Photos of Completed Product Head Wear Satisfaction The fit is excellent, nice and snug but not too tight, pretty much perfect. The maker builds a balaclava into the inside of the head, which is convenient. Visibility is good, or at least as good as one could expect wearing a costume head. There is a small blind spot in dead center, between the eyes, but it is not disorienting or anything. It really is only apparent at very close distances, basically arms-length. The whole inside is very soft and comfortable to wear. Prolonged wearing does get a bit warm but that comes with the territory, it’s certainly tolerable, and breathing is easy, with no circulation issues to note. Visual Satisfaction I absolutely could not be happier with how Silver looks, for me, it’s like he really came to life. The fur patterns, as well as the shaving, is all perfectly symmetrical. The ears and antlers sit symmetrically as well. The fur is very soft on every part of the head. Just about a year later the fur stays straight with very minimal brushing/care required to make him look good as new. The maker added the small patch of dark blue fur that goes from the nose to the top lip, which wasn’t in the original design. I think it looks great, and the head would have looked a little off without it now that I see it in person. Special Attachments and Features The removable neck ruff is basically like a faux fur neck pillow. It looks great, and very comfortable when wearing. Very soft to the touch yet very sturdy in the feel of its construction. As stated above, the antlers are good as well. They sit evenly and move just the right amount. They aren’t rigid/hard, but they don’t just flop all around either. Overall Product Satisfaction How well does everything fit together and match up? Everything came out exactly, or better, than I had hoped. True to the character’s design, and aesthetically excellent. One year later, its construction is holding together just as well as day 1. Overall Project Quality Yes! I’m extremely happy with how it came out. Purchase Process Initial Contact I originally DM’d the maker on Twitter, they responded promptly with a quote. From there we agreed on my payment plan, and work began shortly after I made my final payment. Maker Response Time Maker response time was excellent. There was a time zone difference (USA to Denmark), but if I sent a message during the day (for them), I had a reply within an hour at the most. Messaging switched from Twitter to Telegram at some point. I had no issues communicating with the maker on either. Maker Professionalism Maker was very professional and always treated me well. Answered all questions promptly, and whenever they needed something from me, they were pleasant and communicated very clearly. They were clear at the beginning about the process and the timeline to expect. Project Completion Time I contacted the maker in May 2019. I made my final payment in June. Work began mid or late October, and it was shipped out to me in mid November 2019. The maker was upfront about the work they had on their plate, and the order in the queue that I was in. The maker regularly posted updates about the status of their queue, and when they expected work to begin on the various items within it. When it was finished, shipping completed without issues, in a reasonable amount of time for international shipping (about 10 days).
