Wear Satisfaction

Head felt a little tight to get inside as no head measurements were taken, once inside it feels comfy and breathability is very good, vision is pretty good too, originally had a fan installed in the head but it failed a day after purchase, asked seller if it were possible to fix but unfortunately not as it would require the whole head to be disassembled.

Visual Satisfaction

I’m very satisfied with the overall look of the head, it’s supposed to look like an 80s metal rockstar type of fursona, Sanctuary did an excellent job with the hair, exactly the way I wanted it, messy and long, the blue tips on the end of the hair came out really good too.

The only thing I don’t like about the appearance is when the mouth is closed it looks kinda funny.

Special Attachments and Features

Other features are the fins at the back of the head and the eyepatch, both I’m fully satisfied with, originally the fins were too small but the maker fixed these and the ears for free after a few months waiting time.

Hands and Feet

Wear Satisfaction

Hands and feetpaws both feel very comfortable to wear, some of the fur on the hand paws seems to be messier now than when I first received them.

Visual Satisfaction

The hands and feetpaws are my least favourite part of the partial, mainly because the hands design on the top seems to be coming apart a little and the feetpaws design aren’t really to my liking, they’re in no way bad in terms of design and build quality, just not really what I’m looking for in terms of feetpaws.

Wear Satisfaction

Tail is very sturdy when attached to belt, swinging it around doesn’t break the hooks, it’s very strong!

Visual Satisfaction

Tail is one of the best parts of the suit for sure, the build quality and overall design is excellent, would definitely buy a tail from this maker again if needed.

Product Satisfaction

How was your concept art realized?
Originally asked for the eyes to be more diamond shaped as Sheltie is supposed to be part shark, Sanctuary told me Id have less visibility if I wanted that so I decided to go with more visibility as it was my first fursuiting experience, Sanctuary did a great job following the concept art, looks almost exactly the same!

How well does everything fit together and match up?
All the colours match and when wearing everything at once, everything looks like it goes together, no problems here.

Overall Project Quality
Overall I’m very happy with the suit I received, it was my first foray into suiting and I wanted to start off with a maker with reasonable prices incase I didn’t like suiting, Sanctuary have very good prices for their suits and I couldn’t recommend them enough for other people wanting to get their first fursuit as they have provided me with a very good experience for a first timer, the suit exceeded my expectations, definitely worth more than the price I paid, head seems like it will last a long time.

Purchase Process

Initial Contact
Found the maker through Facebook.

Maker Response Time
Response times were mixed, sometimes fast and other times very slow.

Maker Professionalism
Aside from the slow response times online, Sanctuary gives very good customer service and gave clear communication throughout the fursuit making process, they are very friendly in person.

Project Completion Time
Commissioned in June 2018 and was finished by the deadline I asked for in May 2019, no issues here at all.

It was a pleasant experience working with Sanctuary Suits during my time with them, communication could be faster at times but overall I’m happy with how the fursuit came out.
