I submitted a quote through the google form on her website and was contacted roughly a day later. All communication initially is through email. As they adjust your quote, they will keep it all in one email chain so changes are trackable. I found her through FurList, and then followed her twitter and website for openings. Only real requests from me were a few basic measurements. Payment was through paypal invoice. Maker CommunicationOn point. Not too often to be bothersome, but not so sparse to be worrisome. After commissioning, communication switched from email to twitter DMs and eventually discord. I received updates as progress was made and they would make sure I agreed with the direction before proceeding. They were open to any changes and gladly worked with me. If I was ever confused about what I was looking at, she broke it down and explained it so I'd understand. Project Completion TimeProject was projected as a month to completion time and met that easily. Expectations were clear for all involved parties. Once shipped, I got a picture of the tracking number to keep up with it. Overall Project QualityI couldn't be happier! It fits well, is super soft and cozy, was made within the time frame I was initially given, and had a great/open communication with the maker. I don't think you could find a more reliable, thoughtful, and considerate kigu maker. Components One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionFirst perfect! The maker will request several measurements to get your general shape. The "crotch" of the suit lands right around my knees, which is perfect! It fits exactly how I imagined a kigu would fit. It's soft and cozy and warm! As for build it's very well built. All seems are durable. I've run around my house and played with my dogs and haven't felt or heard any popping. Since it's a kigu it's not lined. It does have pockets (huge) that are well placed. Visual SatisfactionAgain, no complaints. Everything is symmetrical to a T. The colors are spot on to my character, and the maker involved me early to show me all the available options and make sure we were on the same page. The facial emboridery is stunningly cute and highly customizable. I honestly don't think I could have said any one thing the maker would have balked at. Special FeaturesNot so sure if they're a "special feature", but the hood does have not only ears, but horns and styled hair! While they do weight the hood down some, it's nothing outside of what I would expect! The ears have and adorable wobble to them.
