Relatively easy! I reached out a few times over the past couple years to inquire about next openings– there was a small restructuring going on so the openings got delayed, but once they officially opened it was easy! I joined their Patreon to ensure I'd get a slot, and within 24 hours of reaching out for a slot I was contacted.
Roxy is very responsive and is great about getting back to you in a timely manner! Leading up to the start of my project, she'd respond within a few days at the latest (her work hours are pretty standard 8-4!) and we'd just yap, but once my project was started I'd get updates almost every day if not every few days! Initial comms were via email and then moved to Telegram.
There was a few weeks near the end where I was a little nervous about being completed on time, and the updates dropped a little due to them working overtime, but they made sure to give regular updates and I never once felt like I wouldn't get a reply back!
WAS SO FAST. I did pay a rush fee for FWA completion, and they started my suit end of February, putting the entire fullsuit complete in about 2 months give or take! The indoor feet and partial tail were delivered at a later date, before Anthrocon.
Overall I'm obsessed with her. This is a dream come true and Roxy and Flint are truly masters of their craft. Their dedication to R&D and innovation in fursuits is TOP TIER and Roxy's style and attention to detail is just to die for. Flint's incredible technical engineering also really makes these living pieces of art fun AND functional. I am so lucky to now call them friends after bonding over this project, and if you decide to commission them you'll be in incredible hands!
The suit is incredibly durable, easy to wear, beautiful and expressive, and comfortable. Easily worth the cost. My expectations were blown out of the water, and I love that it truly represents the Tiny Wyvern style I was hoping for! It feels like my art and character have come to life.
Head was initially hard to put on due to the way the neck is sewn (form fitting, so you have to kind of 'pop' your head through) but once you figure it out it's easier to get on and off. Once on properly, INCREDIBLY comfortable. Snug enough that it doesn't move around on your face, but also does not pinch anywhere in specific. The base is incredibly sturdy but not hard, and very lightweight for a mostly casted head. I feel like I could toss her around with no damage.
It is lined with neoprene in a color that complements my character, which is a great touch! I still wear a balaclava despite the lining, so cleaning has been easy and minimal.
There is a custom fan built into the snout, attached with velcro for easy replacement if needed, and the wiring is run internally through the back of the head to reach a sewn neoprene pouch to hold the portable battery. I did have to purchase my own portable battery/powerbank the day I was meant to leave for the convention this was delivered at, so that wasn't ideal, but it was not expensive– I just expected it to come with a power source fitted to the pouch they made, and it would have been nice to know this up front, but truly not a big deal. When the fan is off, the suit is still very breathable, I'd say average ventilation, but definitely not too stuffy. The headbase was built with mesh sections on the back of the head, as well as an open mouth/eyes, so it's still great either way, but the fan has really spoiled me and made suiting with her a game changer. I won't ever suit without a built in fan again, the neck fans can't beat the convenience here! The fan is also silent, sometimes I forget it's on when I take my head off because you can't hear it at all.
Vision is excellent, also about average for most well-made suits; I have a decent FOV and can actually see most things about 180 degrees in front of me, but I'm always moving which helps. And like most suiters, I have a bit of a nose blind spot right in the middle, which is about the size of a person unfortunately, and I have to look down to see steps–all of this is normal from my suiting experience and can be corrected with learned movements. Sometimes her hair falls a little into her eyes, but that's expected and not an impairment. I get a little bit of vision out of her mouth too, which is great. Of course, cannot see anything at all behind me, and it's hard to hear in suit, which is expected.
There is also a custom branded tag sewn into the neck, not only is it stylish and adds a ton of polish, but because it's a loop I'm able to clip my tracker tag in perfectly 🙂
She is perfect honestly. Very symmetrical, but not mechanically so. She still looks like a human-made piece of art, which I love. Markings are accurate to the reference, and I was consulted multiple times about size, placement, and shape on all of them. Her headbase was cast from their standard dragon base, and then custom sculpted further to best reflect the personality in my concept art and the character.
The shaving is very smooth and there is a gentle transition from the short fur to the longer fur on the cheeks. The shaving also looks great on her ears, which were meant to have longer fur at the tips. All of the horns/spikes are crisp and stuffed perfectly so they don't sag or lose their shape/flop around, and they look more like 'bone' than fabric. Everything is so precise, you can even see the color of her inner nostrils, which was a detail I didn't know would be achieved and I'm so glad it was!
Material is a combination of fur, minky, and a few other materials in the eyes and mouth. I wanted a specific fur for her main pink, and they were happy to accommodate, and it looks fantastic. They sourced and color matched the rest with pinpoint accuracy, I never once had to worry about the colors. Her inner mouth is accurate to the colors on the ref which is awesome (they usually just do a solid black interior mouth) and they did a custom lip made of cord around the outer edge to add some polish back in. I love how it looks and it really defines her smile. Her inner ears are custom dyed minky, her eyes are custom fit 3D printed bases with hand-painted mesh. Her tongue is attached and is forked just like the ref!
Her hair is built into a custom patterned headpiece that slips over her horns and attaches/detaches with button snaps for easy cleaning, styling, or even making additional hair colors/styles in the future. The wig used was a white Arda wig, which was then custom dyed to match the reference sheet. Her hair is the only thing that doesn't match the ref exactly– the colors are slightly different and the style is different, but a lot of this is attributed to it being a fursuit and not an RGB lit drawing on a screen. Originally, I was expecting more volume and longer hair, but realistically I like it how it is now because it's very easy to manage and doesn't tangle as much as longer/more hair would. The colors don't bother me at all actually, but I note it because they are slightly different from the ref and more true blue than cerulean (keep in mind, we're limited to what exists on the market in terms of dyes, materials, etc). For what it is, I'm totally satisfied and I think it came out incredible, I specifically sought Tiny Wyvern for Roxy's cosplay experience and she absolutely delivered here. I did not want a fursuit with "hair" being a puff of sewn fur or chunks of fur pieces, I wanted true actual hair that didn't look out of place, and I think it totally comes through. She even made Nova's gravity-defying bangs, which was not expected but super appreciated, adds a lot of character to her silhouette! The back of the wig has additional wefts sewn in which add a ton of dimension and color as well, and the attachment method is EXTREMELY secure.
A note, with any wig, restyling will be needed in the future, and I was aware of this when purchasing as a cosplayer myself, so having the detachable wig feature was absolutely a win for me and I love how it came out.
Her expression is so cute. I love how she looks from all angles, and her little teeth are sooo cute. Her ears also are posable, so I can bend them down or to the sides slightly if I want to achieve a different look. As-is though, I love the curve they have to them. Her eyelids are velcro attached and VERY secure once on, they give her a great sassy expression when on that doesn't feel too forced like it does on some suits. I love how bright her 3D eyes are, the size is perfect so they don't come across too dark in photos and they still have a great following effect.
Everything perfectly matches the concept art.
The fit is perfect– built off of my DTD which helps, but they also included gussets in the proper areas and I'm able to have a full range of motion and even lift my arms fully above my head. Putting it on is a little challenging alone, but can be done with a little practice! The zipper follows her markings making the suit appear seamless. Despite being digi, she's very easy to walk in.
The bodysuit is not lined, which is standard for most suits. ALL seams are serged and incredibly durable. I can tumble around and do crazy stuff without fear it'll come apart. As noted before, after my first con with her, I noticed a small hole at the base of her tail, which could have been caused by someone stepping on it, but it also looked like the serger went off course a little here, making it weaker. The hole was super tiny and was not crucial to fix– that is to say, I probably could have missed it and been fine for a whole convention and not lost my tail 🙂 The seams surrounding it were secure. This has been the only error found on the bodysuit.
Not crucial to wear, but there was a custom branded pull chain on the zipper, which unfortunately broke the first time I put her on. While adorable and polished, probably was not strong enough to be used as a pull chain! The zipper is unaffected and can be pulled up easily without it.
The digi padding is a wide pillow that wraps around your booty and covers your thighs/knees. It's pretty hard to get in, and the zipper location makes it difficult to adjust once up on your body. I find that it fills out my digi legs pretty well, but I feel like there's some stuffing that should be around the back of my booty, since my butt looks flat/a little loose when I walk, and the padding slides down after walking a while. The legs from the front maintain shape but I wish there was a better way to keep the padding stable in the back, and also to make sure the padding goes in consistently each time and fills out all the shapes it needs to.
Cleaning is easy. The tail is attached, and has a zipper base on the inside of the suit so that you can unstuff it as needed for cleaning (the padding also has this feature). I personally just throw it in the machine with the stuffing and all, but the option to remove is there for easier packing or cleaning! There are custom branded tags on the neckline of the suit that detail washing instructions– cold tap water in the machine, air dry only. She washes easily as 1 load of laundry, and then i let her hang on a wetsuit dryer (only blows room temp air) and brush her out when she's about 80% dry. Easy! No construction marks from the main body suit have bled onto the outside.
For her wings, they detach from a small inner backpack that you wear under the suit. I clean those with a little green machine, since they have an interior armature. They hardly get dirty though. The small inner backpack I have been little greening too, but I may try washing it in a pillowcase on gentle– it has metal parts so I don't want it to rust/damage my machine, but the neoprene parts that touch your back soak up a LOT of sweat, so I feel a deeper clean is needed. Instructions for the backpack were not provided, but I also haven't reached out and asked yet so that's on me!
Airflow is average for a digi fullsuit, and the padding being made of neoprene helps keep everything cool!
Bodysuit is very symmetrical. All markings are accurate to the reference and everything looks great– the style in which she was drawn was beautifully adapted to real life! Her tail was my biggest concern, and I think it came out great and very dragon-y without looking like a Dutchie tail.
Shaving is very even on the tummy. After seeing it sewn, I wish her chest fluff made more of a "V" shape on her chest instead of going straight across, but I'm happy with it the way it is!
The material is as expected, the furs feel high quality, and it is easily brushed.
Colors and materials are perfect, everything was chosen with a lot of care! The padding creates an incredibly smooth shape and looks fantastic once worn correctly!
Hands are maybe my least favorite. They still look great and cohesive, but they've been a little hard to wear. The wrist is not quite wide enough so they stop short on my arm and cannot be pulled all the way down, meaning I have to scrunch them up to get my palm in the right place. The hands are unlined, and the fingers have removable padding which gives them a great shape, but the overall paw feels a bit big compared to my hand (I did provide a hand tracing), so in combination with the small wrist and the big hand, I find them flopping off pretty easily and needing to be constantly adjusted, and the padding moves around sometimes and makes it harder to keep on my fingers securely.
I did have some holes appear in the hands over the course of FWA 2025, but Flint fixed them up for me on-site! This was likely due to them being the first item made and serged, so they were still working out the kinks of their new machine. I did not have any holes reappear since.
Despite the above, they look great with the suit and you can't tell anything about the fit issues. The issues are also minimal, and do not really impact my experience fursuiting or make anything significantly more difficult.
Tiny Wyvern did a great job following my ref and noticing my heart-shaped pawpads 🙂 it was a feature I really appreciated!
The shaving around the edges of the fingers is a little noticeable on the seams, and of all places on the suit I think that is where the seams are most notable. Again, not the end of the world as they overall look GREAT, just something to note. They are very symmetrical and match! They also included L and R tags in the wrist for easy distinction 🙂
When I originally reached out, I had wanted some 'slim' paws similar to Roxy's older suit, Keona, and while I am satisfied with the shape and how they ended up looking, I wouldn't say they are slim, they're more standard-sized paws.
I received two tails, one is attached to the bodysuit permanently and is a floor dragger, the other is a slightly shorter partialling tail that just sweeps the floor.
The floor dragger is perfect. Knowing the risks of having a floor dragger, this is SO much easier to manage than expected. I did request a wrist loop of some kind in my initial communication that did not make it to the final, but I did not mention this to Tiny Wyvern upon receipt. I usually just have a friend or my spouse carry my tail in especially dirty areas or escalators, since it's very difficult for me to reach around and pick it up in suit.
Generally, the tail does not pick up as much dirt as I thought even when suiting outdoors, and is very durable and easy to wash.
As mentioned, there was a small hole in the base of the attached tail after FWA, but it was small and easily fixable.
Partial tail is very easy to wear and walk with, and has a zipper for removing the stuffing and washing! Includes two belt loops as well.
They also created a custom clear tail cover for me! It fits great on the partial tail and uses the spikes to hold it on, but does not fit as well on the fullsuit tail, which is what I was primarily going to use it for. I did mention this to Tiny Wyvern upon receipt; given the nature of it it's hard to get a universal tail cover, but it still was functional for a little while. I tried pinning it to my fullsuit (on its own, it did not stay on securely) but the pins did not hold, so I will be experimenting with this further to make sure it stays attached! Overall though, it covers a large part of the minky I wanted protected and works for what I wanted it for, I just need to find a way to better attach it.
The floor dragger is PERFECT. 10/10 my favorite part of my suit aside from my head 🙂
My partial tail is cute, but I'm not super pleased with how it looks near my butt, it doesn't really 'curve' into a realistic looking tail, and this could be because it has a straight-across zipper instead of a circular base. Instead, it kind of forms a 'shelf' and just juts out behind me and drops down. I think this style is better suited for their otter tails, but perhaps not for a dragon tail? It's still cute, and it looked great in the WIP photos so I didn't mention anything to Tiny Wyvern , but when I tried it on myself I had a hard time styling my outfit with it. It's still very fun to wear and if you have a tshirt or something to cover that connection point, it looks better! I still really like it and will use it all the time! The motion it has when partialling is sooo cute and fun.
Both tails are very symmetrical and follow the ref perfectly, even on the shorter tail!
I did have issues with construction mark bleed on the partial tail, looked like some kind of marker bled through onto the white spikes. I was able to get most of it with Folex.
I actually received two pairs of feet– when I reached out, I had wanted indoor feet and a pair of sandals, but they ended up making me two sets (indoor and outdoor)!
Both are incredibly comfortable. They are built on crocs, and have a solid base (it looks like a rubber mat of some kind but it's MUCH more solid than typical EVA foam, I've worn the outdoor feet on all kinds of terrain and there is NO damage or puncture marks or anything of the sort! The crocs are removable and make traveling easy, the toes and ankle are made of foam and I'm able to vacuum seal them down flat to travel and they pop back up pretty quick!
Both sets of feet are lined with neoprene, and also zipper attach to the body suit. I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS FEATURE. Makes walking incredibly easy, you dont risk losing a foot, and makes the visual appearance of the legs seamless and beautiful. The feet create a GREAT animal shape and it looks fantastic.
The indoor feet are gorgeous as well– the feature stuffed pawpads and the same features as the outdoor ones. Both sets include L and R tags. Each set has a unique pair of crocs purchased to match my fursona 🙂 They are easy to clean with a little green machine and folex!
Like any foot, the claws get dirty easily, but they're easy to clean, and the solid base does not flex with use and stays very flat, which means walking is more accurate and less of the foot gets dirty.
Feet are SOLID and beautiful. Similar to the hands, I had asked for 'slim' feet, and while they're not exactly slim, I actually ended up preferring this look to them, and it worked out because they match the hands a little better.
The shapes are GORGEOUS, some of the best feet I've ever seen and worn.
Small nitpick, but the claws on the feet are not all at the same height. You can't really tell unless you're looking for it, but it was something I noticed in photos.
The indoor feet are beautiful and soooo cute. They also feature the heart shaped paw pads from the ref.
Both sets look incredible once zippered on!
WINGS:
As mentioned, the suit has detachable wings that attach via a small backpack inside the bodysuit made of stuffed neoprene, 3D printed slots, and metal bars/screws. Functionally it works very well and also makes the wings look seamless and hold their upright shape! Not very cute to partial with, so I've just been omitting them when I partial. Otherwise they're very secure! The wings also have a posable armature inside, if you wanted to bend them for photos. The wings themselves are very pretty, the way the feathers are sewn makes them wrinkle a little, but other than that they're sooooo cute and people love getting whapped by them hahaha.
WIG:
As mentioned in the head section, my head has a custom wig that was dyed. The piece it sits on is a 'cap' that slips over the horns and attaches with two metal snaps directly to the head– it's incredibly secure! This also allows me to switch out her hair in the future if I wanted to have her 'cosplay' or change styles! Visually looks AMAZING. Have to be careful when putting her on to not mess up the hair, but otherwise no issues.
HEAD FAN:
The fan built into the muzzle is soooo game changer. The wiring is through the back of the head and it detaches with velcro. It makes suiting for long periods incredible, and I won't ever get another fursuit without one!
