Features: Horns or Antlers, Hair / Wig Concept Art Photos of Completed Product Overall Initial Contacti had made a post on rednote (xiaohongshu) with sora’s reference sheet recruiting fursuit makers, and mild had messaged me with a price estimate of ¥1900 which led me to commissioning them! we talked for a bit, and i sent about ¥380 as a down payment on alipay. they then asked for my neck circumference, head height and circumference, as well as a drawing of the eyes so they could be printed, which all was done with ease! Maker Communicationsince mild is chinese, and i’m from america (in est, so 12 hours behind them), i usually asked my questions at night and they’d respond within a few minutes. if i texted them during the day, which was night for them, they’d often respond around 8pm for me. we talked first in rednote dms, then moved to wechat which made things much easier since wechat has a built in payment system. mild was amazing to talk to, and they were sending me as many wips as necessary! they made the commissioning experience comfortable, and let me know of any delays. we had to communicate in chinese since that’s the only language they know, and i’m a beginner in chinese which meant i needed to use a translator. if i couldn’t understand anything they were willing to rewrite it to be more simple to read Project Completion Timethe project was estimated to have taken a week, but it ended up taking around a month which i had already known would happen since sora is not the simplest design to make and a typhoon had passed while the suit was being made, meaning some things like the fur would be delayed and shipped later. he was eventually finished by late october! then, he was shipped by the start of november and arrived a week later using DHL and only had a slight delay so i could pay off the import duty fee Overall Project Qualitythis is my first ever commissioned fursuit, and i’m so glad i picked mild to make sora. their works are so adorable and i will definitely return when their commissions reopen! i paid ¥1900 and for this price the quality goes above and beyond, all of the markings were perfect and they worked hard to make sure all of the colours fit sora perfectly! he’s amazing to wear and feels comfortable, even having a zipper so he can be put on easily, as well as the previously mentioned removable inner padding. he’s very durable, and i’m usually very gentle with my suits so i can see him lasting many years Components Head Wear Satisfactionthe fit is surprisingly perfect! in case of anything that’ll make the head fit less or more (mostly from my hair lol), the padding inside the head is removable with velcro. it’s lined with a breathable net-like material, and the vision is amazing! save for the blind spot i have in the middle, which is expected with a kemono fursuit. ventilation was perfect, and i could wear my head for a long while without getting hot. on one occasion, i wore it for nearly 2 hours without getting exhausted, which is amazing since i get hot easily and can’t breathe well in very stuffy fursuits Visual SatisfactionBEAUTIFUL!!!! the suit was so gorgeous when i received him! i did change a few things on him visually (like his nose and eyes) but other than this he was amazing on arrival ^_^ his shaving is flawless, and all of his markings are spot on! all of his colours are correct too and i’m so glad that they reached out to me first before buying, since i’m very particular on colour matching. the fur quality is also super great, on par with howl fabrics and very soft to the touch :3 his expression is identical to his ref sheet, since i was able to pick out a base i had picked out while designing sora!
