Prior ExperienceNo, this is my first suit.

Wear Time3 hours

Informed Maker of IssuesYes, the vision on the suit is difficult and the maker suggested adjusting the way I was wearing the head. The head is quite large so it took me a few tries to get used to it.

Overall

Initial ContactVery easy. I was contacted a day after I sent in the commission request and received an estimate.

Maker CommunicationMaker contacted me every week with commission updates. They sent plenty of photos and videos of the suit. Any time I wanted to ask a question or request an add on, they responded within 24 hours without fail. They clearly layed out what to expect during the commission process and I was treated very well during the whole process. They were very friendly. We also met once during a video call during which they described to me the process and their work.

Project Completion TimeThe project was completed FAST. As soon as I paid off the commission, they started on it right away. They worked on my and my friend's suit at the same time and they were both shipped and completed at the same time. The suit was finished faster than expected. (Please refer to the dates above, as you can see the suit was completed FAST)

Overall Project QualityOverall I am very happy with the fursuit. With this being my first fursuit I was a bit nervous about choosing a smaller maker, but I am happy with it overall.

A few notes
It has come to my attention that this maker might be starting NFTs (retweeted twitter account CryptoFoxClan which uses a style very similar to the one used by them). Also you might find a post on twitter criticizing their use of the "rising sun" iconography.
This review is strictly on the quality of their suits. I do not support RSKemono's support of NFTs and I do not have any attachment to them. So while this review is getting a YES it is strictly on the quality of their suits and suit business and not their social media presence or business practices outside of fursuits.
For any possible commissioners, know that they did not pressure me to not say anything nor did they pressure me to do this review. I did do a review for them on their on google form, but they were questions based on build quality and suit commission process.

Overall: The suit build quality is very good and extremely well made. Head, paws, and feet are lined. Body suit fits perfectly. Seams are smooth and well done.
A few unique features I didn't mention above:
The head is based on a hand made head sculpt. (though it is similar to their other feline heads)
The padding is actually a pair of "pants" made with the same sheer silky material the paws are lined with. This makes it very easy to put on and off the padding. I can take the suit on and off by myself.
Finger escape holes for the paws were not on the commission info, but I requested for the feature and they were happy to accommodate.

Components

Head

Wear SatisfactionThis is probably my least favorite part of the suit. In short, the head is difficult to see out of and very heavy. Fan is a bit too close to the mouth due to the head sculpt being that for a feline.

Head fits loosely like a bucket, but fan and muzzle placement are very close to the lips meaning they can sometimes slip towards your face. The head is a bucket style, meaning it is very roomy except for the very front. With the head base having such a small muzzle, the fan placement is a bit too close. The fan itself is strong and relatively quiet. It is finger safe and does not cut.

Head was lined with minky fabric. I found that it wicks sweat well though I only wear the head with a balaclava on, so the balaclava wicks more sweat than the fabric.

Ventilation is good due to the inclusion of a fan. However the fan and batteries make the head very heavy towards the back. Fan is, as mentioned above, very close to the face.

Vision is limited from the front. Suit has more peripheral vision than front vision. The eyes use a sunglasses like lenses instead of mesh vision, which results in clear tinted vision. The fan is necessary to prevent vision from fogging. Without the fan the vision will start to fog, but the fog will not show up on the outside.

Visual SatisfactionI like the unique kemono style for the character, though it is not my absolute favorite shape for the kemono style.

Head is very symmetrical with no lopsided markings. Though the head can look lopsided from some angles it is more due to the camera angle than the head itself.

The shaving is even and smooth. I did ask the maker to shave the sides a bit more which I think makes it a bit cleaner of a look.

The fur is smooth and thick, no crunchiness. The markings are sewn on and do not bleed. The yellow parts are UV fur. The UV fur feels coarser than the other fur but it does not bleed and looks bright and vibrant.

The expression is very neutral and is not adjustable. There are no eyelids and the eyes are static.

The artist sent a concept art in their style to me before starting. The maker did modify my original style to match the kemono style and I am happy with the outcome. No markings were omitted.

Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe paws are fantastic and fit perfectly. I have thin wrists (I can wear kid sized bracelets) and the paws were made to my wrist size. This does make it hard for other people to wear them but they fit me perfectly. The paws are lined with a cool silky fabric which makes them easy to wear and not too sweaty. The paws allow for good movement. I am able to put my fingers all the way through the fingers.
I requested for the maker to add finger escape holes in the paws. The escape holes work great and make the paws more convenient to use.
The paws are very durable and sturdy. Seams are well hidden and sewn. Lining has no bumps.
I also requested for the paws to use galaxy printed minky which the maker was happy to incorporate. The fabric does show white but that is due to the nature of the printed fabric. Fur used is very high quality and soft.

Visual SatisfactionThe paws are more toony and less animal/feral like. While I do like the fit and feel of the paws, I wish they did look a bit more animal like. However the paw style matches the kemono style. Because my wrists are thin the paws look bigger than they are in pictures.

Paws are all a solid purple so there are no symmetry issues. The paws were not shaved. Fur material is very soft and the inner lining is very smooth. The paws match the concept art.

Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail is very long but easy to wear. The maker uses a large velcro waist belt (which was included) which helps to support the lower back while also giving the tail support. My tail is very long and drags since it is a cat's tail. There is a slight curl at the end of the tail, which gives it cute character. The tail is sewn well and very durable.

Visual SatisfactionVisually the tail looks great and matches the suit well. It does drag but with the tail being all black, I do not have to worry about staining.

Feet

Wear SatisfactionI purchased only the indoor feet. The feet use a Croc shoe as the base. The maker asked me my croc size before starting on the commission. The feet are very easy to wear as a result and can be modified with innersoles. It is easy to slip them on and off. However the croc being a plastic material means that sweat gets collected easily. But the crocs dry relatively quickly and can be wiped down.
The feet are a bit large for the toony look so they can be difficult to use.

Visual SatisfactionVisually the paws look fantastic with the suit. The paws are symmetrical and the bottom pads look very even. The shaving is even though the upper parts of the paws are not shaved. The material of the fur is high quality, same as the rest of the suit. The feet match the concept and the overall design.

Special FeaturesThe head has an internal fan which helps keep the head cool and prevents the eyes from fogging. Though the fan is too close to my face, it is relatively quiet and finger safe.
The yellow fur markings are UV fur. The UV is vibrant.

Would you recommend this maker?

YES This review has been marked with a positive rating.
This means the reviewer would recommend Rising Sun Kemono.

Final CommentsWhile I do not support their business practices outside of fursuits, I am overall very satisfied with my fursuit. I only recommend them based off of their build quality and service, with the caveat of them starting NFTs. Again I personally do not support NFTs, but this review is solely based on the build quality of the suit.
Service was excellent. Build quality is great.
