The original post for Numazu was on Twitter and was a simple application process, as it was part of there adoptable range of fursuits where the deign was created by them and they were looking for applicants to buy the suit. After I was accepted I was asked for some customer details and payment methods and instructions from there. The DTD information was all available on there website so there was no issues with that and we proceeded from that point
The communication was very good, I was informed of the process the whole way from when they needed payments to when the DTD was due and progress updates throughout. Communication started through Email and I was also added to the Telegram chat later on. I also had access to view the Trello board that was updated as progress was made so I had easy contact access. Feathers was very polite and welcoming and I felt comfy contacting them if I needed to.
The project completion time was on point, I was never left in the dark about how long it would take, Progress time I was also receiving WIP photos throughout.
I am extremely pleased with the results from the fursuit, Numazu as a completed suit feels amazing to wear and allows a whole new world of expression I never thought possible. Are Kemono suits hard to wear, yes but if your looking for a style that makes you feel like you've come out of an anime then that is the trade off. Kemonokapi made a highly detailed suit with so many markings while keeping it simplistic with a white design, I have now had Numazu for over 3 years entering the 4th and outside of wear and tear from my own use there has not been any damage that has come about from suit quality the suit looks amazing, feels amazing and is high quality all the way round.
The fursuit head is comfortable to wear with two fans that can be powered by a usb battery pack, in addition to two ventilation spots that are hidden from view, it is not heavy and visibility is great, although due to the nature of dome eyes fogging can occur.
The outside view of the fursuit head is adorable, with lovely details in expression and the hair is attached well as mentioned before there is ventilation in the head but this is not visible on the outside keeping suit emersion while wearing. As for matching concept design yes it does with marking, hair positions and colourations all matching the original art (if not improved by it turning into a fursuit). The fur is soft the hair is easy to brush out, the nose is delicate and there is a detachable tongue for cleaning purposes
The bodysuit for Numazu is bulky with a separate padding piece for the legs however that has not really caused any issues while being worn, it has taken some practice to get used to the extra weight of a full body suit but that's a marker on experience as this is my first full body suit. The body is easy to put on and can be done without aid the zip is easy to manage and is on the front but is hidden externally and there i don't have difficulties with movement around the arms or legs as the suit is fitted for my size and height.
The Fullsuit from the outside is beautiful with lovely toned markings on the back, the legs and Tail along with arm fins along with great body proportions the leg thickness caused by the leg padding do a great job of filling out the visual look of the digitigrade and giving that classic kemono suit look. The tail is also attached to the body suit rather than being a removable piece and is floor dragging length (and is stuffing filled removable from the inside for cleaning needs). The suit again meets the original concept design with all of the markings being exact to the concept art I was provided the fur is soft and the markings are each sown on separately.
The hand paws are a four fingered design that have good spacing for my hand to fit into, yes only having 4 slots for my hand to go can be awkward for finger placement however I would not call it uncomfortable and the range of movement I can do is reasonable for the size of each paw pad and I don't feel like movement will damage the them while in use.
The hand paws from an external view are a mochi paw design with four mochi pads on each finger and one large pad on the palm, each of these are soft to the touch and match the colour from the rest of the suit
The feet are both lined on the inside and are designed as indoor feetpaws, each has proper markings of left and right on the tags and match my feet size with enough space to be comfy but not have slide room. Admittedly this is one of the few pieces of the suit I have damaged due to user incomitance and have had to repair but I admit this was my fault being to rough with putting on the suit damaging the lining material aside from my own fault however they are very comfy to wear and with the fullsuit on can be covered for maximum immersion, however I do need some assistance getting it to be covered correctly due to the fact I can't reach due to the hip padding. The only issue with the feet paws is that they can be hard to clean, this is purely due to the amount of ground contact they have compared to any other part of the suit and the fact that the feet are one solid piece.
The exterior of the feet paws is a four toed design with Mochi padding on the base of the foot and base of each toe with the design being more of a boot than a flat shoe so the length of the feet go up just above the ankle. The feet are soft to the touch on the mochi material along with soft fur and well placed markings where each toe is however as I mentioned before the suit is heavier due to padding so showing off the mochi material can be difficult while unless doing certain poses but this doesn't detract from the look.
