A post was made to Twitter that her commissions were opening up, and I reached out via telegram to begin the quote process. Gia was very professional and let me know exactly what she needed in order to get started. Maker CommunicationWorking with and communicating with Gia was very easy and non-stressful, and she offered a very welcoming environment for someone who's never owned a suit before! She is very prompt with her responses and reaches out regularly with clarifying questions, progress updates, WIP photos/videos, etc. Throughout the process I was treated very kindly and expectations for what she needed were very clear (payments, completion time, etc.). Project Completion TimeThe commission was accepted in June, started in July, and completed in late August. This was exactly in line with the expectations set at the beginning of the process. I was made a ware of projects that we in progress before mine, and when work would likely begin and end. Once completed, we discussed shipping options and Soleil was promptly sent. Soleil was sent via UPS and I received her in 3 days time! Overall Project QualityOverall, the final product I received exceeded any and all expectations. Everything from the design, to the materials used, to the final look really brought my sona to life. Gia's craftsmanship and attention to detail made my purchase worth every penny. When putting on the suit, there's only one word to describe the final outcome: perfect! Components Head Wear SatisfactionSoleil's head is very comfortable to wear and extremely light at less than 2 pounds! The inside is fully lined with a breathable material and slips on with a perfectly fitted zipper neck. My head is 22.5 inches and the head fits perfectly. Both vision and ventilation are excellent especially for someone who has never owned a suit before. The head allows for a decent amount of peripheral vision and I can breathe perfectly fine. Visual SatisfactionSoleil's head is stunning! All of the attention to detail from her spots to her hair really make this suit special. Everything from the design, to the build, to the fur selection was exceptional. The addition of removable eyelids and tongue offer a bunch of different options for self-expression and create wonderful photos. Gia was also great to work with because she provided a number of tweaks and suggestions to further enhance the design. We decided to add a few black spots to the back of Soleil's head and it really improved her overall look! Hands Wear SatisfactionThe hand paws are very comfortable to wear with a soft interior lining and are very easy to get on and off. They are constructed very well and are made of the same high quality fur as the rest of the suit. The paw design also offers a good amount of movement and enhance the overall look of the suit. The pads are fur and the claws are made of a soft vinyl which adds a sophisticated look to the suit. Visual SatisfactionThe design and look of the hand paws fit perfectly with Soleil's overall design. Once again, Gia was great to work with when discussing how I wanted the overall look and fit should land. We decided on a more petite look to the paws and they match Soleil perfectly. Tail Wear SatisfactionSoleil's tail is big and fluffy, just like I wanted it! The tail is very lightweight for being large and is very comfortable to wear (could go hours without issue). The end of the tail has a support disc to ensure there is no sagging during wear, and it also offers and easy way to hide the belt used to wear it. Again the materials are all very high quality, and the construction will have the tail lasting a long time. Visual SatisfactionVisually, the tail is so beautiful and really brings the suit together as it ties in many of Soleil's design elements. The tail also has great movement and sits perfectly when still. The tail was another area where Gia was extremely helpful from a design perspective. The initial reference has the tail in a more wolf/husky style; however, through some discussion, we decided to adjust the tail to be more in line with a traditional fox tail.
