I was looking for a maker across different platforms. I found Sasa through her website and later on Twitter. The first contact was via email, and her response was very fast. Later, the communication switched to Telegram.
The instructions she gave me were very clear.
The communication was very professional. The response to my first email came the very next day. We discussed the desired features and style options. Later, once everything was set, she sent me the offer with all the information, including the final price, in the form of an official contract.
During the build, she sent me WIP pictures for almost every step on Telegram.
The completion time was very fast. I commissioned her in November 2024, and the suit was finished by the end of December 2024. I got lucky, as I was first in line for that commission round.
I absolutely love the suit! It is my first fursuit and it always brings me joy wearing him out in public. Since I got him, he has been worn almost every weekend for some kind of event. Everything fits together perfectly. There are no visible gaps between the parts or visible zippers that could break the illusion, and it is very easy to maintain and keep clean. Every seam is sewn so sturdily that I think it will last a very long time. Even under continuous use, like I do.
The price is not cheap, but in my opinion, it is worth every cent.
The head is built on an expanding foam base and lined with black air-mesh. Thanks to the attached 3-point elastic strap, it sits very securely and comfortably on my head. I can wear it for hours without any issues.
Due to the open mouth and large toony eyes, the ventilation is very good. I barely sweat in there, and breathing isn't a problem either.
I would describe the vision as average, as you’d expect from similar toony heads. Personally, I don't have any issues with it and can see my surroundings very well. I can even walk around comfortably on my own without a spotter.
A major plus was that the head was adjusted to fit my glasses inside. I can wear them without any issues, and thanks to the good ventilation, they don't even fog up.
The tongue is removable via Velcro.
The style matches the ref sheet very well. Every marking is in its desired spot in perfect symmetry. The shaving is even and the transitions between different colors are crisp, while the transition between short and long fur is very smooth. I can't see any backing material or glue spots.
The minky teeth aren't hyper-detailed, but they are well made and fit the style very well. The sublimated eye mesh looks very crisp and durable against the elements.
The zipper on the back is very well hidden—you cannot see it at all when it is closed. The head does not come with removable eyelids or a moving mouth, so the expression stays pretty much the same. It's a simple design, but I am more than happy with the visual result!
The suit fits me like a second skin and the seams are extremely strong. I can move freely in it, jump, kneel, crawl, whatever… without the fear of anything popping or ripping.
The interior is not lined, but in my eyes, that’s a plus. It improves airflow and makes cleaning and drying much easier. The bodysuit is machine-washable. I have washed it many times and never had any issues with it. The seams still look just like they did on day one.
The padding consists of custom-made pillows that can be easily removed. They can be machine-washed as well.
The overall design is kept simple, as it uses the same fur length for the whole body. For me, that's totally fine. My character does not have any complex markings, but the ones it does have are in their desired spots and match the ref sheet.
The leg padding is quite slim, but serves its purpose very well. I would describe the overall appearance as a slim digi-suit.
The tail is detachable, but the opening in the bodysuit is very well hidden. There is some overlapping fur, so the opening itself is nearly invisible.
The 4-finger handpaws have puffy paw pads and are quite small compared to other handpaws. Just like the bodysuit, the hands fit me really well. Once put on, they stay in place and I can move freely in them. I can grip things very well, push small buttons, and even operate a small camera.
The handpaws are easy to put on and take off. With a little bit of practice, I could put them on without any help. In the beginning, it's a little tricky since the sleeves of the paws go inside the sleeves of the bodysuit. But because of that, the transition is completely invisible, and it stays that way even with excessive movement.
As with the bodysuit, there is no lining in the handpaws, which helps with airflow.
The seams are sturdy. I’ve never had any problems with anything coming loose. The edges of the puffy paw pads are embroidered.
As mentioned before, the handpaws are quite small compared to other ones. While this makes them more functional, visually they could be a bit larger. Also, the claws could be a bit more curved. However, both issues have been resolved in newer versions.
The shaving is very well done—it is even and clean. The embroidered paw pads look exceptionally neat.
The design matches the ref sheet very well!
As mentioned earlier, the tail is detachable and therefore easy to maintain and clean. It is fully machine-washable and the filling does not clump.
The belt loop is very sturdy and allows for a tight fit. It feels very comfortable to wear.
The style of the tail fits the rest of the suit very well. The quality is on the same level as the other parts.
Because the tail hangs down, it bounces off the back of the feetpaws while walking. This is due to its length and weight. I don't like this very much, but I can't think of a way to fix this without changing its shape completely.
The feetpaws are built very sturdy. Inside sits a (customer-selected) shoe on an EVA-foam plate, covered by a grippy rubber sole. Just like the head base, the toes are made from cast foam and the claws are made of minky. The digi padding is attached and reaches up to just under the knee. Like the head, the padding is lined with air-mesh fabric.
At my request, a zipper was added to each feetpaw that connects to the bodysuit. That way, I can move freely without any worries about fur slipping out of place. I can open and close the zippers without any help.
Another very practical feature I use every time is a small hidden pocket with a zipper, between the padding and the fur backing. It fits a hotel room key card or a car key. In my opinion, the pocket could be bigger, and a second one would be very practical, too.
As stated earlier, I had some issues with the sole and a single claw coming loose. But considering how much and in what conditions I use them, I have to say that they hold together exceptionally well. Since I got the suit, I have worn them almost every weekend. I have walked very long distances in them, danced for hours, and worn them in heavy rain, dusty roads, muddy woodlands, salty snow slurry and on beaches with blazing hot sand. I have to hand-wash them multiple times a month—especially the white minky claws. Of course, they show some wear by now, but I really have to say that I never would have expected them to hold together that well.
I do like the overall style of the digi feetpaws, but I have to say that the padding style is not quite perfect. There is an updated version that looks more appealing in my opinion. But putting that aside, they match the rest of the suit very well. Like the handpaws, the shaving is very clean, and in this case, I like the design of the claws very much.
Due to the invisible zipper, the transition between the bodysuit and feetpaws is completely invisible.
