i first spoke to her at a local furmeet the day before her slots would open, i offered to let a friend to take on the task of making the tail due to the complexity but she was happy to do it
communication was mainly through telegram and occasionally on her discord server, since we both live in the same state she would reply quickly. WIPs were sent very regularly as the making process went on , pretty much any new addition to anything i would get to see which i do appreciate, i love seeing the process!
the suit was completed in record time as Fur Out West was the month after completion, so i had a con to debut her at! i think i picked Casper up a day or so after she was officially complete
overall i am 100% happy i went with Jesdena for bringing my baby to life, especially the tail, it is AMAZING! this is my first fullsuit i've ever commissioned and she made the experience a great one!
head is EXTREMELY comfortable to wear, its got a bit of wiggle room inside if i ever want to wear my glasses inside. a few of my mates with larger heads than me have tried her on and can confirm shes very comfy!
ventilation is the best ive had on any suit ive owned, the entire mouth is carved out so i have a lot of space to breathe or stick a fan in
vision, like the ventilation, is the best ive had! the range i can see is insane, even the blind spot right in the middle is barely noticeable!
words cant describe how cute she is.. and soft
symmetry is spot on, no major visible differences on each side . shaving is really clean and transitions very nicely to the longer pile ! there's one or two spots where you can see the fur backing from a close shave but you can honestly barely see them unless you're looking very closely. i don't mind at all, shaving fur is an experience and little mishaps happen!
the fur is so soft… i cant help but pet her head every now and again or cuddle the tail lol
expression wise its spot on to her character! friendly approachable smile , ultimate photogenic cat!
the bodysuit is super comfortable, even with the padding in i have amazing movement! ive pushed the suit to its limits and not popped a single seam !
airflow is good! especially when a breeze comes by, i had never full-suited before and was worried id overheat like most suiters mention but i can go a good 2+ hours on a cool day
washing is so convenient too, i can just throw the body in a washing machine!!
could not ask for a better bodysuit, the white fur being a shorter pile looks really nice!
high movement areas are still looking smooth nearly a year on and are yet to show signs of wear and tear
comfiest paws I've owned ever. they don't slip off no matter what. probably the most used part of the suit and still looking good , no seams have popped!
the stuffing is in little pillows that are sat inside the fingers, never seen this used for paws but its a smart idea! cleaning is great, like the body i can throw them in the machine
paws look stunning, even my normie friends agree they look good! the fingers use a shorter pile so they look smooth
the colour of the beans is spot on to the ref, didnt know Minky had shades of pink that light!
i think its safe to say the tail is… very complex, but Jes did an amazing job replicating the paintbrush tip! the golden part is removable to make it easier to clean too.
the tail has been dragged, sat on, tugged by kids, and used to smack people with, and its not shown any signs of damage!! only part showing wear is one of the three belt loops but its just fraying a little bit on the corner. it does get thrown around so the wear-down is understandable
stunning tail and anyone whos seen it can agree, its what defines Casper. im so glad Jes was willing to take on the tail because she did such an amazing job!
we did have to shoot my shoe size up a little bit because my size doesn't seem to exist, was worried they'd be too big but they fit perfectly even though they're easily half a size bigger XD.
the feet themselves zip to the bodysuit , a new method for suits id never seen. getting them attached is a lil awkward at times when the fur goes in to the zipper but fur likes to do its own thing sometimes. once its attached its almost seamless as to where the feetpaws start and the legs end.
the lining for the feet was chosen to be rainbow since it matched Caspers aesthetic , little did i know i would proceed to glitter bomb my legs! all the loose glitter is definitely gone now but nothing wrong with leaving a little sparkle wherever i go lol.
feet have taken a fair beating and are still going strong, no holes yet!
feet look amazing, symmetry is clearly good since i keep mixing up what side each foot goes on , thankfully theres a "left" tag on the left foot so i dont constantly get muddled up.
toes use the same short white as the fingers and belly , very smooth beans.
the feetpaws and tail attach with zippers to look more seamless and add a bit more security, its such a neat idea and i cant wait to see if more makers use this as a feature
