzle with decent force will rotate it on my head. I can wear my glasses in this if I want to as well, glasses get slightly tight though.

It is disturbingly comfortable, being all foam it's very lightweight, I get no neck strain even after wearing for hours straight. It's cushiony enough to sleep in – literally, I took a three hour nap with this thing on, air flow was good and the extra cushioning on the back was nice. Air flow is mostly through the mouth, some through the eye mesh. The mouth is large enough to comfortably fit a standard 16.9 fl oz water bottle for hydration (or even a glass beer bottle, hehe). Personally I have very good heat tolerance, so I can wear this all day at room temperature wearing full clothing and a leather jacket with some breaks in between. Danced about three hours with this on with a couple breaks, the head soaked all that sweat but never to the point of dripping.

Vision-wise I see mostly through the sides, anything directly in front of you for a few feet you cannot see, for example if a 5' 8" person is standing two feet in front of you you could maybe see their arms moving, depending on how wide they are. Peripheral vision obviously is impaired but less so compared to other fursuiters I've shown. The eyelashes are removable for improved visibility, but I like them too much so never take them off. Walking around I find myself rotating my head 30ish degrees either way to maintain vision.

Visual SatisfactionExtremely satisfied with the visuals, design wise is unique and well executed. Symmetry wise viewed from the front the muzzle is twisted ever slightly counterclockwise, but aside from this and the parted hair it's beautifully symmetrical. Transitions between different material types is seamless. Only visible lines are a couple meeting the top and bottom of the cheeks; there's one running down the top of the muzzle to the hairline but when brushed is not noticeable. The eyes are gorgeous, with multiple colors for the iris and plastic bits for the specular marks to really make them pop. The whole head is smooth with no hard bumps. The only unexpected hard piece I found was a little bit of glue on the edge of the eye, but it easily came off. Overall it's clear the maker devoted a lot of time and effort into the final product.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe paws are overall comfy to wear for long periods. The interior of the gloves have small velvety pillows in each digit you place your fingers under so your paws are extra cushiony. Fit is good and there's little to no risk of this coming off unintentionally, and the fur covers a bit over half of my forearm so there's no skin visibility when wearing a long sleeve.

Visual SatisfactionVery cute little paws for a dragon, big poofy digits, extra fur around the wrist, even some long fur covering the paw pads. Same materials as the head, love the plain white fur which gives them a soft cloud-like appearance. The paw pads are like a colorful spandex, but be careful not to brush this material or risk poking holes in it.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThis is a big fat luxurious floor dragging derg tail. The back of the tail has two straps sewn on you braid your belt through to attach to your waist; this holds better if you can also weave it through a back belt loop on jeans, but I've worn this with just a belt on a skirt and if your belts tight enough the tail doesn't slide around. After wearing it out for awhile the tail is soft and malleable, it's easy to grab this thing, hug it, wrap it around your body, swing it like a bat etc. At about 100+ hours of wear and having had several children viciously pull on this thing the straps have yet to show signs of wear/detaching.

When I don't want this to drag around all the time I'll tie a zip tie close to the tip of the tail and loop it onto a carabiner on my belt, the tail hold up fine after hours of walking/swaying around.

Tail is also big and soft enough to cuddle with.

Visual SatisfactionLove this big fat tail, top to bottom its taller than me. Same fur selection as the head and paws, gorgeous long tinsel fur and cloud-like short fur. Well made, perfectly symmetrical, no visual defects at all.

Final CommentsFirst time I saw this partial I was dumbfounded by it – the design, the visuals, the materials, the quality of execution. As a first partial this has set a very high standard for fursuits for me, and I'm extremely grateful to have this work of art in my life. If my friends or myself ever want a toony style fursuit made I couldn't think of recommending anyone else.
