Perfect. Caelum is made to accommodate glasses and does so well. He has a movable jaw, so he also has a strap on the inside of the head to keep it snug. When his beak is down, he has great ventilation, but if I’m feeling cramped or want to talk to people without being muffled, I can fully open up his beak to expose my terrible human face.
The vision is wonderful, however there’s a large blind spot where the beak is (but this was to be expected). If I want to see perfectly, I just open his beak again.
Visual Satisfaction
He is adorable and perfect. His cheeks are fluffy and soft and GOOD. He has wonderful floppy, but sturdy ears that I can wiggle around. His eyes feature little star shaped eyelights like the concept art had. He is wonderfully cheerful and cute.
His beak came with a blemish due to heat damage, but somehow magically healed itself? This surprised both myself and CFStudios.
Special Attachments and Features
He has a couple of magnetic eyelids that can be attached to shift his expression from cheerful to sleepy. These are pretty good, however I did replace the glue on the magnets to E6000 just to make them more sturdy. They work quite well, but the magnets on the further ends of the eyes doesn’t stick all that well all the time. They also tend to block a bit of vision, so I really only wear them for photoshoots and not for active wear.

The body fits me perfectly, as expected. It was built off a duct tape dummy so that’s a given. I have a full range of movement, even with the padding in. Every seam is beautifully surged and quite sturdy. I have only had to stitch up some small areas near the wings (the wings are many layered and a bit heavy, so this is not unexpected). The wings and tail are attached to the bodysuit, so they will be discussed more later. The bodysuit also has a neck pillow that adds a bit more shape to the suit and has a little hidden pocket that I usually store his eyelids. His padding is also special in that it is themed (Caelum has a space theme, so his padding has space fabric!). Being that he’s a digitigrade fullsuit, the airflow is a little limited, but I can still cool off rather quickly in front of a fan or in cold weather.
Visual Satisfaction
Everything is perfect. Markings are symmetrical and well done.
Special Attachments and Features
Tail is attached, so it has a little window on the inside for removing the stuffing. Originally, I thought this little spandex window would not do its job, however it works perfectly. He has appliqued arm-wings that are incredibly well made. I frequently get complimented on his wings, and its well deserved! The seamwork and overstitches are straight and clean. This will be discussed further, but his feet also zip on which is a wonderful feature.

They all fit perfectly. For the massive size of his paws, they are actually quite dexterous and I can do a lot in them! The back of his paws have stuffing in them, which makes them a bit hard to stuff into his sleeves, but I plan on adding some snaps that will fix that problem. The claws on his hands and feet are hard resin, and are fun to tap on things. He has two pairs of feetpaws: an indoor pair and an outdoor pair. I understand that his indoor pair are the first pair of indoor feet that CFStudios have done, and they are quite good! They sewed a layer of clear vinyl over the minky on the bottom to keep it from tearing or dirtying as much. His feetpaws zip onto the body suit so it has a clean transition and they can’t slip off. The feet have shoes on the inside, and the hands are lined with lycra.
The feetpaws are the only part of the body suit (other than the head) that aren’t machine washable due to them being made from foam. This is fine, they just have to be handwashed which takes some time.
Visual Satisfaction
The handpaws are beautiful; so much so that I wear them when I’m feeling down. The feetpaws are very large and cannot be worn on their own, but fit the body suit incredibly well. He probably has the best and most smooth digitigrade I’ve seen because of the zip on feet.
Special Attachments and Features
Zip on feet. They are difficult to get on if you already have the suit on, but if you zip them on beforehand, it is simple… you just shove your leg down through the padding and into the shoe.

The tail is a WHOPPING 5 feet long and roughly 1 to 1.5 feet in diameter. It has 9 stripes and all the seams are sturdy. It’s attached to the body suit, so there’s a window in the body suit where I can take out the stuffing. I plan on making a pillow for all the stuffing, because unstuffing and restuffing takes forever. This tail is HUGE and makes a wonderful cuddle partner, but also a weapon (both for hitting people and tripping them).
Visual Satisfaction
It has 9 stripes, matching the concept art perfectly. The fur is super soft and the tail is so squishable. I love it.
Special Attachments and Features
Attached tail, as mentioned before.

Wings are attached to the arms. They are beautifully and perfectly appliqued. Straight seams and overstitches. They seem to be quilted, as they have a bit of weight and squish to them. They are probably the heaviest part of the suit, but even then are probably only 2-4lbs.
Visual Satisfaction
They match the design perfectly and are quite symmetrical.
Product Satisfaction
He’s incredibly close to perfect. I absolutely adore this suit and get happy even seeing photos of him. He’s adorable and a joy to wear.
He is worth far more than the price I paid and I am incredibly beyond satisfied with this fursuit.
Purchase Process
I entered into their “pancan special” back in October 2016 which was a discount slot for an artistic freedom pancan. I gave them the idea for a pancan with neutral colours and a splash of pastel. We shot back and forth some design ideas and finished with the design he has now.
They respond in the same day usually. They only do client communication through email.
They are incredibly professional throughout the whole process, despite the three of us eventually becoming friends. They were perfectly capable of separating professional and personal life.
I asked to be placed later in the queue, so I was completed at a much later date. I made my last payment in July, and they finished the large majority of Caelum in August. He was shipped out the first or second week of September.

Please consider working with CFStudios. They are incredibly talented in a large variety of ways, kind, professional, and offer incredibly unique features. I would love to get more of my characters made in the future, and I am happy to have taken the chance way back in October 2016. They have made me a great product and have made a positive impact on my life.
