Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction This head is extremely comfortable to wear, with excellent vision and breathability. The head fits perfectly without any parts being too big or too small, there is plenty of room at the front of the suit for my face to feel comfortable. There’s possibly not enough space for glasses but if you don’t need them it’s perfectly comfortable. The lining is very comfortable, it is made from a Lycra or spandex material, perfect to keep the wearer comfortable and as cool as it is possible. With this lining and the durability of the head is it so easy to clean using the submerging method. The vision is fantastic, the large area of mesh creating a larger visual range, with only a small blind spot in the middle of the face, however that’s just to be expected. The mouth of the suit is sufficiently hollowed out making the ventilation excellent, that combined this the large area of mesh creates a lot of space for air to enter and escape. This head was great for something I had never experienced before, making it a comfortable and enjoyable experience! Visual Satisfaction The appearance of the suit is amazing! As this was a prepare suit I knew what the finished product would look like before I bought it, therefore it was exactly what I was expecting when it arrived. The shape of the head is near perfectly symmetrical, there are some markings that are a little lopsided but that is being extremely nitpicky and would not stop me from recommending Spliterfox to anyone who was considering a suit. The shave job in the suit is excellent the isn’t a spot on it that is patchy. Transitions between fur length is mostly done through the sewing but it works with the style of the suit. The fur was and still is very soft it looks and feels really nice, it’s super easy to brush out and keep from becoming matted or messy. The eyes are follow me eyes but they aren’t the most “follow me” they still looks amazing the paint job is beautifully done and symmetrical in both eyes.the expression is very cute and happy, is can get an even happier expression if I tilt the head up a little bit definitely a good suit for anyone who likes cute. Hands and Feet Wear Satisfaction The hands of this suit are pretty basic five finger paws. They are very comfortable and are excellently made. They are very comfortable as they have plenty of space to move but they aren’t so big that they are falling off. As they aren’t stuffed with anything the dexterity of the paws is excellent. They aren’t lined at all but I don’t think that is a disadvantage as they are easy to put on and take off even with the other paw on. I unfortunately haven’t worn the feet paws very much as they are sock paws. Due to only going to meets and places that are outside I don’t feel comfortable wearing them outside until I can get some suit shoes or something. However the few times I have worn them, they have been extremely comfortable and nice to wear. They are sized to fit a foot bigger than mine but due to the nature of sock paws they don’t fall off easily unless I shake my foot violently. They are lined with a quilted fabric which possibly makes them a little hot but that is after quite awhile wearing them. Even without some sort of stability your foot doesn’t easily slide around in them, they are perfectly stuffed to be put on easily but also retaining their shape well. So far all of the seams on both the hands and the feet have stayed intact and feel like they are hard to break. Visual Satisfaction Both the hand and feet paws look very nice. Though I do prefer more puffy Rooney style of hand paws I am very happy with how these paws look. The hands have two colours of fur with a third colour for the minky on the paw pads. The shave job on them was the tiniest bit uneven on the tips of the paws but that was just some little strands of fur that were easily trimmed and fixed so definitely not complaining. All parts of the paws are symmetrical and look very pretty. On the feet paws the paw pads are made from a sparkly vinyl which I couldn’t see in the pictures online so that was a nice surprise when the suit arrived. The fur is the same of that on the head so they are consistent in both colour and softness. Tails Wear Satisfaction I love the tail that came with this suit, it is perfectly sized for being a cat tail, not to small. The attachment to my body Is a simple two loop attachment for a belt and it is very comfortable and easy to attach. There was a small pop in one of the seams on the belt loop but I was sitting on it for a while over a few days at a convention and it was very easy to fix. Other than that the tail is very durable. Visual Satisfaction The tail is made from rings of fur fabric which all line up with each other very nicely without any sort of misalignment. Other than the stripes it is basic tail with no shaving. It is a great tail in both looks and durability. It’s also made from the same fur as the rest of the suit so is consistent with the softness and and colours. Overall Product Satisfaction How well does everything fit together and match up? Everything on their suit is amazing and match up nicely. As it is a partial lining things up isn’t necessary but the colours and fur all matches. I had never seen this maker before I saw this suit so I didn’t know the consistency of their style until after I looked into them more afterwards but all the suits I’ve seen of them look similarly styled while all being unique. Overall Project Quality Overall I adore this suit and am extremely happy with the product that I received, it is extremely well made and very cute. It definitely exceeded my expectations in a suit, as I said I had never worn a suit before but I had heard they can be uncomfortable. This suit is extremely comfortable and I love it. This suit has lasted a year and half and had no torn seams or major issues so I expect that it will last for a long time yet. It is absolutely worth the price I paid and if I could have afforded it I would have bought another premade the maker made after this suit. Purchase Process Initial Contact I found the premade being advertised on Twitter, and was easily able to email them asking about the suit. I made a mistake in reading the description but they were very nice in answering my questions. They clearly labelled the details and measurements of the suit. Maker Response Time Due to being in different countries there was some time difference in between messages to each other but they always answered emails in a timely manner. Maker Professionalism SplinterFox was extremely professional, they quickly answered all my questions and shipped the item as soon as they had the funds from me. The communication was all business like, however this was not in a bad way, the communication was as a would have expected and had no issues. Project Completion Time Due to this being a premade I did not need to wait for it to be completed. They sent the suit the day after I paid for it. Final Comments Due to the nature of buying a premade I didn’t get to work with the maker for very long, but with the amount I did they were excellent. If given the opportunity I would absolutely work with them on a custom or a premade suit and I’d happily work with them again. They were friendly and happy to help me when I said that I had never bought a suit before. When I asked about cleaning suit and if there were any special requirements to take into consideration they were happy to help me and direct me to things that could help. Overall the suit and the experience working with this maker was excellent and would recommend them to anyone who was considering them or if they didn’t know who to get a suit from.
