I can see so well, that I didn’t need my friends help much at all. Vision is stereoscopic in places and took little getting used to, and this is my first suit.
Head goes on perfectly as if I had her custom fit it to me. I was worried that I was going to have issues since I often have to wear a large hat.
I can hear well, and the muzzle fan is quiet and powerful enough to keep me from sweating too bad.
The head does not touch me on my face, and this makes it very comfortable to wear, just like a hat.
Magnet closure on back of head is flawless and is easy for me to do, single handed.
LED eyes are nice too! very detailed and orange color is what I wanted. Simple and easy to turn on and off.
Moving jaw is good, I adjusted pad for my chin.
Head is very light weight.
Color of furs and length of pile is perfect.
Air brushing is seamless and really adds to the realistic effect I wanted. It blends well with the toony aspects. This is what I wanted. Semi-toony / Semi-real.
The transition from long fur to short has a nice look for me, and was suggested by my maker. I am glad she recommended it.
The symmetry is spot on, and nothing is out of place.
The fur markings and colors match the reference art well, and I wanted Beastcub’s artistic input in places, so overall I am very happy with the appearance of the suit.
The airbrushing has not faded, nor bled or come off. She used very good materials as far as I can tell, and it looks perfect still.
The facial expression of my character is very interesting, in that he can change mood just based on angle. From moody, to angry, to happy, and silly, just with the proper angle and jaw movement. This was something I didn’t expect, and was glad to see it work out.
My ears are fabulous, and many people online love them. They are VERY detailed. I am pleased.
Fur is soft and silky and has good “depth” to it. If you dig into it, it has a base color just like a real animal, just like I wanted for a GSD.
Porcupine whiskers are totally amazing and are a cherished part of my mask.
LED eyes are nice and creepy when I want them to be, and nice and happy when I want them to be. Works well, no issues.
Moving jaw is smooth acting and lightweight
Custom nose is very detailed and lifelike
Digi-padding does restrict movement a little, but will safely yeild when needed like for crouching jumping, bending.
Very strong stitching on body. This is NOT going to pop. All stitching is top notch and nothing was missed. I know, I inspected it all.
seams are in all the right places, no rubbing, no odd issues with bagging or bulging.
It is comfortable to wear, a little hot compared to other suits, so a friend says..
Interior is not lined where there is fur, and doesn’t need it. Backing is smooth enough there.
Interior IS lined where digi-padding is placed. This is for the pockets that hold the foam inserts. Very smooth lycra like material there.
Zipper in front, and short zipper in back. easy to put on and take off. No rubbing from zipper
My suit does absorb sweat and move it to the outside. Especially the black fur for some reason.. this is ideal…it doesn’t show. I do not know if that was planned or what, but is a nice thing to have.
i love my suit from all angles.
I do wish the front zipper line could be more easily brushed out. This is common to many suits from what I have seen.
The design matches my reference art,m which is hard to do since this character is a mixture of 2 different dog styles.
Padding is what I requested from her previous work of “Zoey” the blue heeler dog.
Colors are very close match. Maker worked with me well on that aspect. Colors change with lighting which I understand happens.
Body suit brushes out easy.
Hands are good. A little loose. Paw pads are realistic rubber and lend well to the effect. I was a little surprised about how hard it is to use the paws, but this is my first suit. Paws could use elastic band in wrist edge to help keep them snug on me.
Feet are great! light weight, sturdy, breathe easy. Built on an Adidas wrestling shoe. Tie up with shoestring, and close with Velcro. This was my shoe choice based upon other suits made. Claws are solid resin and color is solid throughout which means as they wear they remain the black color I wanted.
Shoes have been in snow many times, a little mud (so sorry!) and a lot of carpet, and some concrete. Overall, the rubber paw pads hold up well. I will wear sandals if I am walking on asphalt or concrete again to not abrade the pads anymore. Foot paws cleaned up well, mud came out. Feet are comfortable and I can feel just enough in them to remain agile. I did cause one small paw pad to partly de-glue (33% off) and I immediately glued it on with E6000. This is the ONLY issue I have had so far with any part of my complete suit.
Feet and hands are color matched well to body. I like how they look. claws are in the correct placement.
My tail is semi-permanently attached to the body, which makes it sturdy and not be too bouncy when walking , which I am grateful for.
Tail is slightly curved up, like a husky tail but more GSD than husky. Shape is what I agreed to , and colors match body since they were created at same time.
Tail is padded well, and stands up to some abuse.
Tail is placed where I wanted it, perhaps a little too low, but very very close to where I wanted it.
Symetric tail, no seam visible.
moves well with me.
very durable attachment to body and built-in belt.
I wanted semi-toony version of doggos, and that is what I got!
Some marking were modified, but this was part of the semi-toony look / art style, and this was discussed with me.
I would say that my concept art was realized fully! Plus some!
No gaps,. strong stitching, nothing loose or missing.
No rubbing and close fit.
Padding is great
She never changed prices on me, nor rambled on. She was a pleasure to work with. In the end, we were discussing like friends, yet remained professional.
I was never in the dark regarding my suit construction
Suit arrived fast to where I needed it to be (FedEx drop ship / pickup location for privacy and security) and was insured and in good condition.

This means the reviewer would recommend Beastcub Creations.
Beastcub warned me that full suits had incurred a price jump, and I understood this and agreed to it.
I paid the extra for what I wanted. I love what I have and am very grateful to have received a commission slot and been chosen.
Beastcub was good to work with and communicated well.
I recommend her to others.
