Overall

Initial ContactFilling out Nari's quote form from her initial instagram DM was really easy! It laid out every element of the costume and the price estimates for each feature in a way that was easy to understand.

Maker CommunicationNari was super pleasant to work with and responded very fast! Everything was communicated clearly and my questions were answered right away.

Project Completion TimeI was super happy with the time it took to finish my suit! It took a bit longer than her initial estimate but just barely, and I had no deadline to hit so I was in no rush. I think 6 months for a suit of this quality is a perfectly reasonable amount of time to wait. when he was done, he shipped out right away and I had tracking. I had no problems with shipping via USPS at all.

Overall Project QualityI am so happy with this fursuit, not only does it look great but my experience working with Nari was so professional. The WIP images and updates were regular, and I felt really involved in the whole project. I really loved getting to choose my exact furs from a small list of options. The payment through square was also super easy and I liked how it allowed for payments. It kept track of everything automatically and even allowed her to give me an itemized price breakdown of my suit parts. Even when the ETA got pushed a little bit, she was so helpful and communicative that I did not mind one bit. The whole process really exceeded my expectations.

My suit feels super durable and looks amazing. I know he will last me for years to come, and I'll cherish him forever. He really feels like a professional product, much more than any other fursuit I have personally owned or worn.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionLucky's head is extremely comfortable! He is lined with a breathable fabric , has follow-me eyes, detachable eyelids and tongue, and his nose even has real little nose holes.

The vision is amazing without the detachable eyelids, and still very good with them on. The eye mesh is easy to see through and adds a good amount of ventilation.

The eyelids attach with velcro and I never feel like they are at risk of coming off when I am suiting. The removable tongue is also very secure, even when I have it sticking out far and only half of the velcro patch is attached. The bare velcro is not ugly at all when the eyelids are off either, it blends in seamlessly with the rest of the eyeliner. Perfect balance of function and appearance!

If I had one complaint, it would be that the neck attaches a bit far up on the chin, which usually means it folds up when I wear the suit with his collar. This does not cause any discomfort when I wear just the head on its own though! the collar was my own addition though, so that is mostly on me. The neck itself is sewn immaculately and the ends of the fabric are finished so no raw fur edges are left.

Visual Satisfactionthis head looks awesome! it is perfectly matched to my reference art. the follow-me eye effect works great and the paint job on the eyes matches my reference. The furs are the perfect color, the proportions look right, and nothing is asymmetrical. Nari even included a suprise little squaker in his hair that is super fun! The fur used is also very high quality, it stays looking smooth for hours and does not clump up or mat easily. A light combing is all I have ever needed to have it looking new again, even after long suiting periods. He is super cute and expressive! the parts of his head that can be adjusted to change up his look are perfect. The only nitpicks I would have are that his horns are a little too far up on his head but that is 100% on me, because Nari was so thorough with WIP's and receptive to any changes I wanted. Like I mentioned above, his neck is sewn on a bit far up the chin, so sometimes it can look kind of awkward. This is the only real complaint I have though, and it is pretty minor.

Hands

Wear Satisfactionthese hands are super comfy! they are lined with the same breathable fabric as the head. The padding on them is soft and no bits of glue or seams can be felt from the inside. They are sewn securely and have finished edges. The paw pads are sewn down with a really secure stitch as well. The padding sits at a super comfortable position and allows for the palms of my hands and my fingertips to still be functional enough for things like doors and holding objects securely. The padding extends mostly off of the back of my hands. I've even managed to play some video games while wearing them, which is super impressive considering how puffy and toony they are. They stay on my hands securely, and don't fall off or slide around. they fit like a glove! (pun absolutely intended.)

Visual SatisfactionThese paws are super cute! the individual toe beans are all shaped symmetrically. The puffiness gives a perfect cartoony look. The shaving is once again perfect and the fur is super soft and easy to groom.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThis tail is really comfortable! It is not heavy at all and the belt loops are really secure. It is sewn securely and I have never felt like it was at risk of breaking, even when pulled roughly a few times.

Visual SatisfactionThis tail looks awesome! It matches my concept art perfectly. The shaving is once again super even and no fur backing is showing. The tail is shaped perfectly and the foam armature to hold the spade-tail shape looks great. It moves really nicely when I walk and looks natural despite it having a foam core. The tail tip does not weigh it down and it stays pointed up just like my concept art.
