Overall

Initial ContactIt was very easy to contact the maker for a quote.

Maker CommunicationWhile there were some small delay issues, the maker was incredibly communicative and transparent about issues, progress, as well as the actual process, not to mention that he was very nice and fun to talk to.
It did not take the maker long to respond to my initial messages. Everything was clear and understood.

Project Completion TimeThe project took less time than expected, however it did take longer than the maker originally stated. I was not left in the dark however. The reasons for any delays or issues were explained clearly. It was also clear that this was a special case and is not a common issue with this maker, judging by previous project times. Shipping was very quick, it even arrived days before it was expected to.

Overall Project QualityI am incredibly satisfied with the suit! Initially the hands were unwearable, however that was resolved very quickly. There was only one real delay with the making, however it was understandable and was not an issue. The suit matches the design of the character incredibly well and feels very comfortable to wear once everything is on. There is only one comfort issue which I am able to fix myself, which is the inside of the head resting it's weight on my nose.
I adore the looks of the suit, and many others did when I brought it to its first convention. Everything looks wonderfully toony and appealing.
Outside of small difficulties putting the hands on, the suit is incredibly easy and comfortable to wear once its all on. Nothing feels too heavy. The hands aren’t very articulate, but that is ok considering they are hooved hands.
Overall, it has exceeded my expectations and I am very satisfied.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head overall is very comfortable and is actually feels very well ventilated.
The fit isn't too tight, however there is a small issue in the front. It doesn't fit to my forehead enough and it ends up resting all the front weight onto my nose, which gets uncomfortable after a while, though this can be fixed by just adding a foam pad to the inside of the forehead.
The vision is good, but navigating crowds is difficult without a handler.
I am satisfied with the head but inly need to make that small addition myself. I likely will have done this already.

Visual SatisfactionThe symmetry is very good and I love how the hair goes to the side as it does in references.
The shaving is good and the fur length is satisfactory at all points.
The material is very good. I was worried about the antlers falling off or getting damaged due to them moving around a lot, however there have been absolutely no issues with them.
I'm very happy with the expression as well as the appearance. The maker really captured the look of the art I gave him. I'm very satisfied with the eyes in particular. I'm happy with how he did the simple toon look that I had drawn.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe hands had to be returned initially as they didn't fit, but they've been refitted and fit much better.
The thumb is a little too far up so there is not much articulation, however that is not much of an issue.

The hands are comfortable once they're on and they stay on, however the wrists are a little tight and i am slightly worry about damaging the hands, as it takes some effort to slip them on. They are totally fine once they're on however. They don't feel tight around my wrists once they are on.
The seams look and feel durable. Nothing has been damaged. The only reason I worry about damaging them is that it takes some effort to put the hands on.
The lining is very comfortable and they absorb sweat well. No issues there.

Visual SatisfactionI love how the hands look, they look exactly as I designed them. I adore the fluffy cuffs and they make it very fun to pose and be expressive.
The shaving is even.
The fur looks very good. Its very soft and easy to brush.
I am satisfied with the material.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail fits well, the only issue is that the belt loops are a little small and tight which makes it difficult to use with some belts.
The seams seem tight and durable.

Visual SatisfactionThe tail looks great and there are no issues. It looks very fluffy and holds together very well.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionI have not worn the feet much, but they feel comfortable. They fit well and I do not feel they would come off by mistake.
Seams are durable.
The lining is comfortable.

Visual SatisfactionThey are visually perfect, if not larger than expected, which is perfectly fine.
Shaving is even.
Fur is soft like the rest of the suit.
The colors are spot on.
They resemble the design perfectly.

Final CommentsRaine was incredibly fun to work with and I should also say has become a friend by the time I received the suit. I received it in early October of 2022 and as of today, mid April 2023, we still talk frequently and I am considering commissioning another item from him. I would absolutely recommend him to any one of my friends. I'm incredibly happy with how it turned out and I look forward to bringing the suit to more events and conventions.
