Head

Wear Satisfaction

It fits just fine for the most part. It can be difficult to put it on with my glasses, but that isn’t the makers fault. It’s comfortable enough.

The ventilation isn’t great. It gets very hot and stuffy and at times I have to remove my glasses altogether because of how fogged up they get.

The vision is decent. The trunk causes a bit of an extra blind spot (which can be expected). I have to turn my head to see most of my surroundings.

Visual Satisfaction

The tusks are a little uneven. The left sits slightly lower than the right. The rest of the suit is symmetrical. You can see some of the foam around the mouth area but you have to be close to see it. The shaving is even and satisfactory. The fur is easy to brush/smooth out, and even style. The expression is very cute and fun.
Hands and Feet

Wear Satisfaction

The hands are very comfortable to wear and fit great. My only issue is how short they are (wrist length)so I have to be careful with how far a stretch my arm out so my shirt doesn’t come up too much and expose skin. They stay on my hands and are very easy to put on and take off. The seams are durable.

Visual Satisfaction

Everything is satisfactory about the appearance of the hands.
Tails

Wear Satisfaction

The strap of the tail is hard to get onto most belts. Nothing has popped or broken off, though, so that’s a big plus. All of the seams are very durable.

Visual Satisfaction

One thing I don’t like about the tail is that it isn’t stuffed, so it looks really flat and boring. It also moves funny when I walk because of how heavy the bottom is compared to the rest of it.

Overall

Product Satisfaction

How well does everything fit together and match up?
I’m very satisfied with the suits appearance. The tusks aren’t 100% symmetrical but it doesn’t bother me much. It gives the suit some personality. The colors are consistent and the shaving is excellent.

Overall Project Quality
I had hoped for better ventilation and vision, but it’s not terrible for the price I paid. The design was unique and executed nicely. People have commented on the ears looking more like a mouse than a mammoth, but I think they’re cute. This suit will likely be refurbished in the future to fix the air flow.

Purchase Process

Initial Contact
How satisfied are you with how easy it was to initially contact the maker for a quote?
I’m pretty satisfied.

Maker Response Time
She was fairly quick to respond.

Maker Professionalism
Sarahcat was pleasant to work with for the most part. There was a misunderstanding at first but it was resolved quickly.
The customer service was fine. Sarahcat answered my questions in a timely manner and she did tell me that the trunk would get in the way of my vision some.
