the head is very durable and lightweight, ventilation is great and the vision is pretty good as well. The inside isn’t lined but this makes it easier to clean, and it doesn’t get too hot as fast (there are also slits inside the head where the ears are placed, this helps with ventilation but does not show any of my head/hair on the inside of my suit head) The head isn’t too tight, a tiny bit loose but not to the point where I can turn my head all the way around. despite not being lined it is comfortable, there’s no hot glue poking me and no hard bits that I can feel. Overall I have no complaints about the head.

he came out adorable and just how I wanted him, I was pretty attentive throughout the process of furtastic making him as I wanted small specific adjustments so they made lots of changes for me and told me multiple times they wanted me to be 100% happy with my suit and were very friendly about it. his ears are bendy just how I wanted them, he is surprisingly VERY symmetrical and the fur quality is very nice and soft- especially his shorter cream-colored seal fur. very easy to brush. as far as shaving goes the spots on his face are a tad bit shorter than the cream fur, but not very noticeable and still very pretty to look at. the light brown fur on the snout is shaved pretty short but not to the point to where you can see the backing, so it’s just right. His expression is adorable, which is just what I wanted and with the added eyebrows I payed for I can give him lots of other expressions. As far as it matching the concept art goes it’s pretty damn close, aside from the snout shape as my maker made it in their style (which was completely fine and what I was expecting).

I ordered and paid extra for eyelids, and arm sleeves attached to the paws. The eyebrows are velcro and they work super well, I can position them however I want and so far i’ve had no issues whatsoever with them falling off unexpectedly. They’re simple but efficient, there are 3 velcro strips on the back of either eyebrow so I don’t think they’ll go anywhere any time soon. as for the arm sleeves attached to the paws, I can put them on and pull on them without any seams popping or the paws detaching. They fit well and I can’t say I have any complaints. I would have liked them to come a bit further up my arms but they still do the job with longer sleeved t-shirts and I didn’t send in any duct tape dummies, just measurements.

i’m happy with both my paws and my feet, they’re not lined on the inside either but the backing isn’t scratchy, its very comfortable and it’s actually very good for ventilation. I think if they did have backing on them it would get hot way too fast so I love them the way that they are. The sewing is great as said before, no popped seams at all even after wearing them for a few hours.

The only thing I think I could point out is the shaving on the toes is a little odd, the bottom half fur of the toes is slightly longer than the rest of the top of the foot. also the fur that they used for the arm sleeves (the cream seal fur) is significantly shorter than the longer shag brown fur on the forearms of the sleeves. This was something I knew about before they started making it though, and i’m still happy with how it came out as I like the transition of lengths on the arms and the seal fur is soooooo soft. Overall though I think the appearance is fine and I love the vinyl pawpads.

I LOVE THE TAIL SO. MUCH. My character has a very specific tail that’s rounded at the end, they made it perfectly just how it looks on the ref. It bounces and wags perfectly. The straps on the back of the tail are VERY DURABLE. Very well expertly sewn.
Visual Satisfaction
The markings are spot-on. The tip of the tail once again has much shorter fur than the rest of the tail, but it’s also not too noticeable and actually makes it look quite nice and round. very symmetrical, looks just how I wanted it to. Fur is very soft and high quality.

I used my friends drawn reference sheet for snappu, and then drew a head ref myself. snappu originally had stuffed paws that I paid extra for, furtastic forgot to add them but made it up by paying for the shipping instead later on (and i’m still happy with the paws now either way). They included all of his face spots and specific markings, they added his hair and his industrial (though I did have to remind them about the industrial) and a pickable nose that I asked for. Nothing about his design was altered, they made him look good and how he was supposed to look. Overall I would say the suit matches his design perfectly.
perfectly except the arm sleeves having shorter fur and looking a tad bit out of place, but I usually have that portion covered up with a shirt anyway. Style is consistent with their other suits and tbh I pride snappu in being one of the prettiest suits they’ve made, a lot of care was put into him.
yes! absolutely
Purchase Process
very easy and simple, shot them a DM over twitter and discussed my quote and other details through email. They asked for all my specific measurements (ex. side of hand from index finger to bottom of hand) and payments were made through paypal. there were 2 payments, the first one was the majority paid and the second was the rest. I found out about their business through a twitter list of fursuit makers, and I liked their prices and quality of their suits (especially how neat the sewing and gluing looked).
response time was phenomenal. Got almost immediate responses. First we talked over email, then through their personal twitter DM’s. After that I joined their telegram fursuit group, and chose to speak to them either through there or twitter.
SERVICE WAS AMAZING, I felt like I was treated very well. I was not a friend with this person when we first met and although I wouldn’t say we’re very close still I consider them a friend. They were pleasant to work with, I had a LOT of specific details I wanted to be added / changed to my suit and they had no problem with any of it. They were never rude to me once. They had very good communication and would show me any time they made a change in my favor to ask for my approval. They sent me WIPS as they made him as well.
originally I believe he was supposed to be finished by april of 2018, but it got delayed because of conventions. He was delayed twice I think before he was finished in what I think was september of 2018. my maker had to finish up a few suits for people who wanted them by convention time, and he went to a few cons as well. However I didn’t mind the wait and when the time came he made a list of what he was going to work on for every day in the last couple weeks of august. (ex. august 15th, gluing and furring, etc.)

Overall I don’t think I could be happier with my first fursuit and I don’t regret buying from furtastic in the slightest. Very well worth the money for the quality and product I was given and i’d love to work with them again if the opportunity ever arises. I highly recommend commissioning them as they have good service and a good well put-together product! if you work with this maker I recommend making a list for them to read off of for what you want, especially if it’s a lot of things.
