The contact process was very easy, I submitted a quote and got the information quickly! Frenzy helped clear up any questions I had and is very friendly!
Frenzy is very good with communication, she gives updates on the progression of the suit, wait times are accurate, and is overall both professional and friendly.
The completion time was accurate. Frenzy gave accurate ETAs on how long it took for the fur for my suit to arrive so she could start working on it, other completion times on different commissions from individuals, and the completion time of my suit itself. She also gave me an accurate estimate on the shipping time as well!
I am super happy with how Jäger turned out! The entire commissioning experience was wonderful! The pricing is perfectly reasonable for the extraordinarily high quality of the suit! I wore Jäger for a furcon for over 7 hours and there were zero issues with the suit, even with pretty high activity and movement! The suit itself looks amazing, the colors are perfect and the overall look is phenomenal! That seems to be a pretty mutual agreement since all of the interactions regarding the suit have been amazing! The fursuit also matches the previous work from the maker, and matches the same distinct style and overall expression!
Very comfortable – head is made for specific shape based off of measurements.
Decent ventilation, decent size mouth as well as the large eyes make it a comfortable experience without warming up too quickly, there are also small holes on the nose that help as well.
The vision is good, the eyes are large and your visibility is not impacted that much besides peripheral vision and the nose bridge, which is seen in all fursuits. You can also see by looking out of the mouth.
Amazing! Character was based off of an original reference sheet, then I was given a fursuit reference sheet by Frenzy to show what the final product would look like. It was just as expected based off of the fursuit ref and what I was shooting for. The eyebrows look good when added via magnet, and can also customize which tongue to apply via velcro! The shaving and symmetry is on point, and the fursuit has an amazing quality feel to it. The expression is what I was looking for, as well as giving me the ability to customize with the magnetic eyebrows.
The handpaws fit me very well, and are a comfortable but snug fit to make sure that they don't fall off. When I first put them on, I needed to slightly break them in, but they now fit me perfectly. I also needed to get used to where to position my fingers inside the handpaws, but after some trial and error I got them on correctly and they fit well. The handpaws themselves are durable, and the frictional forces of me taking them on and off over time does not seem to impact the inner lining. The inner lining itself is made of a breathable mesh that does a good job absorbing sweat for short-term use. Unsurprisingly though, after a long period of wearing the handpaws nonstop, they do get somewhat sweaty. I fixed that problem by just airing them out for around 45 minutes and they were dry!
The looks of the handpaws are amazing, both the front and the back look great! The inner-part of the paw-pads are also padded and make them pop and retain an amazing visual shape. The materials that make up the handpaws follow the same high quality standard as the fursuit head, and have zero coloring inconsistencies with the head itself!
The tail has a decent weight and amazing feel to it, and I can comfortably wear it with zero issues. It all comes down to wearing a comfortable belt, which is up to the individual's preference. The tail itself comes with a belt loop, and since I own a somewhat thicker belt, I just needed to break it in a little bit, but once I did it comes off easily yet still retains whatever position you put it in originally without it moving around.
The patterns I have on the tail are somewhat complex, but it looks amazing and was well-executed, and retained the same look as the concept art from both my own ref sheet and the fursuit ref sheet. The tail also matches both the handpaws and the head with coloring. The tail is also symmetrical and lines up with the position of the belt, there is no lopsidedness. Even for a shorter tail (~12 inches or so) it still moves quite well!
