Head

Wear Satisfaction

The head fits very well on my head. The inside of the head is lined with foam. So I have to wear a balaclava with it. The ventilation is good in the head. I can breathe fine and it doesn’t get too hot inside the head. The vision is VERY good in the head. I have worn two other suits, and the vision in this my head is better than those. I can see well in front of me, and the blind spots aren’t that bad.

Visual Satisfaction

The maker did a great job of adapting the concept art into a head design. Everything matches the concept. The fur is smooth on the head and there isn’t a place where it looks like it doesn’t match or is cut off. The toony style looks really good. The vinyl nose is a great touch to the head. There are no faults on the head. Everything is very cleanly done and is well built. The eyes are follow me eyes, and it is very easy to be expressive in the suit because the expression was well done. The maker was able to match my fur colors almost exactly!

Hands and Feet

Wear Satisfaction

The inside of the feet is a shoe. It fits my feet well and there is no discomfort while wearing it. Easy to get the feet on and off since I can just slip my feet out of them. The feet so far are durable and everything seems sturdy and nothing feels like it’s going to come off. The hands are really easy to take on and off. I got 4 finger paw hands and it is easy to get them both on. They seem sturdy and the fur is well attached to them.

Visual Satisfaction

The feet and hands match the concept art. Again the maker was able to match the colors from the concept art with fur so it looks great. It is easy to brush both the paws and tail to get it looking great. Hardly any fur has come off so it is well attached to both the feet and paws.

Tails

Wear Satisfaction

The tail is easy to get on and off. The loops are secure and it is easy to get a belt through the loops to put on the tail. The tail is very durable, the fur is very secure and nothing is in danger of popping off of it.

Visual Satisfaction

The fur color is great and matches the concept art. The fur on the tail is good, all the fur is even and there are no patchy spots. The shaving is even on the tail. The tail is super easy to brush and get looking good. And the fur is super soft.

Overall

Product Satisfaction

How was your concept art realized?
The maker does not require that the concept art come from a specific artist. The maker correctly interpreted the patterns from the concept art and the suit matched the concept art almost exactly! The fur colors were all gone over with me and I was able to select the one that I thought was closest to the color of my character. I really am happy how well they were able to turn the concept art into a finished costume.

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Once everything is on the whole suit fits together really well. There are no gaps in the costume. The head is able to cover my neck and the paws and arm sleeves cover my arms well. And there is room to put the excess fur from the feet paws inside the legs of the pants so there is no gap there. Nothing tugs at each other so nothing is wearing on each other. Also, nothing is getting stretched because it fits well. The costume is consistent with the maker’s style. It looks like the other suits the maker has made.

Overall Project Quality
The project exceeded my expectations. The overall quality is amazing and it is comfortable to wear and easy to keep clean!

Purchase Process

Initial Contact
Initial contact was easy, openings and info was all on their FA page. The twitter page also is helpful for opening announcements. It was easy to understand what the maker wanted from me. They just asked whenever they needed more information like measurements.

Maker Response Time
It didn’t take long for the maker to get back to me. On the commission form you are able to put your preferred form of contact.

Maker Professionalism
I feel like I was treated well. The maker was great to work with. Everything with the commission was stated initially so I wasn’t left with any information I didn’t know.

Project Completion Time
I’m really happy with how fast the commission was completed. They have a public trello queue so you can see where your project is. They sent plenty of WIP pictures thought the commission process so I could see how it was going. And it was completed on time. When it was shipped, FedEx was used and the shipment was insured. I was provided a tracking number. And a signature was required so it wouldn’t be left at the door if nobody was home.
