Overall

Initial ContactIt was super easy to contact Cass! My very first contact with them was actually for another suit, one that I actually commissioned, and then I found Saturn on their shop and snatched them up before anyone else could


Maker CommunicationIt didn't take long for Cass to get back with me at all. Initially I spoke with them through email for my other suit, but for Saturn I spoke with them on Twitter. Cass is an absolute delight to talk with and they communicate things in a clear and easy to understand way, and they are very nice and chill to talk with.

Project Completion TimeConsidering how I bought Saturn while they were nearly done, it didn't take long at all for them to finish work on Saturn after I bought them. Generally speaking however, they do have a fursuit queue as well as having an estimated time that the suits will get done and that can fluctuate a bit depending on the suits they're currently working on. I am well aware of all of that and check up on it on occasion for my other suit. Everything was shipped and delivered in a timely manner and the box even came with extra little goodies from their shop!


Overall Project QualityFor the overall project quality, I'd definitely give it 5 stars! The quality of the suit is absolutely wonderful and can definitely withstand a lot more use for in the future! When I initially saw the design for Saturn, I fell in love at the concept of a space bunny and anxiously waited for the chance to be able to snatch them up. The suit definitely met and exceeded my expectations, though having never had a suit before I wasn't sure what to expect going into it, but I was definitely not disappointed in the slightest. I feel like I got my money's worth with the quality of the partial and given the opportunity in the future I would love to also get a body suit and feetpaws for this lovely lil rabbit!

Head

Wear SatisfactionThe head fits pretty well! It has pretty good ventilation and I didn't keel over when I wore it to a Ren faire! I'm not able to wear my glasses while I wear it, but that's really not an issue at all. It fits pretty comfortably and as for sight I do need to look around a fair bit to be able to see well enough around me, but some of that is due to the lack of glasses. It seemed to absorb sweat pretty well as well!


Visual SatisfactionOh I absolutely adore how it turned out! The fur is shaven evenly and the markings look absolutely splendid, and the fur types chosen are very soft and pleasing to touch, as well as it is easy to brush and smooth out. There is the slightest difference between the head and the concept art and that's just the coloration of the nose (which I had no issue at all with).
I am extremely satisfied with the expression on the head and the follow me eyes, the eyes even have little planet Saturn's painted in them! It's very cute


Hands

Wear SatisfactionThe handpaws fit very well and with no issue. They're pretty warm, but they don't have any issue staying on my hands and I have no issues getting them on or off. The seams seem very durable, I'm able to move around without any issue.


Visual SatisfactionThe paws are very cute and soft, I love sitting and touching the fur. The shaving is even and it's all super easy to brush out when needed, and I love the colors of fur that was chosen. There are no paw pads as rabbits don't actually have paw pads and I appreciate that attention to detail towards making it accurate to the species. They also do match the concept art.


Tail

Wear SatisfactionThe tail fits wonderfully and is really comfortable to wear. It's a nub tail so it does absolutely nothing to restrict my movement and it's super easy to take on and off. The tail itself is durable and the seams on the fur and for the straps have had no issue with popping. I can pull on the tail and the straps without anything breaking, it is well crafted.


Visual SatisfactionThe tail is as it should be, the fur quality the same as the head and hand paws: soft and easy to brush. The tail looks as it should according to concept art and is symmetrical, and I think it's very cute that the tail bounces when I walk.

Final CommentsI would definitely recommend TOP Dog Studios! If you're looking for a great quality fursuit, this would be where I'd go, and I would definitely commission them again in the future if I was looking to have another suit made 🙂
