Character Concept Art

Photos of Completed Product

Head

Wear Satisfaction

The head is extremely comfortable to wear and lightweight. It’s one of the most comfortable heads he has ever worn. It’s lined inside with a
balaclava which makes it feel soft and pleasant inside.

The ventilation in the head is really amazing because of the open mouth and your mouth and nose are unobstructed by anything so you can breathe
freely.

The vision is rather narrow compared to his previous suit but it is still easy enough to get around. It could be better but it’s definitely
enough.

Visual Satisfaction

The head looks exactly like what Chaga had in mind when he commissioned the fursuit. It looks just as happy as he wanted it to. It has follow-me
eyes which allow for a variety of expressions depending on the angle of the head.
The design matches the concept art provided. The symmetry is very good, nothing looks lopsided or misaligned. The fur is of great quality and the shaving is even and clean. The mane is really fluffy and soft and the fur is long and flowy.

Body

Wear Satisfaction

The body is very comfortable and fits perfectly. It doesn’t limit Chagas range of motion while still being rather form-fitting. The design of the
bodysuit matches the concept art.

The seams are sturdy and even during heavy wear during Eurofurence nothing popped or came loose.
The body itself is not lined and the airflow is normal.

Visual Satisfaction

The body matches the concept art that was provided to the maker.
Everything looks high quality. The furs are soft and dense and easy to brush out after wear.
There’s no shaving or airbrush on the body. The neck is neatly cuffed with bias binding.

Special Attachments and Features

The tail is sewn on to the body. The seams are sturdy and reliable.

Hands and Feet

Wear Satisfaction

The hands and feet are very comfortable to wear. They’re easy to put on and take off by yourself.

The feetpaws are outdoor paws and built on shoes. This makes the feet comfortable and easy to wear. They are lightweight.

The dexterity in the handspaws is good. They are not lined. The length of the paws and arms of the body is more than enough to hide the wrists
of the wearer but they do thend to twist around, making the markings misaligned.

Both hand- and feetpaws have resin claws. The ones on the feet can scratch from hitting the floor or stairs but that’s normal for feetpaws.
They’re sturdily attached and don’t show any signs of coming loose or falling off.

Visual Satisfaction

The handpaws are flat four-fingered handpaws with vinyl pawpads and resin claws (which are on the feet too). The claws look very clean and
nice and are all aligned correctly. The pawpads are cleanly and evenly sewn on.
The fur, as on all other parts, is very soft and dense and the shaving is even.
Everything matches the concept art.

chaga had ordered separate sandals for the ffetpaws which fit the paws well and look very clean and well made.

Tails

Wear Satisfaction

The tail is attached to the bodysuit. It moves very nicely with the movements of the wearer.
The seams are durable and clean.

Visual Satisfaction

It matches the concept art provided.

The tail has a small hidden zipper on the underside to unstoff it for washing, making it much easier to clean.

Overall

Product Satisfaction

How was your concept art realized?
No specific concept artist was requested. Chaga had sent her the linked reference and Karelia looked up more of Chagas commissined art on
their own to use as references.
There were no changes to the design or the character throughout the process.
Chaga is very satisfied with how the product matches his character design perfectly.

How well does everything fit together and match up?
The complete fursuit looks exactly how Chaga had imagined it upon commissioning. All the markings are correct and match the concept art.

The markings on the sleeve and hand can easily get misaligned while wearing the suit but that’s nothing that can’t easily be fixed.
The whole suit fits very well. It’s not baggy or too tight in any areas.

The same fur has been used for the whole fursuit so the colours and textures of the fur match up throughout.

Overall Project Quality
Chaga is extremely happy with his new fursuit. His expectations were met and it was definitely worth what he paid for it.

Everything is sturdy and high quality and the fursuit looks really nice as a whole as well as when you consider all parts by themselves. The
parts are easy to care for and seem like they will last a very liong time.

Purchase Process

Initial Contact
He found out about the commission opening through the makers social media channels like twitter, telegram and others, where openings are
usually posted.
The maker was contacted via email.

It was very easy to understand what was needed as there were in-depth instructions on how to make a DTD and what measurements were needed.
(Note from Kaz: I helped make the DTD and take the measurements. Everything was extremely clear with drawings and photos and illustrations to show what you had to do and to measure.)

Maker Response Time
The maker answered the initial email within one day. Communication happened mostly via email and occasionally on Telegram (email was the
preferred method).

Maker Professionalism
Chaga felt very comfortable working with Kareila. They were always friendly and quick to answer any questions. The comminucation was very
clear so he would always know what would happen when and he got frequent WIP pictures of his fursuit.
The professionalism was very good while still being somewhat personal and friend-like.

Project Completion Time
There was no public queue but Chaga could always ask and would be told his position in the queue.
He asked for completion till Eurofurence and the suit was hand delivered at the con, so the deadline was met.

Working with the maker was a great experience and Chaga would always recommend them to his friends (and in fact, already has). They’re very
pleasant to work with with no issues, all deadlines and dates met and a very friendly manner.

The quality of the suit is great and everything is sturdy, high quality and very well made, no exception.
