Prior ExperienceNo, this is my first ever fursuit!

Wear Time30+ hours

Informed Maker of IssuesYes, I did! The maker was made aware of my sensory sensitivities, and thus everything, (including the paws), was very kindly lined for me. I was also informed how to fix any rough looking bits that occurred during shipping, in addition to receiving a care guide too that cleared up a lot!

Overall

Initial ContactIt was very easy to contact Pinuh for a quote! She notified the opening of her quotes through her Twitter, and responded to quote forms through email rather quickly. It was easy for me to understand exactly what she needed, and I was never left in the dark or confused.

Maker CommunicationThis particular maker was just amazing with customer service and keeping in contact. I was never left in the dark about anything whatsoever, and she was completely willing to answer my gazillion questions regarding the fursuit, due to my inexperience with ordering one.

Project Completion TimeI am satisfied with the completion time, so don't be fooled by the project not meeting the initial ETA! The suit took longer because it ended up being more detailed of a job than initially expected, and new materials had to be ordered. I could have rushed it, and stated I wanted it on-time no matter what; if I did so, I am sure I would have gotten it, but I didn't want the maker to be stressed because fabric took extra time to ship due to Covid. Instead, I was given a very meticulously crafted suit, and was not charged extra for materials despite openly offering to do so.

Overall Project QualityPhenomenal! If I had the cash on me right now, I'd commission Pinuh all over again! My expectations were absolutely exceeded, especially considering Pinuh is still such a small maker. A straight 10/10, especially for what I paid. Even my non-furry relatives were thoroughly impressed, and kept talking about how much they loved it, which is pretty cool considering they're not into the hobby! Everything fits together really well, too, with all fabrics and markings matching effectively. Nothing looks or feels very 'off' to me, especially when in use!

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionWearing this suit head is absolutely wonderful. The breathability is PHENOMENAL, and being someone with breathing problems myself, that's really saying something. As previously mentioned, the inside of the head is completely lined, leaving no uncomfortable textures to be found. In addition, the head is not at all too heavy, and the vision in it is great! I have almost a full field of vision, which I was very impressed by. I was also super surprised to hear myself speaking in this suit, since I did do a few personal recordings as a test. I can be heard loud and clear, with next to no muffling, which is super awesome! The head also includes a neck, which is standard on all of Pinuh's suit heads.

Visual SatisfactionOh, this head is absolutely beautiful! In fact, I have trouble saying which I like more — the original reference, or the suit head itself! It's definitely stylized by the maker, but in the most wonderful way that really enhances the personality of the character. So much personality and life! In terms of the specifics, the head is nice and even. The shaving is swell, and there is no visible backing, glue, or anything anywhere. The material is of a high quality, and thus far has lost very little fur with wearing and brushing it. The eyes are follow-me eyes, and they're done super well in my opinion! Overall, very satisfied with both the look and feel of the head! As a sidenote, the horns do not follow the gradient of the reference, but this was discussed and agreed upon beforehand, so it's exactly what I wanted! The same goes for the tongue, which was not initially present on the reference, but I asked for it as a finishing touch.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe handpaws are just as excellent as the head! They fit perfectly to my body specifications, and are pretty durable. They too are lined on the inside, and super comfortable. It's a smooth textured lining, with a fabric that dries fairly quickly, so sweat isn't much of an issue, nor is sanitization. The fabric pattern even matches the rainbow theme of the character, which I think is super cute! Do note, however, that the lining was personally requested by me, and was done at no extra cost. The paws are easy to get on and off, easy to clean, and the maker even included little tags to remind me which one is right and which is left! This is probably not a big deal for some designs, but my character has two differently colored paw pads, and it can be very easy to mix them up. Pinuh paid great attention to detail, and it shows!

Visual SatisfactionThey look amazing! Pinuh even took extra time to get the shape of the 'sprinkles' on Haribo's fur juuust right, doing tests beforehand to show me what the effect would look like. In addition, as I said before, Haribo has two differently colored paws, and the maker took great pains to ensure that they were 100% correct! Nothing is lopsided or unattractive on these paws, and the materials match that of the head. The shave is great, and the varying lengths match what I wanted for them. The concept art is matched pretty much perfectly, in my opinion.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail is also well-crafted, and includes a zipper for me to adjust the stuffing/weight as I see fit. This is very useful, as the tail is large, and different clothing can only handle so much weight! It is worn as many other tails are, making use of two elastic loops to hook onto a belt. Easy to get on, easy to get off. No trouble to be had whatsoever!

Visual SatisfactionHonestly, the tail looks great! It's the exact length I wanted, and the maker tried very hard to get it the exact size and shape that I requested, doing multiple different test patterns before we finally got it exactly how I liked it. Initially, there was a bit of a mistake with the spots, but Pinuh was extremely quick to fix it and didn't give me any trouble whatsoever! No noticeable remnants of the mistake are visible on the tail currently. It's like it never even happened! The tail moves very well, and is actually far more flexible than it appears, which I very much like. The feel of the fur is sleek and satisfying. The tail does not have an airbrush-type gradient like the reference, but this alternate pattern was worked out in the quote stage, long before the suit was ever created. As far as I am aware, Pinuh does not offer airbrush work, but this does not bother me at all personally. I enjoy how the tail came out!

Special FeaturesMy suit comes with magnetic eyelids! The maker was such a trooper with them, too. There were probably four different versions of them created, and still she was willing to remake them for me, even getting new materials to match the fur on the head like I wanted! Eventually, we got them just perfect, and I am forever thankful for Pinuh's patience. She did not charge me any extra or anything for this service, and they function very well. They never fall off or attach poorly!

In addition, this particular suit comes with a REAL zipper neck! This matches the reference of my character. Instead of just going for replicating it with fabric, Pinuh went out of her way and found an actual zipper, which is as close to the reference as one can get in real life! I wasn't charged extra for this either, though considering how kind the maker is, I would have paid for certain if asked! It does not impede me in any way, nor does it negatively affect the appearance of the neck.

Final CommentsPlease commission Pinuh! She is so kind and accommodating. She even included a bunch of extra goodies with my suit that I didn’t expect, such as the badge featured in the suit images! Truly the cherry on top of a wonderful suit and experience. I couldn't have picked a better maker for my first fursuit, and I am glad I entrusted her with one of my most precious fursonas!
