I heard about them on instagram and they gave plenty of notice of quotes opening up and deadlines for submitting comm requests. Maker CommunicationThe BEST part of the whole making process was just HOW communicative the maker was. They worked with me to make sure we got the best combination of colors we could find, then several dozen images and edit suggestions on the face and muzzle shape, and in the end we both felt the design came out to be greater than what either of us would have done on our owns. It was very collaborative, but the maker was not afraid to define their limitations and tell me when an idea i had was either not going to work (or look good) but also wasnt afraid to be like "hey you were right this looks better your way". I was first in their queue and from quote submital to receiving it took less than 3 months! Overall Project QualityI am extremely satisfied! I wanted my first fursuit to be perfect, I didnt want Sugarbun to looks wrong or off, and SpareFerret knocked it out of the park. My boy looks incredible and I get compliments on him wherever I go! The whole experience was positive and communicative and I couldnt be happier to wear him Components Head Wear SatisfactionIt is EXTREMELY comfy and breathable. It has a strap that wraps around your head to fit snug, everything is lined in a nice cool liner so you arent feeling foam, and the visibility is quite good! I only really have to turn my head a tad to see directly in front of me but the field of view is good enough that ive never felt i needed a handler to navigate con floors. Ive been able to suit crowded spaces just fine without bumping into people Visual SatisfactionThe shaving is CRISP and everything is very well sewn and put together. The maker and I went back and forth sending ideas and thoughts about how it was shaped and patterned, and through our combined efforts and discussions I feel the design and look of the suit came out absolutely perfectly. He is super expressive, has tons of character, and looks adorable! Hands Wear SatisfactionLove them! They get pretty warm after too much use but they brush easily and fit really well. Very durable! Visual SatisfactionI loooooove my custom heart paw pads!!! The shaping on them is PERFECT. the color of pads was maybe a tad too green but honestly Ive barely noticed. Materials are otherwise perfect. Tail Wear SatisfactionTail is very fun and easily to slide onto any belt Visual SatisfactionLooooove how crisp and fluffy my tail is. Its perfect! Special FeaturesMy character has a custom heart bowtie that he wears, the maker did fantastic job at making it easy to put on and look visually stunning! The colors were PERFECT. My only gripe was the ends of the ribbon were a tad short, but not so short that it looked "wrong". Whats important was that its an iconic part of his look and what the maker made accomplished that extremely well.
