Reviewer Information Reviewer Instagram: thatthinginthebasement Relationship With Maker The maker IS a friend Prior Experience No, this is my first suit Informed Maker of Issues Yes, the only issues were one of the magnetic eyebrows were a little tricky to line up but it wasn’t impossible. Once they’re on they stay on really well. In the description before I bought Eddie it was mentioned that it was the first time using magnetic eyebrows and that they might be a bit tricky so I knew what to expect. Rhee was very honest about everything and honestly the eyebrows aren’t really that much of an issue. I’d say it’s a pretty minor issue. He’s very breathable and plenty of room. The vision is pretty good, I can see most things in front of me. The blindspots aren’t too terrible. I’d say I just have to turn a bit to see to the sides and directly in front of me. I haven’t had any issues so far with any tears or wearing down of the suit. I really enjoy wearing him places and being outside with him. It takes a really long time before it gets to be too hot when wearing him on a warm day. Visual Satisfaction I’m very satisfied with how Eddie looks. The symmetry is really good the only thing is that the bottom lip was slightly lopsided at first but was very easily corrected. Eddie was a premade that didn’t come with a reference but I love how he turned out. His fur is very smooth and looks amazing. The sewing job was very well done and I haven’t had any issues with rips or tears. The fur is very soft and smooth and is very easy to brush. I’m very satisfied with Eddies overall appearance. You can really tell what he is and his expressions give him a lot of character. He looks very cute and handsome from all angles. The eyes are static but I can still make him look like he’s looking at different things. I think Rhee did an incredible job on Eddie and I’m very pleased with how he looks. In my opinion he’s the best looking eel out there! Special Attachments and Features The eyebrows are magnetic. One eyebrow is a bit tricky sometimes to line up properly but it’s not too bad. Once the eyebrows are on they stay in place very well and don’t come off that easily. Rhee did admit to it being the first time using magnetic eyebrows and that it might be a bit tricky to figure out before I bought him in the description so I knew what to expect. Overall Product Satisfaction How well does everything fit together and match up? Visibly everything looks really good and smooth like it should be. Markings look nice and line up properly. All the colors are very consistent nothing looks out of place. Everything is well sewn together and there’s no gaps. Everything fits perfectly and looks as it should when wearing it. The style of Eddie is actually a bit different from Rhees previous projects using a more toony style and a very different species than the usual. I think Eddie turned out amazing regardless. Overall Project Quality I feel like Eddie met and exceeded some expectations and it was definitely worth the price I paid. I feel like Eddie will last a pretty decent time before he needs to be refurbed. Purchase Process Initial Contact Eddie was a premade that was a head only but I was able to communicate very easily with the maker. I initially contacted the maker through Etsy then eventually Instagram and email. It was very easy to understand what was needed and I had a very pleasant experience overall. Maker Response Time Very satisfied. Usually responded within a half an hour or a few hours. Yes we did switch contact methods from Etsy to instagram and via email. Maker Professionalism The customer service was great! It was really easy to communicate and understand what was needed. The communication was really good I was treated like a friend while being business like. No excuses were brought up Rhee was very honest about everything. Very friendly and understanding and overall very pleasant to work with. Project Completion Time Eddie was a premade head that was shipped within 3 days and it arrived on time.
