Overall

Initial ContactThankfully, it was really easy. I just sent them a DM on instagram, and we discussed my commission. As a first time commissioner, I clearly understood everything being asked of me, and pricing was clear and super good value. Be mindful that I believe this maker uses a translator, so I'd highly recommend speaking with full sentences and no abbreviations or slang (when I did, sometimes it would be lost).

Maker CommunicationThe maker was extremely communicative, responding to any messages I sent within 24 hours. I didn't need to do this very often though, because they provided extremely frequent updates. They also had many opportunities to request changes (of which I only needed to request one, which wasn't their fault as it was an extremely small detail). They also helped me with fursuit care advice, and have since helped with any queries I had after receiving the suit! They've been a massive help.

Project Completion TimeThe head took less than a month, which is INCREDIBLY fast as I'm sure everyone will agree. They've recently changed their turnaround times to three months, which I'm glad about because they were working HARD on the suit (based on message timings, there were definitely days where they worked over 8 hours a day on the head). The quality is top notch if you ask me! I expected it to take MUCH longer.

Overall Project QualityAbsolutely! I love it! It exceeded my expectations, especially for the price I paid. It's very in line with the quality of their previous work (maybe more at the time it was completed). It's a great head, and I don't think any other maker could have captured the character in the same way. Especially the hair. Everything is as durable as it can be, and looks fantastic.

Wear SatisfactionIt's very comfortable! The maker asked for some head sizes at the start, and definitely adhered to them super well. It's actually a bit adjustable, which is a super nice feature. Due to the type of head it is (Kigu) IT CANNOT BE WASHED IN THE WASHING MACHINE! I don't mind this, and assumed it was the case, but if this is an issue for you, be aware. Cleaning is easy, but I always make sure to wear a balaclava just to be safe. Fursuit spray is totally fine for my head though (provided I avoid the eyes, which is thankfully also easy to do).

The ventilation is as good as it can be! My head has a small fan inside it, which is a lifesaver. I'm an Australian living in Queensland, and have safely suited in 30+ degree weather (Celsius). I genuinely don't think the ventilation could be better, especially with the style of the suit (Kigu suits have a 3D printed base).

The vision is much better than I expected! I have most of the vision through the eyes, which line up with my own of course. There's also enough vision through a small part above the eyes that looks like an eyelid, but is actually extra vision for me. I prefer to look through the eyes, but those spots are enough for me to safely walk around when needed! There's a small blind spot in the middle, but it's smaller than the average fursuit.

Visual SatisfactionI think the work speaks for itself! My character is complicated, and difficult to get right (especially the hair). It's a perfect recreation of my sona as an excellent suit. Even non-furs point out how accurate to the references it is 😀

The ears can be adjusted, which makes transport easier. The eyes are static, but very expressive in my opinion (I like static haha)! To an extent, the hair can actually be styled as well, especially the bangs. My character's ponytail can be posed, which is an EXCELLENT feature. The visual look was why I chose this maker in the first place, and they absolutely delivered! It looks and feels great!

Final CommentsRecently, their old account was hacked and deleted. I love their work, so it really would be great if more people checked them out! I'm commissioning them again for a pair of handpaws, so I'll be sure to make a new review for those when I get them >:3
