Features: Hair / Wig Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial ContactIt was easy for me personally to learn about this premade since I am a friend of the maker, but the maker posts fursuit slot openings on Twitter and premades for preclaim onto Twitter frequently as well. Maker CommunicationCommunication was clear and consistent. The maker was professional even considering our history as friends when contacting me about the suit. Project Completion TimeProject was bought as a preclaimed premade. Suit was finished in a timely manner and picked up at a con. Overall Project QualityI am overall very happy and satisfied with the quality and function of Sega. Sega’s suit exceeds my expectations and I am satisfied with the final result. Components Head Wear SatisfactionThe inside of Sega’s head is a pleasure to wear! The inside stays cool and is lined with neoprene to wick any moisture. The head fits comfortably but runs a bit large but this doesn’t cause any issues with sliding or vision problems for me. The overal fit is great, roomy enough to not feel tight but not loose enough to slide around on my head. I wear glasses and Sega comfortably fits them as well. Nothing on the inside pokes my face and it’s a comfortable head to wear. Sega has a neoprene lining that wicks moisture and sweat well as well as being a material that helps keep the head cool and easier to clean. Ventilation is also wonderful in Sega, the mouth open enough to comfortably breathe in and his large eyes also provide the comfort of cool air. Vision is good as well, the eyes are large (and have a large range of vision) and the mesh on the eyes is clear of paint that would obstruct vision and easy to see through. Visual SatisfactionI am very satisfied with the visual quality of Sega, the symmetrical markings on his face are symmetrical (as they should be) and the asymmetrical ones are cleanly and crisply shaven to show the markings off. The fur is high quality and soft which shows in how the shave is very good. The markings of the face and overall suit build fit the premade concept art. The follow me eyes work incredibly well and the hand painted eyes are gorgeous. There are no airbrushed markings on Sega Hands Wear SatisfactionSega’s paws are comfortable to wear, though they are not lined on the inside. This does not hamper the wear or process of cleaning them since I don’t mind the feel of fur backing. They also fit my hands well but are a bit large in size. Easy to put on and take off. Sega’s paws are durable with the proper care. I’ve never had any trouble with the paw pads falling off and as Sega doesn’t have any claws and I’ve not had any problems with fur falling out or paw pad seams popping. Visual SatisfactionAs above, I’m very satisfied with the visual quality. Markings are symmetrical, match the concept art and I don’t see any over-shaved fur. The fur is soft and luxurious, and the small vinyl ‘screens’ on the back are adorable and don’t impede wear. There are no airbrushed markings on Sega Tail Wear SatisfactionThe tail wears comfortable against my tailbone and the fully minky tail cap (belt straps included) helps prevent the wearing out of elastic I’ve experienced in other suits. The tail is light and doesn’t impede walking, and I’ve not noticed any tearing anywhere on the suit as well. Visual SatisfactionThe tail is ADORABLE! I’m very happy and satisfied with it. There’s been light shaving to show off the stripes on the tail and those are symmetrical. (All matching the premade concept art.) As I have noted before the tail is soft and pleasant to touch. It is easily cared for with brushing and washing as well. There are no airbrushed markings on Sega. Special FeaturesThere are small vinyl ‘screens’ on the fursuit paws, they are not actually screens but a homage to a part of the Sega Dreamcast which the partial was based off of. They have no real functional use. They are high quality and have not impeded wearing, cleaning or enjoying Sega.
