Head

Wear Satisfaction

Super comfortable and awesome ventilation! The inside is lined with lycra so I barely sweat in her. The inside of the cheeks are also padded with polyfil under the lycra, making her extra comfy. Her vision is great, allowing me to see pretty clearly through both her eyes and mouth. There is a pretty standard (1-2inch) blind spot between her eyes but I can see things next to me. Her head is a bit large though, so it’s hard to turn my head, as her cheeks rest a little on my shoulders.



Visual Satisfaction

The patterning and foam carving on her right side (blue ear side) is slightly asymmetrical to her left, but it isn’t very noticable or bothersome to me. The blue ear is also bent backward a little from shipping, and I guess it stayed a little warped. The shaving is pretty choppy in some parts and the backing can be seen in some parts on the blue of her muzzle, but again, it’s not too noticable. She’s easy to brush and she’s super soft. The head’s appearance is adorable, and the expression fits the bubbly personality of my fursona; props to the maker! Her follow-me eyes are stunning too, and she has some pretty cute angles! The reference sheet I gave matches the suit so well, I’m very pleased with how she turned out; nothing is out of place.

Special Attachments and Features

Her earrings were not requested actually, as I was thinking they’d be of extra charge, but my maker added them for me anyhow; I believe this was because they had my old reference sheet from previous art commissions. They’re made with a thick fleece, and they’re backed with some hard cylinder that goes through the holes in her ears. Her hoops go all the way through her ears as well! Super cute and her hoops move around, making her extra lovable. Overall really pleased.

Tails

Wear Satisfaction

The tail is super light and really bouncy!! After a wear or two, the seams started to rip at the base so I had a family member sew it up. Other than that, it’s a really well-made tail.



Visual Satisfaction

The markings are pretty symmetrical! No shaving was involved so everything is flush. Everything matches the concept art incredibly well!

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Everything fits amazing and flows perfectly together. The style is consistent with the rest of their work, and they picked the absolute best colors for my fursona. It exceeded my expectations, as I believe the maker had improved with the batch my costume was made in.

Overall Project Quality
Worth every single penny!! They seem really durable and they work really nicely with each other.



Purchase Process

Initial Contact
I submitted a Google Docs form for the quote, to which they responded to me a day or two later via Instagram; we had talked about me commissioning them previously a few months before.

Maker Response Time
Response times were usually within a few days, with the occasional week or so because of their personal setbacks; totally understandable.

Maker Professionalism
The maker was extremely friendly and kept a business-like tone when working with me. They always responded as quick as possible, and notified me when issues came up in their personal life that would keep them from working.

Project Completion Time
The fursuit was completed in a pretty speedy manner, and I got constant updates and pictures of the progress. I received the suit earlier than expected when it was shipped out, as well. They used USPS with tracking on it.

Final Comments

Aside from small little errors here and there, the suit is perfect to me and I would be more than happy to work with them again. I think this maker would be amazing for anyone looking for a first fursuit, or someone looking for one that’s really comfortable/breathable.
