She usually announces and opening via twitter or her website. Maker CommunicationCommunication with Gia throughout the whole process is a breeze! Any questions are normally answered same day, and she provides regular updates throughout the course of the build. She's very friendly and offers a very personal touch to her client interactions. Project Completion TimeMy fullsuit was completed over the course of 3 months, and delivered right on time before FWA! She was very open about an potential delays or issues that might occur, and would reach out if anything was going to impact the timeline. Once shipped, the suit was in my possession in 2 days! Overall Project QualityOverall, working with Gia is such an amazing experience. She truly cares about your thoughts/opinions, and wants to bring your character to life the way you want it. Her communication is excellent for everything from timelines, to design, to payment. Looking at the suit on the whole, everything aligns perfectly creating the exact representation I wanted and something that pictures extremely well. Gia's style is so cool and unique and she fit Noir's look into it perfectly. Given the opportunity, I would 100% commission her again for another suit. Her work is extremely well priced for the quality and end product you receive. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe head fits perfectly, and with my glasses! Some modification's were made inside the head to ensure a comfortable fit while wearing glasses, and it helped massively. The inside is lined with a very comfortable neoprene and the neck has a large zipper that is easy to use and zips up easily. The custom 2D eyes have great visibility as I was able to navigate a con easily without a handler. Ventilation is very good, and I never experienced an issue. Visual SatisfactionOverall, Noir came out beautifully! The design was made exactly to his reference and Gia even helped improve his overall design with some great modifications. He has a very friendly and loveable expression. The fur is extremely soft, the shave looks great, and the variability of the fur lengths offer a perfect look. One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionThe body suit fits me exactly! It's very form fitting and I didn't experience any issues putting him on for the first time. After a few wears he's fits even better, getting the body suit on and off is a breeze. There is very strong stitching and I experienced no issues moving around freely. The body suit breaths very well considering there's a lot of long pile fur, and cleaning it for the first time was very easy. It's machine washable and he dried like a charm. Visual SatisfactionVisually, he's stunning! The various markings and coloration stand out well. The markings are shaved down evenly and offer the perfect pop against all his darker colors. The materials used are very high quality and match his ref sheet perfectly. Hands Wear SatisfactionHe has 5 finger paws with the right hand having 3 finger slips to allow use of phone or ease of holding something. They are unlined inside, but this was done intentionally and to very good effect. The work so well while wearing him as a fullsuit or partial. The sewing is very high quality and the paws are very durable (holding up to guitar playing)! Visual SatisfactionThe hand paws look great, and the added touch of vinyl claws give him a premium look. The fur is super soft and the finger slips are easy to get in and out of (great for a first time fullsuiter). Tail Wear SatisfactionThe tail is super light and has a back support to help keep it propped up while suiting. Gia also provided a custom belt that's very comfortable to wear for long session and gives the tail a great natural bounce. The design matches his ref sheet exactly, and has the perfect shape for a wolf. Visual SatisfactionThe tail looks so good while fullsuiting or partialing, it's so light that you almost forget it's there! Aesthetically, it matches his ref perfectly and really complements his overall design. It's made of the same high quality material as the rest of the suit. Feet Wear SatisfactionThe feet paws are an outdoor style and are super comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They were worn for 5+ hours of suiting at FWA and I never experienced any foot pain! The bottom pad material is very durable and holds up extremely well to long use while suiting. The interior is a comfortable neoprene and can be worn easily with socks. Visual SatisfactionThe feet paws are hand carved and look perfect with the whole body suit! The cuffs tuck under the legs of the body suit and look seamless. They are made of the same high quality fur, with vinyl claws that give a very premium look and feel.
