It was very easy; a friend in a groupchat was a prior commissioner and referred me to her. I contacted her through QQ since I speak Chinese, though she does have Twitter/Instagram/Telegram/Discord if need be. It was easy to understand most communications.
The maker never took more than a day to respond to questions during the process of making. We used QQ throughout. I was treated very well, and the maker made sure that my preferences were a priority, and I was very much treated like a friend!
The maker also gave proper timelines on what to expect at what time, how much to pay and where to send it to, etc, and it was all very professional
I am very satisfied with how fast it was–half a year from ordering to completing is genuinely so fast that I doubt most other makers (of her quality) can achieve.
Time expectations were exceeded, actually, considering that the completion and work times were ahead of schedule when I paid the down payment.
The delivery was super fast–I think 4 days for international shipping from Asia to North America. Tracking was very easy, they used Fedex
I am very happy with the item I received. The build quality is honestly very high, and the fur in particular that was used is durable yet super soft. No seams have popped at all, and no issues with any glue or anything otherwise.
The entire project made me so happy, as I had never considered that my character could be properly translated to real life–but BoBo did manage to do it, and I am forever grateful. The price was also amazing (though she has since raised prices), and the quality absolutely is absolutely worth way more than the price!
The arms and paws have been very durable, too, as I've hand-washed them in cold water and there has been no visible decay in appearances either. I was quite hesitant to consider a fursuit in the first place, but the process of getting to work with BoBo had basically eliminated all reservations I had towards being a real life dog I have ever had. đ
It is comfy to wear, and despite the sheer size of the head (it is very very very large), it still fits properly and snugly on my head with the maker's foam-block technique
The ventilation is pretty nice considering it is a kemono suit with a pretty small mouth; a fan will definitely help but it's par for the course in terms of ventilation!
The vision is pretty good, though because my head is abnormally large, the distance between eyes is also very big and thus blind spot big; this is my own fault though for asking for a big head. The mesh to see through is very visible and I have no problems seeing through the eyes themselves.
How is the symmetry?
It is perfectly symmetrical; it matches my character design perfectly and I cannot stress how happy I am with how well recreated it is. I was very hesitant towards getting a suit in the first place, but how this came out was so good and matching what I had in mind for my character that I am more than content.
Is the shaving even?
It is very even. I cannot see nor discern any issues with make quality. There were basically no visible borders between fur type / length.
How does the material (e.g. fur) feel and look?
The fur quality is so high–it's extremely soft, fluffy, and comfy to feel. It does not rub off any colour at all with 70% alcohol spray (IPA), and it can be easily brushed to be smooth; the maker also has tutorials on how to restore curled fur.
How satisfied are you with the expression and overall appearance of the head?
The expression is perfect, and with a posable tongue it makes it possible to have different expressions if needed. Different expressions are absolutely possible with different angles and poses. The eyes are static, though follow-me eyes were an option.
Does it match the concept art?
YES. They even went out of their way to design glasses and did special modifications so the glasses wouldn't have legs (via magnets) to even more match my character design. All markings were properly translated to fur.
Are you satisfied with how the hands fit you?
Yes! The measurements required made for a good fit; the sleeves I got were very very long (up over elbow) and so it made for good levels of immersion. They are snug enough that they will not slide off if you don't want them to, and some sweat-wicking sleeves make them be able to be put on pretty easily
Quality and durability are both top-notch; full range of movement is possible without any seams feeling stressed, and the fur colour and paw pad colour are same as new
The insides have fabric lining that's almost silky, so it's very sweat-absorbant, but some sweat wicking sleeves still definitely help. Cleaning is easy with just some spraying of alcohol, though cold-water cleaning is also possible
Pretty much same as the head! High quality fur, very soft, very comfy, feels cuddly!
Comfy! Very well-designed so it rarely drags on ground.
Suuper super pretty, same fur quality as arms and legs
Long paw-legs that go from feet to knee; might need a harness (which the maker provides) to clip it on and prevent it from sliding down, but otherwise very very good and comfy and good-looking!
Full range of movement, sweat is not too much an issue, big and thick inside makes spraying very easy
Very pretty, same as arms
I have glasses made on the suit, so the maker made special 3D printed ones that fit my character design; the glasses do not have legs, so magnets were installed inside head and in glasses to make them stick-on!
Would you recommend this maker?
