Overall

Initial ContactI had already been friends with Sym for a number of years, so watched her fursuit-making skills develop in real time. We discussed the possibility of her making a fullsuit for me over Discord, and when we were both in a position to proceed, did so.
Sym has an online estimate calculator that proved to be pretty accurate and getting a full quote for the final price was easy.
Sym sent a diagram of the exact measurements she required, laying out clearly what she needed from me.

Maker CommunicationAt all points in the process, Sym was easy to get hold of and responsive. She sent me regular updates and WIPs and was patient with me while we discussed the pros and cons of different options at various stages.

Project Completion TimeOverall, I was very impressed with the project completion time!

There was a delay in starting the project due to shortages of the furs required, but Sym kept me updated during that time and refused to accept any money from me until she was in a position to start. I felt this was very professional of her.
From payment, to receiving the fursuit was only a handful of months due to Sym keeping her queue small, and despite the amount of work she had to put into making the fursuit, and the amount of time that had to be spent going back and forth on design options with me.

When it came to shipping, things moved at a reasonable pace for international shipping and Sym included tracking and an airtag in the fursuit itself to allow me to keep an eye on it.
Unfortunately, I was hit by massive import fees (more than it would have cost to fly over to America and pick up the suit myself!), but there wasn't much we could do about that.

Overall Project QualityThe overall quality of the fursuit is 100% top notch. A lot of skill, time and love clearly went into it.
Despite plenty of wear time over the last year, Darling is still in near mint conditions, something I put entirely down to Sym's excellent craftmanship.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head is really comfortable! It's lightweight due to being made from TPU and doesn't muffle my hearing or voice much at all.
Vision is excellent due to the large eyes and small blind spot.
Nothing presses, rubs or pokes me. The elastic strap in the back does need to be done up pretty tight to stop the head from slipping down, but even then, it's still comfortable.

Visual SatisfactionDarling looks exactly how I expected, due to familiarity with Sym's style and her working with me to finalise the character's design, so I'm very happy.
My favourite part is the eyes; Sym creates beautifully detailed sublimated follow-me eyes.
Everything is perfectly symmetrical and neat, with no loose threads, bald spots or choppy shaving.
Darling has the soft expression I was hoping for, plus two sets of Velcro eyelids for added variety.
Her tongue is also attached via Velcro, so can be removed. I had to sew it flat because the tongue kept distorting, but that was a simple fix.
Sym worked with me to finalise Darling's hairstyle and I really appreciate that it's attached with magnets rather than sewn in

One-Piece Body

Wear SatisfactionRather than use a DTD [Duct Tape Dummy], Sym works from measurements and uses them to produce a 3D model of your body. This worked really well for me, as it saved me from having to ship a bulky duct tape dummy from the UK to the USA. Instead, she shipped me a mock-up bodysuit in a small box for me to try on and double-check the measurements.
This lead to a bodysuit that fits me perfectly!
The workmanship on it is fantastic. After owning it for nearly a year and wearing it to multiple events, I've yet to have a single popped seam, hole or tear.
It's clear Sym puts a lot of time and effort into her work, and the results shine because of it.

The bodysuit is padded on the chest, legs and butt, using large, breathable mesh pockets for stuffing. This allows me to remove the padding when cleaning and means I can control how much or little I want the suit padded out.
The padding does make the bodysuit very hot, but that's the price you pay for a good pair of digitigrade legs!

Visual SatisfactionThe bodysuit looks perfect!
Sym worked with me on the design, taking my original concept (annotated reference picture), and turning it into something more fursuit and fur colour friendly.

The shape is very cute and feminine, which was just what I was hoping for, and the fur lengths are perfect.

All the hearts in her design came out exactly as I wanted and everything looks perfectly symmetrical to me.

The sleeves are just a bit too short, leading to my wrists showing easily, even after I added press studs to hold them together. HOWEVER! This is entirely my fault, because I mistakenly asked for the sleeves to be shortened. Any time my wrists are visible in pics, this is my fault and not Sym's.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe hands/front hooves fit perfectly well. I've added some extra padding to the inside to fill them out a bit more, because I prefer how it looks, but that's all.
Like with the other parts, the quality and durability are excellent.
They have no lining and came with padding in the hooves themselves to help keep their shape. These can be removed for easy cleaning.

Visual SatisfactionThey look exactly as I'd hoped for. The hooves are made from a soft, high quality mochi fabric.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe nub tail is attached to the bodysuit by a zipper, allowing me to remove it for cleaning or partialing, and displays the same high level of craftmanship as the rest of the fursuit.

Visual SatisfactionThe tail looks exactly like the ref and looks good when partialing or fullsuiting.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionThe feet hooves were a bit loose for my personal preference, but that was easily fixed by the addition of some shoes inside them, and they've been a comfortable fit ever since.
They attach to the bodysuit by zippers that are a bit of hard work to get on and off, but the colour blends in well for a seamless look.
They come with a label inside that shows you which way around they go. That hasn't stopped me from attaching the wrong foot to the wrong side at least once, but you can't help stupid.
The hooves are lined with the same breathable mesh as the bodysuit's padding.
They are outdoor feet, so have a thick matting-type material glued to the bottom. This is the only part of the fursuit that has come apart in any way, shape or form, and that's only because I caught them on the edge of something and pulled too hard, ripping away part of the matting. This was an easy fix with hot glue and has stayed in place ever since.

Visual SatisfactionBig and stompy and plush! The feet hooves look exactly how I wanted.

Special FeaturesI asked for wings on the fursuit and Sym did a lovely job with them. They are attached to the body but don't pull at the fabric or distort it at all. Their shape and how they stand out from the suit is exactly what I wanted, as are the markings.
On one side, the ends of the feathers are notably less defined than the other. This is really the only flaw/asymmetry on the whole suit, and not something I even spotted until I'd worn it more than once.
