It was easy, they posted on twitter that they comissions are open and sent a gmail with my reference and all they asked for. They replied they cant make my first design because they dont own an airbrush to make ombré (it was a siamese cat) so we agree on other design and made my first payment via paypal. I paid half first, and the other half + shipment later. Maker CommunicationIt started on gmail for the first contact and the rest of the time on twitter. The maker usually reply on 24 hours, it depends if its night time in china. The communication was super easy, take in mind they are chinese and try english. Its not a need or a obligation to know, understand or be fluent in english, Im spanish myself for example, so I get the struggle. I think people is not mindful of this or just dont care. They try their best, they may not reply with the detail or politeness you may expect. There may be misunderstandings but never felt I was mistreated, getting a rude behavior or anything unreasonable. Even when they had to put a small boundary with one of my request they kept being polite. To make things easier I drew what I meant, made circles around the pictures and even sent other of their suits so they get what I mean. Even sent other makers ones too. Never got details of their life, our conversation were always about the comission, no excuses felt, just reasonable and fair explanations. They sent wips of everything, even when i asked for even more because i was hyped up. Told them my expectations on wips. Project Completion TimeIt was tricky to guess what they meant about my ETA, there was a queue of people who where before me. I was aware of where I was in the queue but couldnt fully understand it and had to talk with other comissioners on a group chat to see if they understand it, they did not Sometimes a person who was after other person got updates earlier. Had to ask several times to finally understand, maybe because they didnt know how to explain it better or didnt understand at all, becausew they just repeat the name on the queue and very later they mentioned a month. They got cought in spanish customs and they messed to deliver it several times to the point of it being funny. Had a breakdown and couldnt keep up with their horrible service so my boyfriend managed it. I cant remember which service was used, but they shipped them as priority so it was fast around 2 weeks. Not their fault at the end of they day. They agree to write down it was a gift and the price I wanted it to show for the custom workers. If u know u know… Overall Project QualityI think I address everything. The quality is very good! It was also pretty cheap for nowdays standard prices. I think it was worth it the effort and quality I was served, it met my expectations. All the parts look amazing together, feel like they belong there like they should. My only claim is Im not happy with having to change colors and simplify, because to me pastel colors are pretty much my identity and the freckles look huge. Nothing Im going to die from tbh, thats the only negative thing I can list. And that still was my fault because I could have changed the maker, the only thing that was not my fault is the freckles. Nothing I cant fix too. The expression is cute, its easy to put on just having issues with the zipper and putting the second paw on when the body is on. The hooves and horns could be smoothed down with sand paper. Everything looks durable but the hooves, like i said they are made of 3d printing that feels thin and if I hit them it will get a hole. I hope that never happens haha Everything fits perfectly, no issues with that. The padding looks good and in the shape I wanted, amazing work on the breasts. I dont feel like any piece is under stress when being wear, only the filling bag that I have to pull at it to get in but once its on It falls to the botton, making me waddle but looks how Iwanted Same for the zipper. It match the makers style (comissioned them cuz of it lol) I feel back pain when I put the bodysuit on and I dont know the reason, I dont know if its the weight of the suit but my back hurts just like how bra hurts after a long time. I feel tired after using like I make a excesive effort, but again I dont know why I feel like this but I need to be transparent with the good and the bad things. The stars look like stars and not crappy, all the patterns are symmetrical. I wish the stars where a little more on the front. Components Head Wear SatisfactionI made clear to the maker I wear glasses and would like room for them so I sent an extra measure so they know how I measure them and to take that in mind. The head has a built in helmet so it doesnt wiggle around or move too much even with the fact I never buckle up the helmet. Nothing pokes or hurts, its not uncomfortable. Not lined, not necessary anyways since nothing of the actual face touches my face only the hemlet on the top of my head. Made with a 3d printer and with a small foam piece on the nose bridge. I can get air via the mouth, if I put a plush tongue the air flow is less good. Still I can breath in it. Taking in mind I get anxious and nervous when the air quality is poor and hot…the ventilation is pretty decent, impressed that a almost closed mouth can still get that amount of air. If I lift the head a little so my nose is closer to the mouth I can take a nice breath of fresh air The air builds up a little and it gets hot, but thats what I expect. The vision is amazing! the eyes are printed, pale purple so its almost like nothing. The eyes are big so my blind spot is not that annoying, yes I have to turn the head to see better what is around. Visual SatisfactionIts perfect, I love how soft it is!! the hair is in layers and its actual fur cut and layed on top of each other, its nicely glued down. It looks identical to what I had in mind, my only issue is I didnt expect the freckles to be that big but thats fine to me. May modify that in the future. Its symmetrycal. They match the design. The shaving is clean and good. The fur is super soft doesnt feel low quality The eyes are follow me but since they are so big I dont feel like its that obvious. Different angles may make the snout smoother or the eyes look less round and "friendly" I love it Some markings where eliminated for the sake of the budget and im ok with it. The colors where changed too, originals were pastel colors but the maker said they couldnt get them so we saturated the deisgn. I still like it anyways, its not that deep of an issue for me. Again I wasnt expecting the freckles to be that big nor the ears to look so thin but thats fine too. One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionIts comfortable and I havent get any rash or reaction from my sensitive skin It allows me to sit on my knees, on a chair, lift my arms and pretty much move, still limited. My head and the filling already have a hole, the filling is made of fishnet like material and the seams looks a little weak but nothing I cant fix easily, its human mistake on my eyes. I have been able to move without popping seams, Im also very careful with my moves since im too scared to break it lol No linning only the chest filling as a soft linning. It doesnt absorb sweat and I have to take a shower after because my clothes get damp I turn it outside to let fresh air make the suit dry again, and use a alcohol mix to keep it safe, finish the job turning it again, brush carefully the fur, a couple of sprays of cologne and hang it again. How easy it is to clean may vary, to me its pretty hard the suit is very heavy wet and I dont have a bathtub. I can see marks and seams on the interior, not an issue, doesnt change anything. Its stuffy and hot but thats how I expect all suits to be. Im very intolerant to heat and get very overstimulated so im working on it, its more of a personal perspective than an issue with the suit. Must mention, the maker added a zipper on the front since both my arms are dislocated and dont work the same anymore. The maker recommended not to cuz of aesthetic but I still said to please on the front, so i can put it myself without help but it may be visible. When zipping up it sometimes pinches my skin specially my breasts since they are large and it makes the zipper have issues going up, still I can zip it up with a lot of effort. I sent my dtd the best I could, I am a big person as you can see so I was very worried of my suit since it was their first plussize comissioners as I can notice in their other works. They never judged or were rude, I didnt got charged extra and it fits even when I went up a few kg. I lost 7 kg and it still fits me the same, looser on the belly but visually it doesnt look bad it just gives me more shape so im pretty happy!! Visual SatisfactionAgain it looks very bright and saturated compared to the original design, that was pale, but the maker couldnt find a match so I changed the whole designs colors to match, its not that deep for me. The fantasy colors may not look as good quality or softer due to their fantasy nature but in touch they are the same as the white. Its pretty easy to smooth, I avoid brushing because it pulls too much fur, so only brush when really needed. As mentioned the zipper on the front may be visible a little but its not a problem to me, its like a very faint line. Shaving is the same in all parts of the suits, no shaving done just the tail. Its symmetrycal. They match the design. The fur is super soft doesnt feel low quality The shape is appealing, it gets better because Im losing weight myself but it look just how I like it. The maker took in mind I like strong shapes when view on the side specially the part where the hooves and the legs meet. Took in mind I like "droppy" knees. The boobs are symmetrical and equally stuffed and looks perfect and natural. Its match the concept and the many other drawings I sent. Hands Wear SatisfactionThe hands fit perfectly. Allow not much movement because they are very squishy and filled. They almost reach my elbows so no wrist shows. No slide off. Its hard to get them on when Im using only one hand when using the body too, but without the body its easy. No popped seams, two tiny holes I noticed just now, again I think its just a human mistake. Can do many moves without the seams rip Nothing fallen. Its a fishnet like lining, similar to the filling for the body. It still gets damp, its hard to clean because I cant turn them outside. Visual SatisfactionThey look symmetrical. Good shaving, only a few mistakes. Feel softs like the rest of the body. Same opinion on the colors. They are made of a very soft material like peach skin They match the art. Tail Wear SatisfactionIts sew to the body so I dont notice it much, no isue with getting it on. No seam rip, I dont like to pull at the tail so I dont know. Visual SatisfactionIt is the shape I wanted, the fur is styled a little at the end to make it look fluffy. The star on it is perfect. Colors same. Yes it match the concept. Feet Wear SatisfactionMy feets are also sensitive LOOOL so I was impressed It was comfortable to wear, no blisters or any wound yet. They allow good movement and I feel stable. The ankles dont show They stay on my feet they have a build in crocs I can put the easily. No popped seams, the hooves are 3d printed and not smoothed down with sand paper, but I dont mind. I feel like they are fragile and if I hit the hooves part they will break, hasnt happened yet tho, No lined, its hollow inside its very light weight. Visual SatisfactionLooks perfect to me and the maker took in mind my preference of smaller looking hooves without affecting my feet or comfort. Also the shape of the "elbow". No shaving done to them, symmetrical, it feels cheap on the hoove part, like its going to break if I hit them by accident hard enough, thing that hasnt happened yet but thats my feelings. Theres cheaper makers that obviously make less quality, and theres popular makers with super high prices and (usually) super high quality. Take in mind what u pay is what u get, I think some people is not fair and expect cheap work to be the same as expensive work just because "they paid for it". Im not upset with the holes because they are small and I know how to sew and I think its just human mistake. My suit never felt cheap, poorly done or even fall apart, just small mistakes I can prove because i have pictures and no issues making them public if needed. I think the language barrier also makes damage, not to me but to others who dont understand english is not the only language in the world and theres people who speak it poorly to you because thats the only language you know. I higly recommend to draw everrything U mean, shapes, colors, patterns, filling, sizes… Thats the best way to make sure you made yourself clear. U can also ask them to please send wips on certain part of the making. Ask the question over and over with different words and make it simple almost like a monkey talking jsjs its easier. Its easier for foreigners and google translate to translate accurately simple almost silly sentences. They sent extra fur and a cardboard with samples of all the fur that was used. I have heard nightmares about being a plussize comissioning a fursuitmaker, but my experience was NORMAL!! Never felt judged by my size, never got charged for extra fur but would have paid if needed. The suit fits me perfectly like a glove even after losing 7 kg and when I lose more I will fix the body, but to this day its amazing. My suits as a lot of marking and never had a single issue with one of these seams pop . Very happy with this maker and I hope people who consider them take in mind what I said. I recommend them!
