The maker took possibly up to a week on contact. She had to review her candidates before deciding which commission's to take at first. Then. About three days after for discussion.
She treated me with kindness, and had a few jokes here and there. Treated me like a friend.
The process was streamlined and discussed every part of the way.
The project was a month behind schedule, only due to several other events taking place. She became guest of honor at a local Colorado convention.
The time expectations were discussed through their group chat at the time.
The outfit was shipped less than a week from completion.
Overall performance of the suit is a nine out of ten. As it's my first suit, I can comfortably say it is a perfect fit for me. It has its ups and downs, but minor issues don't cause any issues with wearing and comfort.
Slight visual issue, though colorblindness through colored mesh can be problematic.
Fit overall is delightful. Enough room to breathe and is lined comfortably. Clean up is a 9 out of 10.
Material on the inside of the head doesn't seem to retain any sweat or smell from prolonged use.
The look of the horse is an overall 9 out of 10. The only thing that might be an issue is the slight off symmetry of the jaw. It adds characteristic feel, but can be viewed differently by some. It however, matches my character perfectly.
Shaving is even, smooth, hard to even tell where any stitching is. Holds the Emerson in.
The perfect fit for my stature. Comfortable to wear and even lounge in during colder nights.
Quality is also a 9 out of 10. Only issue is just a few dried spots of glue on the interior that can be removed easily. Most likely left on from the head mold or applying the interior.
Airflow and breathable are perfect. Room to fit my fist through and enjoy a small snack on some occasions.
The bodysuit is perfect. Symmetrical with my pattern.matches the character design perfectly.
Shaving was shorter than expected for the full body, but works well with the artists vision.
The fur is soft, silky even.
The color pallet is lovely, bright white and dark black.
Hands are alittle rough at the early stages. They were custom fit for my hand size, but the stitching does need to be broken in.
Quality of the hands is great, allows for holding items with ease and access the zippers when needed
The stitching at the base of each finger is, as mentioned, rough at first. But, I did request tight fitting fingers. This issue can be resolved by wearing latex or Padding underneath my own gloves.
Solid 9/10
Gloves are symmetrical and neat.
The shaving is, as with the rest of the suit. Perfect.
The material looks and feels soft and smooth on the outside.
The tail is shorter than expected, but works better than expected for the full design.
The quality and durability on the tail is as expected. Medium-sized fur for a horse tail. Wears acceptionally comfortable on a belt loop.
The silky feel of the tail feels almost that of an actual horse.
The feet are perfect. The fit and feel of the hooves make it cozy and comfortable for hours to wear.
The quality of the feet hooves are better than I expected, with a leather feeling material.
Interior design feels like walking on fluff. Lined with a material that's easy to clean.
Symmetric and we'll designed.
Shaving is even on the hooves
Satisfaction with the color choice matches that of the full suit.
