She opened her commissions through Twitter and I messaged her there. She was very kind and waited for me to ask some of her past commissioners questions, and gave me a quote. Maker CommunicationCatKhakis had excellent communication throughout the whole process. I felt like I was treated well and we were both able to ask each other any questions that we had. Project Completion TimeMouse took longer than I anticipated to be completed, but that was expected based on the review I got from a previous commissioner. She was originally supposed to be completed fairly quickly, but it took about a year for her to be made. Multiple different deadlines were made and would pass, but that was fine as I was receiving communication and progress photos the whole time. Mouse was shipped in a timely matter. Overall Project QualityOverall I am very happy with how Mouse turned out. She looks exactly how I wanted and is great to wear. I am super excited to wear her more often. Components Head Wear SatisfactionMouse's head is wonderful to wear. My only issue is that her head is a bit tight to put on, especially because of my glasses. CatKhakis warned me about this before receiving Mouse so it was expected. Despite it being a bit of a struggle, once I get the head on it’s perfect! I don’t feel like my glasses are being squished once they are in the correct spot. Mouse's mouth lines up almost exactly with mine, allowing really good ventilation. Her eyes are in the perfect spot as well so I have amazing vision. She has the best vision of any fursuit head I have tried on. Mouse also has removable magnetic hair, which turned out to be a super fun feature as it is funny to take it off and make her "bald". She was supposed to have removable magnetic antlers as well, but they ended up being too heavy for the magnets so they are sewn on her head. That is ok with me, as I realized I would probably manage to loose one somehow, and I like the antlers as a permanent part of her design. Another feature Mouse has is a pickable nose! It's a bit tight, but all I really wanted that feature for was to stick a worm on a string in, and worm on a strings fit in perfectly. Finally, Mouse's whole head is lined with a green fabric. Visual SatisfactionVisually I am incredibly satisfied with the way Mouse looks. She is a bit lopsided if you look from the back, but that's ok! I'm not too worried about it, especially because her face looks so good. Her shaving is even, and I haven't noticed any rough patches. All of her fur is clean and smooth. Overall she is accurate to her references and turned out amazing! Hands Wear SatisfactionI am satisfied with Mouse's hand hooves. They fit perfectly and they are super comfortable. The hooves are durable, nothing on them has broken. Finally, they are lined as well with the same material the head is. Visual SatisfactionVisually the hand hooves are perfect. They are symmetrical, and match Mouse's references. Tail Wear SatisfactionI am satisfied with Mouse's tail! It fits my belt perfectly and I love how it moves around when I wag it. The tail is very durable. Visual SatisfactionVisually I am satisfied with Mouse's tail. It matches her design, and I like the meat nub design that was added to it. Feet Wear SatisfactionMouse's feet hooves are comfortable. They feel like giant slippers. Sometimes my feet slide around a bit too much in them and I have to fix them because they get moved around weird, but they don't fall off! They are just slippery on the inside due to the lining. It is a bit tricky to tell what foot is the right and which is the left because they both look and feel pretty much the same. Overall the feet hooves are really nice and I love to wear them!
