Initially I couldn't figure out how that padding was arranged and she sent a tutorial video which was very helpful. A whisker fell out and she gave me a link to where it was purchased from. I needed to restuff the tail and she told me how I could do it. The hand paws and feet have worn down and the maker let me commission another pair from her 🙂 All very helpful and with great communication! Features: None Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactI saw the suit for sale on Dealers Den and immediately fell in love with the look of it. I contacted the maker about the suit but there was one person that was also interested. When that first person didn't work out, the maker contacted me and we got started with the inquiry. Maker CommunicationCommunication with the maker was great. She was quick to respond and gave me regular updates. The suit was premade so there wasn't much talking about design or size. She did extend the arms and legs to fit my taller height. We signed the contract and payments were made relatively quickly and the suit was shipped shortly after. After I received the suit, she gladly answered any questions I had about how to wear it and take care of it. The suit was also sent with a little care guide that helped. Even to this day we communicate, I had asked about commissioning another set of hand and feet paws and she gladly agreed. Great experience! Project Completion TimeSince the suit was premade I didn't really have to wait on it being completed. Extensions to the arms and legs were made which was pretty quick and the whole contract signing, payment, and shipping all happened within a month. Not long at all 🙂 Overall Project QualityOverall, I am very satisfied with Rio the fullsuit. For being a second-hand suit, it fits great. It's comfortable to wear and have fun in. The quality of the whole suit is amazing. The head and body suit have held up very well since I've had it. The hand paws and feet paws have shown some wear and tear but that makes sense for those heavily used parts of the suit. My only quarrel is with the suit padding, it's kind of difficult to maneuver to get it perfectly into place. There's not much indicator of where it all goes, it's a lot of trial and error. The fur feels high quality with three distinct furs, short and course dark brown fur, short and soft black fur and long and fluffy orange fur. All work perfectly together to get that marten look. I absolutely LOVE how she looks. I saw the suit on Dealers Den and fell in love. Its got the most perfect pine marten shape and I couldn't have asked for anything better. The character the suit is made from wasn't originally mine but I liked the design so much, I adopted the whole character. I've worn this suit to multiple conventions now and its been an absolute blast. I can wear it for hours while running around, climbing stuff, and playing with other suiters. I do really love this suit 🙂 Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe fursuit head is a snug fit, a bit tight when slipping it on but fits perfectly on my head. Doesn't bounce around and stays in place. The vision is great! I can see well in my peripherals and there isn't much of a blind spot caused by the snout. Being a foam head, it is quite light and durable. It is very breathable and doesn't get overly hot. There are openings in the ears and mouth that create good airflow. It is lined on the inside so there is not scratchy fur Visual SatisfactionVery satisfied. She's very cute and the maker did a great job capturing the marten head shape. Great size for the body, not too big or too small. The short fur is course and the long fur is fluffy, perfect for a pine marten. The head and marking are very symmetrical and the maker did a good shave job with no areas that were cut too short. Great quality head in my opinion One-Piece Body Wear SatisfactionThis was a suit that originally belonged to the maker to it doesn't fit perfect on me. The maker was able to extend the arms and legs to make the length fit me better. The body a little baggy on me but it's nothing noticeable. The padding needs quite a bit of adjustment to get in the ideal shape. . The zipper is in the back which makes putting it on a bit of a struggle but I've gotten used to it. The tail is attached to the body so there's not struggle getting a belt loop on. It's very fun to wear and run around in which I do a lot. Even with the drop crotch, it's easy to move around in. It's also very comfortable to just chill in. Overall pretty satisfied. Visual SatisfactionLove the shape of it. All the padding gives it the perfect marten shape with the round thighs and drop crotch. The short fur is course and the long fur is fluffy, perfect for a pine marten. Everything is neatly sewn with no visual flaws anywhere. Sometimes the padding needs to be restuffed to give it a nice plump shape. My only critique is the space between the thigh padding and foot paw is a bit long for a marten but I think that was due to the suit needing to be extended for my height. Overall love the body suit, the style of it is what made me fall in love with the suit. Hands Wear SatisfactionVery comfortable to wear and with great dexterity with use of all five of my fingers! Inside is lined so it's not scratchy at all. It does absorb a good amount of sweat which makes it hard to dry them off later. When I received the hand paws they were in great condition but after all the use and abuse I've put into them, some seams have popped open around the paws pads and a claw is partially falling out. This is the only part of the suit where the seams ripped. Visual SatisfactionThe hand paws are one of my favorite features of the suit. The shape of them is perfect and they're shaved perfectly. They're five fingered and doesn't look cluttered or awkward at all. The claws are plastic and the paw pads are vinyl which I think works very well for marten paws. The paws also blend into the arm sleeves seamlessly, no awkward fur bunching. I have no issues with the look of the hand paws, I love them. Feet Wear SatisfactionThe feet paws are alright to wear. There isn't much to them for comfort, it's just a mat of EVA foam. The EVA foam has started to wear down from use so the center of the foam is thinner and doesn't provide much padding between my foot and the ground. With not much else going on in there, my foot does move around inside a lot and has fallen off before. However they are durable, the fur and the claws are still very much intact and still looks good. Visual SatisfactionThe feet paws look great. They have that perfect marten shape to the. I love that they have five toes. The blend in very nicely with the legs.
