The head also is a great weight considering how big it is. No complaints whatsoever. Visual Satisfaction Dibs head is gorgeous! They captured my character’s personality 100%. It almost seems to change expression just on different angles, its amazing, and I could not be more happy with that. The only issues with symmetry is the left ear is bigger than the right, but it’s not really that noticeable, I didnt notice it until after a few times wearing. The shaving is good! there’s a few nicks here and there but nothing most people would notice. Special Attachments and Features The eyebrows use very strong magnets and work perfectly, had no issue with them. I also have eyelids made out of some sort of tin, one worked fine but the other kept falling off, but I’ve been using blu-tack to keep them on which allows a little bit more subtle movement with them anyway. The eyelids were kinda last minute so the suit could arrive on time, so I’m not dissatisfied with that! The ears also are poseable, which was not a feature I even asked nor paid for, so I was SUPER chuffed with that! The nose has a huge square squeaker in it and works really well, sometimes you have press it a little harder than feels necessary, but I havent had problems squeaking it myself, just other people seem to. Body Wear Satisfaction the bodysuit isnt lined but fits like a dream. It is snug in some places but looser in the right areas. i’d say maybe the neck comes down just a litttle bit low, so sometimes you can see some of the lined edge (which is pink, I kinda wish it was orange, or just went up higher) only when I look up is when you notice it though. I have had a seam pop already which did bother me, only because I didnt bring a sewing kit with me, as I didnt think I’d need it after one con, but I did. The zipper came apart from the fur, but I was able to fix it pretty easily. The issue with some Morefurless suits (after taking with some other owners) is they arent reinforced the best. the sewing is done in one loong line, rather than in smaller sections. Its not a huge issue for me as I know how to sew, but I think this is one of the things they need to work on for the future, and has been my major criticism other than problems with the feet (see below). Visual Satisfaction The symmetry of the suit is 100% perfect. I supplied the orange fur and it looks really great on the suit, I thought they might shave it down a bit more, but I actually really love the shaggy look and glad they didn’t! Special Attachments and Features The legs have padding, and are just made out of two inserts filled with polyfill and made out of lycra I believe. they’re comfy but do shift around a little, but nothing too annoying nor noticeable. I did have a seam pop on one of those as well, and these are something that definitely should have been double stitched, because unlike fur backing, there’s no way it could tear, so it wouldve been nice to see that extra durability applied there at least. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction The hands are a little loose and I have to pull them up quite a bit but, I do have extremely small hands, did send them a template of my hand but having them bigger DOES suit the toony style so I’m not that fussed. The sockpaws are nice and comfy. No complaints there. The only real issues I had were the heavy duty footpaws. They did not fit well on my foot, despite the shoes being the right size, the slip off my feet and cause me to trip. The shoe doesnt seem to be designed to hold the weight, also, during about my 3rd time wearing the suit, the strap in the shoe already broke. But they’ve offered to fix it once I bought up the issues. I’ll be sending it for repairs soon with my own spare shoes. Visual Satisfaction They all look absoluttely fantastic. perfect symmetry, gorgeous design and shaved super neatly. I did notice a nick in the very ends of like, two claws but its not really a big deal at all. Special Attachments and Features The paws have padded inserts as I wanted them to be super rounded, they’re removable too so its easier to clean which is nice! 🙂 Tails Wear Satisfaction The tail is good, maybe slightly longer than dibs original design but it works with the entire suit, i just gotta try and avoid it dragging on the ground (im short lol!). the hole in the bodysuit is maybe slightly too big, but I plan to fix that pretty easily so eh! Visual Satisfaction Tail looks great, no complaints! Overall Product Satisfaction How was your concept art realized? as I said earlier, they matched the character 100%. I asked for a few things slightly different to the ref I provided, and they nailed it. I could not be happier honestly. How well does everything fit together and match up? Looks fantastic, I especially like how they made the chest fur longer than the tum fur. Overall Project Quality How satisfied are you with the overall quality of your project? Honestly, 95% satisfied. The problems I’ve had arent hard to fix and have not ruined the overall experience. Dibs really just has already improved my life! I love them! Purchase Process Initial Contact Was super easy, no troubles at all. Just a quick form and email. Maker Response Time Only took about a day for a reply at the most any time I sent an email. Maker Professionalism Basil has always been super nice to communicate with! Sways as well, and they have both been apologetic and super helpful with the issues ive had. How satisfied are you with the overall customer service with the maker? As I said, really no complaints with that, they’re super easy to get in contact with. I also asked for WIPS all throughout the process, and got enough to be able to give feedback to small things I wanted changed etc so that was great! Project Completion Time How satisfied are you with how the deadline was met for completion of your project? I was very satisfied. It was a little stressful as it couldve arrived the day I left, but it was on time and they worked super hard to get it to me on time, so for that I was super grateful for. Final Comments Really just don’t think I couldve gone with a better maker to bring dibs to life. Their style of suits is so so gorgeous and there are really no other makers like MoreFurLess, super toony, super fun, SO much personality to their work. They always aim for the satisfaction of the commissioner too. I would recommend them but make sure the person commissioning them is just super clear about what they want, that always makes things run smoother. The cons I had was any of the small issues listed, but nothing has been that bad nor turned out to ruin it whatsoever. I figured there might be some teething problems like with most suits, no huge disasters at all. 🙂 I think if MFL takes in some of the criticism with durability stuff, it would have gotten 100% from me!
