Reviewer Information Reviewer Twitter: RamuneTigress Relationship With Maker The maker was NOT a friend when the item was purchased, but they ARE a friend now Prior Experience This was my first worn/owned suit but I have since commissioned and worn other suits! Informed Maker of Issues Yes – It was a premade so no guarantees were made on fit, obviously! It was also gifted to me so it was nothing that I would have or should have had any ‘make this x way’ about. However I did ask the Splinter team if there was a way they could fix her for me! I paid shipping both ways and they fixed her right up! They added a special blue balaclava and added more material at the back so she could fit my big head better. Wear Time About 72 hours of full wear at a con + several events such as Halloween! Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction 10/10 – The problem before was just due to the size of my head. With her open happy smile, I get a lot of ventilation! I tend to get very out of breath easily (sometimes have issues due to restrictive airways disease) and I’ve been able to book around in Cynder full blast without feeling like I’m not able to get air in! The expression is so cute. She looks happy and all smiles, and it’s fantastic that it’s so easy to breathe out of her too. Her eyes are very easy to see out of due to positioning from the fix. I have a really great field of vision, as much as is to be expected with any fursuit. Visual Satisfaction The only thing I have ever noticed is more of a personal preference. Her nose is perhaps not as ‘forward’ on her snout as I’d PERSONALLY want for a personal suit. As far as a premade goes that the team put so much love into? 10/10 again! Her ears look very even and the tufts too match! The markings of black around her mouth seem to have bled a teeny tiny bit, but she did make several long hot trips where she wasn’t properly protected from the heat as well as being subjected to other things due to my own neglect during rough trips. The eyes are extremely expressive and they give me so much life. The fur feels very smooth and looks even in all places! I have seen NO spots where it’s thinning or ‘balding’ nor any places that look ‘too long.’ I love how fluffy the cheek fluff is and how even they both seem to be as well! No excess shedding either. Even with my own personal chaos of having to haul her in some less than savory manners to places at times, she’s upheld VERY well in this ~year of owning her. The concept art that came WITH the premade matches to a T. I love Cynder to death and Splinter nailed this premade right out of the park! They’re a fantastic team. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction Just hands – They came with her as another suit was upgraded with a new tail and handpaws. The tail and handpaws were, as such, preowned. I currently have commissioned Splinterfox Productions for a pair of indoor feet paws due for late winter/early spring completion. The handpaws are super comfortable if not a bit big. But again, these were made for someone else. There are no tearing seams or anything either despite these items having been pre-owned. They do not get overly hot. They are not awkward despite being a bit big on me. Again, this is due to them being premade. Visual Satisfaction The fur is all very smooth and soft to the touch. The blue matches all over and really makes her colors pop. The shaving looks even all over and there are no tearing/popping seams nor any signs of heat damage or anything like that. Tails Wear Satisfaction It came with her as another suit was upgraded with a new tail and handpaws. This tail, like all their others, are super bouncy! Their newer tails are even more sturdy. The belt loops seem to be an older pattern, or just not as finessed as what they do now. Even so, the tail is extremely bouncy and comfortable. I need to invest in a tail belt because it ‘droops’ on me and the belt pulls back. It is a very old belt, however, and this is something I have no doubt will be remedied with a proper belt. Great wags, great bounce, super comfortable! Visual Satisfaction Despite having a white underside, I’ve not noticed it getting any stains. I’ve heard that suits with white on the lower back area can stain from sweat or whatever else. The fur has so far stayed incredibly smooth and white. The shaving is impeccably even and pleasing to look at. It looks fantastic on and amazingly bouncy for videos! Overall Product Satisfaction How well does everything fit together and match up? Everything just matches so well. This character will be getting a bodysuit upgrade from another maker, and then the feetpaws from Splinterfox Productions within the next few months. This character has gone from a premade to being really my secondary fursona. She is a beautiful suit who shows WELL how much love was put into crafting her. The nose and the little mouth markings are things that Splinterfox IMMEDIATELY expressed willingness to work with me on when they have openings. But they are also simply personal preferences. She is an absolutely gorgeous suit with symmetry and the cutest, most expressive looks ever! Overall Project Quality 10/10. If I could give higher, I would, but really… They exceeded all expectations I could have ever imagined when getting a premade suit! Purchase Process Initial Contact n/a – Premade – already have them contacted for an upcoming fullsuit! Maker Response Time Pretty good! They can get pretty busy, but if there’s ever been anything urgent, they respond within the day! Maker Professionalism They are extremely professional. I had the utmost pleasure of meeting them in person. They are kind-hearted and courteous and grateful to their customers and fur family. Genuinely, it was an honor to get to get a premade from them and it is an honor to be on the list for a full digitigrade fursuit from them! Project Completion Time n/a! The fix-up for the head-space being created wasn’t given a hard-set deadline. But they got her back to me before Halloween which was something I’d hoped for! They made my dream come true with that.
